It is known that Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Creative director Sukumar have teamed up for the third time for a film titled Pushpa. Pushpa has been announced in 2019 and was supposed to go on sets from March 2020 but the shoot got delayed due to Covid.
The film started its shoot in November 2020 following the guidelines but the shoot couldn’t go well as the team members tested Corona positive. The film is back on sets and the makers along with director Sukumar have planned to release the film for Sankranthi 2022. All of a sudden the makers have announced that the film will be releasing on 13th August worldwide which is unexpected. Sources say that Allu Arjun and his team wanted to release Pushpa this August at any cost. Now the big question is can the makers bring it on time? As still Sukumar has shot hardly 30mins of footage and going by the director’s previous work Sukumar will be taking ample time for post production. As this is a Pan India film the post-production works will usually take much time and will have to see if makers can bring the film on date or not.
Pushpa will star Rashmika Mandanna as lead actress and Rockstar DSP is composing music for this forest backdrop film. Mythri Movie Makers along with Muttham Shetty Media is bankrolling this project.
