Simbu’s next STR49 kickstarted officially

Kollywood Actor Simbu is gearing up for his next film, tentatively titled STR49. The film has been kick-started officially with the team attending a Pooja Ceremony. The Video of the event was also released now featuring the cast and crew. Happening Actress, Kayadu Lohar has also come onboard the film to play the female lead.


The film will also feature Comedian cum Actor Santhanam in a pivotal role. This will also be his first character role after the Actor started working only in solo films. The recent sensation, Sai Abhyankkar, will also compose the tunes for the film as the Music Director.

Director Ramkumar Balakrishnan revealed the film to be set in the backdrop of a college where Simbu will play the role of a Student. He will also appear in a stylish role, as stated by the Director. The film will be produced by Aakash Bhaskaran under his Dawn Pictures. STR49 is currently scheduled for release on 14th January, 2026.

Netflix announces Jack streaming date

Tollywood Actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda starrer Jack released recently. The film had good hype but failed to get a positive response from the audience. It posted poor openings and never recovered. The film is now set for the OTT streaming officially.

Jack will stream on Netflix on 8th May in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. The news has been confirmed by the OTT platform’s handle officially. The team has put high hopes on the OTT performance of Jack. They hope that the film would attract the OTT audience unlike its theatrical performance.

Nagarjuna’s 100th Film: Director finalized

Tollywood Actor Nagarjuna is currently busy with his films, Kubera and Coolie. He is playing a crucial role in both the films alongside Dhanush and Rajinikanth, respectively. He hasn’t started a solo film after his Naa Saami Ranga which released last year. It is learnt that he has finalized the Director for his next, which will also be his 100th Film.

This prestigious film will be helmed by a Tamil Director, Ra. Karthik, fame of Nitham Oru Vaanam released as Aakasam in Telugu. An official announcement regarding the film will also be made soon, revealing the details of the cast and crew. This news is now going viral on social media platforms.

This will indeed be a golden opportunity for the Director, and Nagarjuna also looks to score a blockbuster with his 100th Film. Big danger for Kannappa from Pawan Kalyan

Tollywood Actor Manchu Vishnu is currently working on his big-budgeted Kannappa. The film has an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, and Prabhas. The film was initially planned for release for the end of April, but the team postponed it to 27th June as the VFX works were delayed.

On the other hand, Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan Kalyan saw multiple postponements due to the Actor’s political commitments. Now, as per sources, the team is preparing to release the film on 30th May, which coincides with the release date of Kingdom starring Vijay Deverakonda. The team of Hari Hara Veera Mallu must utilize the dates of Pawan Kalyan and make sure the shoot gets completed within a week.

The Producer of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, A.M. Rathnam, must also start negotiations with the distributors who are learnt to have refused the quoted amount by him. This may take some more time, and there is also a buzz that the team is considering June for the release of Hari Hara Veera Mallu if the pending works and financial negotiations aren’t finished early.

Now, this has become a danger for Kannappa, which has fixed June 27th as its release date. The team of Kannappa expects the film to become a big blockbuster, and, if a clash happens with Hari Hara Veera Mallu it may have to suffer. So, let’s wait and see.
