Prabhas’ landmark 25th is Sandeep Vanga’s ‘Spirit’

After many speculations and names of multiple combinations doing rounds, the suspense over Prabhas 25 is cleared. Prabhas on Thursday announced that he will be joining hands with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his landmark 25th film. The movie has been uniquely titled ‘Spirit’.

“Kickstarting my journey with SPIRIT,” he wrote on his social media. The multilingual film will be made in all major Indian languages and also few Asian languages.

Prabhas is currently busy with a bunch of interesting projects. His next film Radhe Shyam will release in January while Salaar will hit the screens in April. Post this, he also has Adipurush with Om Raut and Project K with Nag Ashwin lined up.

Konda Polam worldwide business details

Vaishnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Konda Polam is all set to hit the screens tomorrow. After the roaring success of Upena, all eyes are on Vaishnav performance in this film. Promotions are also happening in full swing for the film ahead of its release and trailer as well as songs got a positive response. The film has also ben awarded a U certificate and has a runtime of 2:15 hours.

Coming to the business, the film has done a worldwide business of Rs 8 crores. The film’s success is not just crucial to Vaishnav Tej and Rakul, but also to Laxman of Bridge films that has bagged the rights. His last film Sridevi Soda Centre was a loss venture and he would be eagerly looking to settle scores here.

Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s Love Story nears Breakeven

Love Story is carrying on its good momentum and is performing well in most areas. This Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starter is now nearing its breakeven mark. The breakeven target is Rs 32.8 crore and the film has collected Rs 32 crore worldwide so far.

While the film is doing great in overseas markets and even in states like Tamil Nadu, the situation in Andhra is different. Due to occupancy and tickets issues, the film’s performance has not been on par as with other areas. The film is far from the breakeven mark in AP.

The Andhra region business has been revised Rs 10 crores due to the tickets and occupancy issues. However, the producers have asked the distributors to send the amount considering a ration of Rs 15 crore only. In case of any losses, the producers have assured the distributors that they will be given next movies as compensation.

MAA Elections is taking a heated turn day by day. Both Prakash Raj and Manchu Vishnu are trying their best to project themselves as the best choice. Vishnu claims that Prakash Raj must not be elected since he is not a native Telugu actor. Prakash Raj meanwhile has brought forth a startling allegation over unfair means adopted by Manchu family.

At a press conference earlier today, the senior actor came out with proof of this act. “MAA Elections have a postal ballot system, where any member who is elderly and is living in another state can cast his vote through the mail. This requires his/her written submission with signature along with an amount of Rs 500/-,” he explained.

“Manchu family has been going and collecting signatures on plain paper from these outstation members. What is the proof that they won’t misuse this paper and cast votes for themselves?”, he questioned on the verge of tears.

The senior actor also showed proof of receipt of the entire amount of Rs 28,000 paid by a single person on voters’ behalf. The person happens to be an employee of Mohan Babu. He further requested the disciplinary committee to look into the matter immediately and even requested Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, and Murali Mohan to take an action on this act.

Republic 4 Days Box-office performance

Sai Dharam Tej’s Republic opened last week to decent reviews. The political drama was well appreciated for its dialogues and performances of Ramya Krishna and Sai Dharam Tej. The film, however, failed to set the box office on fire.

Republic saw huge drops on Monday and the overall 4 days worldwide share now stands at Rs 5.5 crs. Day 5 is also looking extremely weak and the five-noon shows are seeing limited occupancies. The movie’s breakeven target is Rs 12 crore. However, going by the current trend, the film doesn’t look like achieving it and is heading towards a disaster.

Republic is an action-packed commentary on the Indian democratic system and how politicians yield supreme power over the civil servants and courts. Sai Dharam Tej is played IAS officer Abhiram Panja in the film who clashes with Ramya Krishna who is essaying the role of a wily political leader.

Akhanda and Khiladi to clash, can Balayya do it this time?

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Nandamuri Balakrishna are set to clash for this Diwali. According to reports, Akhanda and Khiladi will be releasing on the festive occasion on 4th November. Incidentally, both the movies were supposed to release on May 28th however, got delayed due to Covid second wave.

An official announcement regarding the same will be out in a week. This is not the first time the duo will be clashing at the box office. Their first box office meeting happened in 2008 when Krishna and Okka Magadu released for Sankranti. This was followed by a clash very next year with Mithrudu and Kick which was released in a span of a week in May. In 2011 Mass Maharaja’s Mirapakayi and Balayya’s Parama Veera Chakra were released for Sankranthi.

Ravi Teja has reigned supreme on all the three previous occasions and it needs to be seen if he can continue his winning streak. This time, however, it’s going to be an interesting fight as Ravi Teja’s action thriller will have opposition from Balayya and Boyapati’s successful combo.
