RRR Dosti song sets a huge milestone!

The RRR Dosti song that was released yesterday has been on a record-breaking spree. Released on the occasion of friendship, 5 versions of the song in 5 languages came out. What’s surprising is that all five songs have been trending on YouTube which is a first in the history of Indian cinema.

The individual versions have been raking in views at a record speed as well. The Telugu version has recorded 6.6 million while Hindi has got 8.1 million views so far. The Tamil song ‘Natpu’ has got 2.8 million views while Malayalam song ‘Priyam’ has 150,000 views and Kannada ‘Dosti’ recorded 260,000 views.

RRR Dosti song is shot in 5 languages, the Telugu version is sung by Hemachandra, Tamil by Anirudh, Malayalam by Vijay Yesudas, Kannada by Yasin Nizar. A special set was erected in Annapurna Studios for this song in which all 5 singers made an appearance along with a surprise entrance by Jr NTR and Ram Charan towards the end.

Daakko Daakko Meka- Pushpa single update is out!

As mentioned earlier, the makers of Pushpa on the occasion of Devi Sri Prasad’s birthday have released an update on their new single. Titled ‘Daakko Daakko Meka’ the song is performed in 5 versions. One version each has been sung in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Vishal Dadlani (Hindi), Vijay Prakash (Kannada), Rahul Nambiar (Malayalam), Shivam (Telugu) and Benny Dayal (Tamil) have performed the five versions. Incidentally, the RRR Dosti Song also followed a similar concept of 5 singers for 5 languages.

Daakko Daakko Meka from the sound of it appears to be an energetic song prepping for an upcoming war like situation. The song will be picturized on Allu Arjun and we can expect to hear some mass beats and witness amazing choreography as well.

The single will be out on August 13th. The Devi Sri Prasad, Sukumar, and Allu Arjun combo is returning after 12 years and nothing short of fireworks are expected this time around.

Salaar shoot resumes today

Prabhas’s upcoming action thriller Salaar is one of the most talked-about movies across the industries. The movie which features Shruti Haasan in lead opposite Prabhas resumed its shoot today after a short gap.

The unit has wrapped up the Godavarikhani schedule. Some high octane action sequences featuring Prabhas were shot here before the pandemic forced the shoot to halt. 

Fans eagerly await Prabhas in an out-and-out commercial action flick which Prashant Neel is famous for. The first look released also gave off rustic and rugged vibes taking fans’ expectations to new heights. 

Hombale Films have decided to invest a huge sum of money in making the action sequences grander. Leaving no stones unturned for the project, the makers have also acquired a vintage bike for a crucial sequence of the film. Prabhas’s pics with the vintage bike recently went viral giving further strength to the speculation that the film might be 1970s gangster drama.

Salaar is a pan India project and is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Kannada. The film will also be released in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.

Jr NTR gets closer to nature

Jr NTR is one of the most versatile actors we have across the industries. The RRR actor apart from films has proven himself as a great TV show host as well. Now, we hear that the actor is going to venture into a new field and that is organic farming.

Jr NTR has taken his love for nature to the next level by purchasing six acres of open land in Shankarpally, on the Hyderabad outskirts. The actor has plans to build a farmhouse there where he will also indulge in organic farming.

The actor was recently spotted at the Shankarapally Tahsildar office for registering his land. Some fans, on learning that their star was at the Tahsildar office even rushed to the spot.

According to a source, “Jr NTR has been planning to purchase land for quite some time, and the idea materialised only recently. With Shankarapally area favouring agriculture a lot more, the actor has been hoping to initiate organic farming on his land soon.”

The actor is presently busy finishing his portion for SS Rajamouli’s RRR. He also recently shot for TV quiz show Evaru Meelo Koteswarulu which will be telecasted soon. Post the completion of his present commitments, he will next move on to Koratala Siva’s NTR30.

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is completing its shooting at a great pace. Rajamouli has aimed to finish the movie at the earliest as it already has seen multiple delays. As a part of promotions, the RRR makers released a special RRR Dosti song marking friendship day.

Shot in 5 languages, the Telugu version is sung by Hemachandra, Tamil by Anirudh, Malayalam by Vijay Yesudas, Kannada by Yasin Nizar. A special set was erected in Annapurna Studios for this song in which all 5 singers made an appearance along with a surprise entrance by Jr NTR and Ram Charan towards the end.

