Naga Chaitanya’s Next Film Will Be A Horror Genre

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya who started his career in 2008 with Josh struggled initially but later on, he made his mark in the industry by improving himself with every film he made. His last film Majili was super hit at Box-office.

Chay is currently working with Sekhar Kammula for a film titled Lovestory along with Sai Pallavi which is in its final stage of the shoot. After Love Story Chaitanya should team up with Parasuram who made Geetha Govindam but Parasuram who committed a film with Mahesh Babu, So Chaitanya is teaming up with Vikram K Kumar post-Love Story. Naga Chaitanya was part of Manam which is directed by Vikram Kumar earlier, according to industry buzz Vikram Kumar is planning to make a sequel for ’13’ that released in 2010 which will be a horror film and it will be the first time for Chaitanya to do a film in this genre. If everything goes well this film will be produced by either Nagarjuna under Annapurna Studios or Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Parasuram in a recent interview stated that his film with Naga Chaitanya isn’t shelved and will go on floors once he completes his film with Mahesh Babu and that film will be produced under 14Reels Plus banner.

It has been more than 50 days of lockdown where all the activities have been paused. The lockdown 3.0 has been implemented with various exceptions for industries and other businesses in orange and green zones. There’s no exception for the Entertainment industry and this may continue further.

A piece of good news for the filmmakers of Kollywood as their government has agreed to the request of the association to allow post-production works of various films which are at the final stage. Although the government has given green single for post-production works there are many instructions to be followed.

Still, there is no information regarding the entertainment industry works in the Telugu States. As of now, the Telangana government has extended its lockdown till 29th May so there would not be any exceptions for the film industry till June second week.

Jr.NTR who on a successful streak is currently working on biggest muti starrer alongside Ram Charan which is being directed by Rajamouli. NTR has already announced that he will be working again with Trivikram post RRR this duo already worked for Aravinda Sametha which is released in the year 2018.

Now, NTR is gearing to team up with Prasanth Neel who directed sensational KGF, currently, Neel is busy finishing the sequel of KGF which is earlier scheduled to release in October. As we have already said Prasanth wants to direct a Tollywood star. A few months earlier Prasanth Neel narrated two different storylines to Mahesh Babu and Jr.NTR. As per inside reports NTR – Prasanth Beel has been confirmed and this project will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. On the other side Mahesh Babu will be teaming up with Rajamouli after he completes RRR.

Prabhas who is now a pan India star, ever since Baahubali success Prabhas further all projects are being made with high budgets which are to released across various Indian languages. Post RRR, NTR is also trying to follow a similar path. NTR – Trivikram and NTR – Neel both films are to be Pan India films.

That Telugu Film To Directly Release On OTT Platform

Direct OTT Release is the word being most often in recent times due to the Corona virus outbreak. Not only in Tollywood but all the Industry producers are looking for an OTT release. As of now only one film from Tollywood has been released on OTT and few more film producers are in talks with OTT platforms.

Though few films which go on sets may not release in theaters due to various reasons and one such film is Sundeep Kishan’s, DK Bose. Sundeep Kishan who being his film career with Prasthanam in the year 2010 has faced many difficulties in releasing a few of his movies. DK Bose film which started it’s shooting in 2012 was scheduled to release in 2013 Summer but due to unknown reasons, this hasn’t released to date.

As now the OTT viewers are gradually increasing the film unit is making all the plans to release it on any OTT platform soon. On the eve of Sundeep Kishan’s Birthday Director Harish Shankar has released the sneak peek of the film and Sundeep Krishan has released the full video song of Padipoya which is one of the instant hit those days.

There is news across media that Bollywood star Salman Khan has been approached for the second important character and he will be part of this project although both stars Ram Charan and Salman Khan share a good bonding the news about Salman Khan being part is untrue. The cast and crew of the film are yet to be decided for this film which will be produced by Ram Charan under the Konidela Productions banner.
