Story:
Bheeshma organic foods company is looking for a new CEO as the former one is of age. Meanwhile, Nithin who has been single forever falls for Rashmika.In some unpredictable circumstances, He takes charge as a temporary CEO. How Does the company survive with an amateur in charge in a corporate battle with other corporate forms the rest of the story?

Performances:
Nithin excels in the title role, he has given his best in recent times. Rashmika is charming in her role at her usual best. Vennala Kishore impresses with his comic act.

Positives:

  • Comedy portions throughout the film
  • The chemistry between the leads
  • Action Episodes in 2nd half

Negatives:

  • Some hiccups in 2nd half
  • Routine story

Opinion:
Director Venky who has impressed with his entertainment in Chalo has stuck to his strengths in Bheeshma. He did not miss the entertainment throughout the run time.Nithin in the role of CEO is suave and stylish. Very fine shot-making is at display once he takes charge. The chemistry between the leads sparks up the screen in the love thread.

Bottom-Line:
On the whole, Bheeshma is an entertaining fun ride. recommended for its entertainment quotient

Record Budget for Vijay Devarakonda’s Fighter!

Vijay Devarakonda who started this year on a dull note with his latest release World Famous Lover ending up as a disaster quickly moved on to his next movie with Star Director Puri Jagannadh. 

Vijay and Puri are joining hands for a movie titled Fighter which is said to be made on a record budget of around 50cr. 50cr may seem normal for many people but this is record by a mile for tier 2 heroes.

Fighter is being made as a Pan India film with simultaneous releases planned in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. It is being produced by Karan Johar under Dharma productions and Charmee under Puri Connects. Ananya Pandey has been confirmed to play as the female lead opposite Vijay. It is scheduled to release in October last week.

Superstar Mahesh Babu who had his career biggest and all time top 4 in TFI with SarileruNeekevvaru was supposed to work with Director Vamsi Paidipally for his next project.

However, Vamsi Paidipally is having hard time to crack the climax portion of the script. He is yet to narrate a bound script to superstar. Mahesh who earlier used to okay a script based on a line has changed his way of approach. He is no longer accepting a film unless the director comes with a bound script.

The latest we hear is Parasuram is working with Koratala to narrate a script to Mahesh which might as well be SSMB27.

Even though Vamsi Paidipally announced it publicly in a function that he is directing Superstar, there was no official confirmation from either the producer or the superstar himself.

We all have to wait and see who the director is gonna be!

Nithin’s Bheeshma which released today opened up with Blockbuster reports from USA Premieres and morning shows in India. After a series of disaster from Entha Manchivadavura to World Famous Lover at box-office audience have been waiting for a good entertainer and Bheeshma has a good mix of entertainment with thin story line.

Bheeshma had a good start by collecting $94k from 143 Locations on Thursday (Premieres) in USA. This weekend is crucial for the film to reach break even which is around $700K. As the film is carrying positive reports and strong WOM it seems the film will perform well in both Domestic and Overseas market.

Nani’s Tuck Jagadish Overseas Deal Details

Natural Star Nani who is doing back to back films is now gearing up for the new release of ‘V’ which will hit the screens on 25th March where Nani will be seen in negative role for the first time.

Post ‘V’ Nani is now busy with Tuck Jagadish which started it’s shoot last week. This film is being directed by Shiva Nirvana who earlier made successful films like Ninnu Kori and Majili. This film is now a hot cake in trade circle, Overseas business of Tuck Jagadish has been closed for a decent price of around 4.1Crs. North America rights are bought by Weekend Cinemas and 7 Arts Cinemas for 3.5Crs. Team of Tuck Jagadish are planning to release this film in the month of July.

Nani’s last film Gang Leader Overseas rights were bought for 5.5Crs and ended up as a loss venture. We hope Nani scores success at box office with this upcoming films.