Fans are sure to be ecstatic with the appearance of their favorite stars in this song. The song features great lyrics about friendship, which will also be the underlying theme of the film.

DVV Danayya is backing this multi starrer project featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan under his banner DVV Entertainments. MM Keeravani will be composing music for this period action drama.

Pushpa team to start promotions

This year a number of Tollywood biggies are lined up. Every major star is a part of one or more of the most anticipated movies of the year. And one of these movies is Pushpa. This Allu Arjun starter has already impressed the audience and fans with its posters and glimpse. And now, Pushpa team is all set to get going with the promotions.

According to the initial schedule, Pushpa was set to release in August. But with lockdown washing down all the plans, the promotions will now start from this month onwards. Reportedly, an announcement regarding the release of the first single will happen on August 2nd on the occasion of DSP’s birthday. And if DSP and Allu Arjun’s track record is anything to go by, this is surely going to be a chartbuster. The Pushpa team is confident of the music success

Sarkaru Vaari Paata locks a good release date

The day has finally come and fans have got a glimpse of Superstar Mahesh Babu from his upcoming action thriller Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The movie has generated massive buzz right from the day of its announcement. Mahesh’s long locks, earrings, and tattoo have quickly turned quite popular and with the first look, the expectations have only grown higher.

The #SVPFirstNotice featured Mahesh in a dashing look from what appears to be an action episode from the movie. Fans energy levels have gone up a notch with this complete face and look reveal from the movie. This is the first time fans have got a complete glimpse of Superstar. The earlier posters which featured him either from a side on angle or long shots.

A glimpse of the film or ‘Super Star’s Birthday Blaster” will be unveiled on Mahesh’s birthday on August 9th.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be releasing amidst massive competition for Sankranti 2022. Other movies in the race for Sankranti and Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Rana starter Ayyappannum Koshiyum remake, Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam and Venkatesh and Varun Tej’s F3.

The Sankranti season will have action thrillers, comedy, and romantic feasts for movie lovers. In such a scenario, it is crucial for the movie to have a solid release date. Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be releasing on January 13th. The team doesn’t want the movie to release earlier as it may have a pre-festival effect. With the pan India movie Radhe Shyam releasing the next day, the release date of 13th January looks ideal.

Incidentally, this Parasuram directorial was one of the earlier ones to announce the Sankranti season as its release date. This was followed by Ayyappannum Koshiyum remake and Radhe Shyam confirming their arrival around the same time.

The movie’s shoot is going on at a great pace. Parasuram and Mahesh have decided to wrap up the film at the earliest. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this prestigious project. SS Thaman is composing the music for this action drama.

Good News for AP Theatres

With theatres slowly opening up across the country post the lockdown, movies are lining up for release one after the other. And now, with a number of Tollywood releases scheduled in August, here’s a piece of good news for AP theatres as well.

After a long series of discussions on the AP government GO of placing slab on ticket rates, exhibitors and distributors have got some relief. Exhibitors union got Positive response from AP Government to discuss over ticket prices across AP theatres. Apart from the ticket prices, the union has also received positive word from the government authorities over some of their other issues.

The exhibitors union is scheduled to have a discussion with the government about their demands after August 15th. Meanwhile, theatres will be opening up across Andhra Pradesh from August 5th.

Kiara Advani joins RC15

The much-awaited Ram Charan and Shankar’s RC15 has just got a beautiful addition in form of Kiara Advani. It was rumoured for the past few months that Kiara will be paired opposite Charan. The actress has earlier worked with Ram Charan in Vinaya Vidheya Rama. While the movie failed at box-office, the pairing was appreciated.

Kiara and Charan will start shooting for the film from September. The film’s pre-production works have already started. Meanwhile, in this time, Ram Charan will look to finish Acharya and RRR and then move on to Shankar film.

Ram Charan and Shankar are teaming up for the first time for a magnum opus, and expectations are way too high considering the fact that it is being produced by Dil Raju under his home banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Multiple plotlines and theories have been floated about this Ram Charan and Shankar film. Some say that the Mega Power Star will be playing the role of a young and dynamic IAS officer fighting corruption. There is another set that believes that RC15 is going to be a re-adaptation of Shankar’s Mudhavalan (Oke Okkaddu).
