Boyapati gives Ram Charan’s story to Yash?

Boyapati Srinu, known for his high voltage action movies is reportedly in plans to direct Rocking Star Yash next. According to the buzz, the film will be an out-and-out mass entertainer and Yash has even given green light to the film. Boyapati, who has wrapped up his Akhanda is now looking to move on to another high voltage action entertainer.

Interestingly, the director had first planned to make the film with Mega Power Star Ram Charan. Charan, however, could not okay the project. Now the same story has been offered to Yash who apparently liked the subject and okayed it.

Both Yash and Ram Charan and are currently busy with their pan- India films. While the Rocking Star will be seen KGF 2 releasing on 14th April, 2022, Charan will be seen alongside Jr NTR in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR.

Vijay Sethupathi high budget multistarrer announcement tomorrow

On the occasion of the birthday of popular Tollywood producer and distributor Sunil Narang of Asian Cinemas, a major announcement has been scheduled. The film will feature Vijay Sethupathi and Sundeep Kishan in lead roles. The announcement is scheduled to take place at 10:26 AM tomorrow.

Bankrolled by Narang’s Asian Cinemas and Karan C Productions, the film is touted to be a big-budget multistarrer. It will be a pan-India film and will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam,Kannada, and Hindi.

Sunil Narang has lined up a good number of projects and he also owns multiplex chain Asian Cinemas and is the part-owner of AMB Cinemas. Vijay Sethupathi has a bunch of projects lined up in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. His next film Laabam co-starring Shruti Haasan is scheduled to release on 9th September.

The actor will also be seen alongside Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil in Vikram and has also signed a bunch of Telugu projects post the roaring success of Uppena.

Sundeep Kishan on the other hand is awaiting the release of his next film Gully Rowdy which will also release in September.

Mahesh looking to wrap up Sarkaru Vaari Paata by October end

Superstar Mahesh Babu has returned to Hyderabad from Goa. The team of Sarkaru Vaari Paata will now finalise the next schedule pretty soon and is looking to wrap up the film’s shoot by October end.

The unit is ecstatic with the tremendous response the recently released Sarkaru Vaari Paata Blaster received. The Sankranti season will have action thrillers, comedy, and romantic feasts for movie lovers. In such a scenario, it is crucial for the movie to have a solid release date. Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be releasing on January 13th.

The team doesn’t want the movie to release earlier as it may have a pre-festival effect. With the pan India movie Radhe Shyam releasing the next day, the release date of 13th January looks ideal.

The movie’s shoot is going on at a great pace. Parasuram and Mahesh have decided to wrap up the film without any delays. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this prestigious project. SS Thaman is composing the music for this action drama. The movie is slated for a Sankranti 2022 release.

Tuck Jagadish announcement tomorrow

The announcement on the release date of Nani’s Tuck Jagadish will happen tomorrow. There have been a lot of controversies and suspense over the maker’s decision to go for OTT. It was earlier reported that the film will stream from 10th Spetember but the suspense will only be cleared tomorrow.

Nani’s Tuck Jagadish has been in waiting for a release date since April. The film was earlier scheduled to release on 23rd April. But, as luck would have it, the movie got pushed due to lockdown like a number of other much-anticipated movies.

This Nani and Ritu Verma starter is now set to release on OTT now. This update has come up now despite both makers and Nani repeatedly claiming that there will only be a theatrical release for this family entertainer.

Shiva Nirvana is directing this family entertainer and Tuck Jagadish marks the second collaboration between him and Nani after Ninnu Kori. Jagapathi Babu, Nassar, Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Rohini are playing other pivotal roles, while Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi are the producers.

Bigg Boss 5 latest promo is out, show to start on September 5th

Bigg Boss Telugu season 5 is going to return to the small screens soon. ‘King’ Nagarjuna, who hosted the previous two seasons will return as the host for the third consecutive time this year.

This season 5 of the show will air from September 5th at 6 PM. Star Maa which will be screening the reality show will make an official announcement soon. The show’s latest promo featuring Nagarjuna was released by Star Maa a while ago.

