Rana’s Raging Daniel Shekar teaser released

Tollywood hulk Rana is celebrating his birthday today and to mark the occasion, the makers of Bheemla Nayak released an exclusive teaser. The teaser featured Rana in a hyper-aggressive mode. The tussle between Daniel Shekar and Bheemla Nayak is going to form the crux of the film.

The makers are promoting the film on the back of this clash and the earlier teasers have also featured Pawan Kalyan and Rana roaring for revenge.

Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak release date has been one of the biggest talking points of Tollywood. The film recently completed its theatrical business for all areas in AP and Telangana.

There were reports that the film would now be moved by a couple of months. However, producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Trivikram have categorically stated that the film will release on 12th January as promised and there will be no change.

Dulquer Salmaan’s recent Blockbuster Kurup OTT streaming details

Dulquer Salman’s latest thriller Kurup is going to hit OTT platform soon. The movie had a great run at box office. It is the highest grossing film for Salman Dulquer in Kerala box office. Although it attracted Malayalam audience, it was a decent hit at Tamil box office and an average flick in Telugu states.

Now, the movie’s OTT release date and streaming platform has been locked. You can watch Kurup on Netflix from 17th of this December. Kurup is a story of a murderer. The movie is based on the real life story of a fugitive who was disappeared almost 40 years ago.

The story has already been touched by different directors earlier in both Malayalam and Hindi. But, with Dulquer Salman playing this role, it got a new touch. A guy named Chaco killed another person and made it look like his own corpse to get insurance money.

This has happened long ago and all of his accomplices were caught. However, the main man was no where to be found till now. Kurup talks about this man’s life story. The film got criticized saying that they have romanticized a fugitive just for box office sake. Despite all of these movie did quite well at Kerala box office. Shobitha Dhulipala is the female lead in this movie.

Ranbir, Big B and Nagarjuna’s Brahmastra massive update tomorrow

The makers of Ranbir Kapoor starrer superhero film Brahmastra have come up with a massive update. The film’s motion poster will be released tomorrow. The makers made this announcement with a small sneak peek with Amitabh Bachchan’s voiceover. The short video featured Ranbir Kapoor engulfed in fire revealing his superhero look.

Ayan Mukherjee, who earlier directed Ranbir in Wake Up Sid and Ye Jawani Hai Deewani is directing this fantasy epic. The film will be a trilogy in the superhero genre.

The film will star Alia Bhatt opposite Ranbir while Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna will feature in crucial roles. Brahmastra has been in making for quite some time and the anticipation has now risen to great heights with this interesting sneak peek.

Karan Johar, whose Dharma Productions is producing this big budget extravaganza had announced this film way back in 2017. Ranbir will play a superhero in the film while Nagarjuna will essay the role of an archeologist. Amitabh Bachchan will feature as a professor and Alia Bhatt as Ranbir’s love interest.

Brahmastra is slated to release in 2022 and the subsequent parts will be announced soon.

Sankranthi 2022 has been in news from several months ever since RRR, the biggest film of India has announced its release date for January 7th, 2022. Before RRR’s announcement, three big films have already announced their dates. BheemlaNayak for January 12th, SarkaruVaariPaata for January 13th and RadheShyam for January 14th.

SarkaruVaariPaata had so much shoot left when RRR announced its date. It looked difficult for SVP to make it for Sankranthi anyway. With RRR’s announcement, SVP moved officially out of the race. Sankranthi can really accommodate only 2 big films and 1 medium budget film. So, everyone thought that BheemlaNayak will postpone its release leaving the festival for Pan-India films. However, to everyone’s surprise producer of BheemlaNayak continued to release posters or promotional content reiterating the date as 12th January, 2022. With the producer being adamant, distributors were scratching their heads on how to accommodate theatres for three biggies during the festival.

Distributors of RRR have struck a deal with theatres that, if you want to play RRR in your theatre, you need to play it for at least 1 week. No other movie can be played in your theatre. Distributors are making agreements to these terms. No theatre would opt to lose RRR, so BheemlaNayak will hardly have any theatres left for screening. Meanwhile, RadheShyam is releasing on the 14th, which is the 8th day of RRR and also produced by UV Creations who have a strong network of own theatres. So, RadheShyam and RRR don’t really have a problem with their announced dates.

BheemlaNayak on the other hand has no option but to postpone their movie. Apparently, DVV Danayya is meeting with Trivikram to convince him to postpone BheemlaNayak to Shivaratri. Will need to wait and see if this meeting would be successful.

Radhe Shyam is a love story directed by Radha Krishna and presented by UV Krishnam Raju. Virata Parvam is a movie that is based on Naxalites and their revolution. The movie is starring Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi as the lead actors. Posters and songs of the movie has received quite some accolades from people. The trailer of this movie is all set to get released on Sankranti.

It is co-produced by Suresh productions and Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara creations. Venu Udugula is the writer of this story and director as well. There is no clear idea of whether this movie will go to theatrical release or OTT as of now.

Huge mess at Allu Arjun’s Fans meet

Icon Star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is nearing its release and fans will finally get to see his much-awaited raw and rustic avatar. The movie’s pre-release event was held grandly at Hyderabad amidst a sea of fans. A meet and greet event was also organized post this, with fans eagerly waiting to meet their favourite star.

However, due to unforeseen reasons, the program and a photo session were canceled which irked his fans who were eagerly awaiting.

The problem occurred as the event managers issued more passes than the venue could manage. This led to a stampede-like situation. The bouncers also manhandled the fans and used force to control the situation leading to severe injuries to many.

The news of this incident reached Allu Arjun quite late. On hearing about this incident, he chose to cancel the event for the well-being of everyone.

‘I got to know about the unfortunate incident of my fans getting injured at a fan meet event today. My team is personally monitoring the situation and keeping me updated. Henceforth, I will take a lot of care to ensure that such incidents don’t happen again. Your love and admiration is my biggest asset and I am never going to take them for granted,’ the Allu Arjun posted on Instagram story.

Balakrishna’s Akhanda crosses Magical Milestone in USA

Balakrishna’s Akhanda is getting bigger day by day. The movie has been faring pretty well despite of different odds. Now, there is another feather in its cap. The movie hit 1 million dollar mark in USA. This is the first big star movie after second wave to do that.

Because of COVID, many heroes have opted for OTT release. The ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh weren’t that good either. Boyapati’s last movie fell flat at box office, BalaKrishna’s movie wasn’t that big hit either. Above all NBK never had a good market in the US.

Despite all of these the movie made it big. Getting 1M for NBK-Boya in USA post COVID second wave is a good sign for the Telugu movies that are lined up right now. The market is getting back up and is going to boost the confidence of movie fraternity too. This is the second 1M for Balakrishna and first 1M for Boya in USA.

Not just USA, Balakrishna’s Akhanda did pretty well in various territories. The movie has got career best collections for both Boya and Balakrishna.

All in all, we can say that Akhanda has a good run at box office. The closing share will be out in next few weeks.