Earlier it was speculated that due to the pandemic, this year Bigg Boss Telugu will be discontinued. However, that’s not the case and the show’s unit is all geared up to hit the small screen. The selection of contestants for the show has already been completed. The final list of contestants is being kept as top-secret and will be revealed on the day of airing only.

The first season of the show was hosted by Jr NTR while Natural Star Nani took the charge of the second season. Nagarjuna has been at the helm of affairs since season 3.

Samantha to take a break from films

The ‘Shaakuntalam’ actress in a recent interview with a Bollywood entertainment portal revealed that she is planning to take a break from films for a while. Samantha has revealed that she is planning to take a break from films for a few months. She added that it’s been 11 years since she has been working continuously. 

Speaking about the controversy created by her character in Family Man 2, she also apologized to fans. She said that her intention was not to hurt anyone.

“I allow people to have their own opinions. If they decided to stay with that opinion, I am very sorry for hurting anyone’s sentiments. I sincerely apologise as it was not something I intended on doing at all. I did not mean to hurt anyone. So, if I did, I am extremely sorry. I am glad that, though, once the show did release, a lot of the noise stopped. I guess some saw it wasn’t so bad after all. For the people who didn’t and still continue to hold resentment, I sincerely apologise,” the actress said.

The actress recently wrapped up the shooting for the Telugu film Shakuntalam, and currently shooting for the Tamil film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal.

ED summons for Puri, Rana, Rakul, and other Tollywood celebrities

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned 12 Tollywood celebrities including Rakul Preet Singh, Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja, Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Mumaith Khan, among others, in a four-year-old drug case.

While Puri Jagannadh has been summoned by the ED on August 31, Rakul Preet has been summoned on September 6. Rana and Ravi Teja have been summoned on September 8 and 9, respectively. In 2017, these Tollywood celebrities and directors were questioned by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) as part of a high-end drug racket.

Others, who have been summoned include Navdeep, Nandu, Tarun, and Tanish. The Telangana SIT had arrested a South African national in August 2017 for allegedly supplying cocaine from Mumbai to Hyderabad. 

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Tollywood actors and directors, including Rakul Preet Singh and Rana Daggubati in connection with a four-year-old drug case, sources told. The ED is probing a money laundering case in which Rakul Preet Singh has been asked to appear before the agency on September 6, Rana Daggubati on September 8, and Ravi Teja on September 9.

Nagarjuna’s Bangarraju goes on floors

Akkineni Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya starrer Bangarraju went on floor in Hyderabad earlier today. Directed by Kalyan Krishna and bankrolled by Zee Studios and Annapurna Studios Pvt Ltd the film is a prequel to the 2016 socio fantasy Soggade Chinni Nayana.

The team is coming up with its sequel titled Bangaraju and this much-awaited film will feature Nagarjuna’s elder son Yuva Samrat Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in other lead role.

The celebrated father-son duo previously appeared together in Akkineni’s multi-starrer Manam which is remembered as one of the all-time classic blockbuster and also as one of the most memorable films for the Akkineni family and fans all over the world.

Ramya Krishna who was paired in Soggade Chinni Nayana, is part of Bangaraju as well. The makers have roped in Krithi Shetty to play Naga Chaitanya’s love interest.

Anup Rubens scores music for the film and Satyanand has penned the screenplay, while Yuvaraj will handle the cinematography.

Bangaraju is billed to be a wholesome entertainer with a total dose of romance, emotions, and other commercial elements.

The story and dialogues are penned by the actor himself while screenplay has been developed along with Vimal Krishna. Sithara Entertainments is producing the film and barring a song, the entire shoot is compelted.

Neha Shetty plays Siddhu’s love interest, while Prince Cecil will be seen in a vital role in the film produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi.

Sri Charan Pakala renders tunes and Navin Nooli and Avinash Kolla take care of editing and art departments respectively.
