Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s RC15 has got all the ingredients of an intriguing entertainer. The lead pair of Ram Charan- Kiara Advani, the direction of Shankar, and a supporting cast of talented actors like Srikanth, Jayram, and Anjali, the film has everything to look forward to.

Now another surprising revelation has come ahead. The story of this film has been penned by none other than Tamil star director Karthik Subbaraj.

In an interview, the young director revealed how it was a dream come true for him. “Shankar sir has directed one of the best political entertainers of our times like Mudhallvan (Oke Okkadu). For him to like my story and adapt into RC15 is a surreal matter for me,” said Karthik Subbaraj.

Karthik Subbaraj has been the man behind blockbuster films like Pizza, Jigarthanda, Petta among others. This is the first time he is writing for some other director. While the story has been penned by the young director, Shankar has written the screenplay and dialogues for the project.

Ram Charan’s RC15 shoot is going at a great pace and the third schedule is all set to start in a couple of days. Dil Raju is producing the film while SS Thaman will compose the music for the film. Kiara Advani will play the lead role opposite Ram Charan in RC 15.

Rajamouli’s speech on RRR raise expectations to next level

RRR is one movie that needs no further hyping up. The movie is easily the most anticipated Tollywood movie and fans have been eagerly awaiting its release for quite some time. The action sequences, the songs and the making videos have all indicated that the movie will be filled with quite a few whistle-worthy sequences and action blocks.

These expectations have now soared way higher due to Rajamouli’s speech at the RRR event. The event was not televised back then. However, his speech is now going viral on social media.

“There is one sequence in the second half which we have not shown in the teaser or trailer. When that scene comes, I promise you every nerve of your body is going to be drawn tight,” claimed the ace director.

Rajamouli also thanked Tarak and Charan for their extraordinary hard work on bringing his vision to life.

“You will forget to breathe but your heart will be beating faster. That’s the kind of performance these two gave in that sequence,” he added.

The makers announced last week that the movie will now hit the screens worldwide on 25th March. This has given a great boost to the movie lovers eagerly waiting to catch Jr NTR and Ram Charan on screen.

‘Romeo Juliet ‘ the latest single from Varun Tej’s Ghani dropped in a while ago and it surely has got many grooving. So far the music from Ghani has been intense workout and boxing-themed songs and ‘Romeo Juliet’ being a romantic number has surely given the album a soft touch.

Ace director Shankar’s daughter Aditi Shankar has lent her voice to this peppy romantic number. The picturization of this number is quite soothing and features picturesque locales. As has been the trend of late, SS Thaman who has composed this number also makes an appearance in this song.

Ghani is a boxing-based action-packed sports drama. The makers have left no expense spared to ensure the movie gets a truly international look. Hollywood action directors Larnell Stovall and Vlad Rimburg have worked on Varun Tej’s Ghani.

Debutant director Kiran Korapati is directing Ghani. Saiee Manjrekar, Sunil Shetty, Upendra, and Jagapathy Babu will be essaying key roles in this film.  Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby have jointly produced the film under the banners of Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company.

Varun Tej’s Ghani has already seen numerous delays. The makers are waiting for a perfect date amidst the packed next 2 months to release the film.

Devi Sri Prasad along with SS Thaman is one of the busiest composers in Tollywood at the moment. After the massive success of Pushpa, DSP’s next albums include F3, Pushpa: The Rise, Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu, and Khiladi among many others.

Speaking about Khiladi’s album, director Ramesh Varma made an interesting revelation. The director stated that DSP completed the tunes of all six songs in record time. “After I narrated the Khiladi script tp Devi Sri Prasad, he gave me the tunes of all the six songs in just 30 minutes,” said Varma.

Khiladi will have a total of 5 songs and the recently released ‘Catch Me If You Can’ has become an instant chartbuster. It has brought up 2 million views in just 3 days and has become an instant hit. Khiladi is all set to release on 11th February worldwide and will feature Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in a double role.

Meenakshi Choudhary and Dimple Hayathi will feature opposite Ravi Teja and if the film’s trailer is anything to go by, it is going to be an action-packed ride for sure.

Ahead of the Oscars nominations at 6:30 PM today, all eyes will be on Suriya’s Jai Bhim. Jai Bhim which was released in the latter half of 2021 instantly impressed movie lovers and critics for its hard-hitting tale and storytelling. It is also the highest-rated Indian film on IMDb and rightly so.

Ahead of the Oscars nominations, prominent Hollywood critics were found discussing which film could cause the biggest reaction. In response to this, Jacqueline Coley said “Jai Bhim for best picture. Trust me on this one.”

Suriya’s Jai Bhim will be one among the list of 276 films in contention for awards. After this tweet, fans, and Indians, in general, are keeping their fingers crossed and hoping for an Oscar nomination. Jai Bhim has the potential to be nominated either for Best Film(Foreign/International) or Best Film.

If Jai Bhim is nominated tonight, it will be the first South Indian film to get an Oscar nomination and also the 4th to be nominated for the Best International Film category.

Jai Bhim tells the story of the fight against injustice. Suriya plays the role of lawyer Justice Chandru, who was the frontrunner in the fight against the injustice of people from the remote areas of Tamil Nadu.

Jai Bhim also stars Manikandan, Lijomol Jose, Rajisha Vijayan, Guru Somasundaram and Prakash Raj among others. TJ Gnanavel is the director of the movie. Suriya and Jyothika have also produced the film under 2D Entertainments.

Sukumar and Koratala Siva in race for Ram Charan

Mega Power Star Ram Charan has got the most exciting lineup of all the T-town heroes at the moment. After Rajamouli’s RRR, he has Shankar’s RC 15. Post this, he has Gowtam Tinnanuri and Prashanth Neel projects as well. Adding to this, Sukumar has already announced that he and Charan will get back together once again.

Now it is being reported that Koratala Siva might also just get added to this lineup in race for Ram Charan. Koratala is penning a script exclusively for Charan and wants to work on it after NTR30. Koratala Siva has been planning to work with the ‘RRR’ star right after Mirchi but it didn’t work out due to script issues.

Both the director and actor have shared a desire to work together since then. While Koratala directed Charan for a crucial portion in Acharya, he also wants to work on a full fledged script exclusively with Mega Power Star.

Currently, Charan is busy with RC 15 and the third schedule of the film is all set to start on 10th February. This 2 weeks long schedule will be shot in East Godavari villages and will feature Anjali and Srikanth as well.

Ever since the massive success of Sarrainodu in 2016, Boyapati Srinu has failed to deliver a hit again. All of this changed in 2021, after the release of Akhanda. Ever since, Boyapati Srinu’s market value has gone up greatly.

Usually, when star directors work with medium-range or small-range heroes, the director demands more remuneration than he often would. For example, Boyapati Srinu took a remuneration of 14 crores for Jaya Janaki Nayaka, which featured a small-range hero in the form of Bellamkonda Srinivas. Boyapati took almost 3x the remuneration of the young actor.

Now, Boyapati is doing his next movie with the young sensation Ram Pothineni. Boyapati Srinu is demanding a remuneration of 12 crores for the movie whereas Ram is taking only 6-7 crores. Boyapati Srinu is taking almost 2x the remuneration of Ram for the movie.

Just like Boyapati’s other movies, his next with Ram will also be a mass action entertainer. It will be interesting to see if Boyapati can pull off a hit with an actor like Ram who is usually known for his romantic comedies.

His previous ventures with Ram Charan and Bellamkonda Srinivas did not go well with the audiences. This is a great chance for Boyapati to prove that he can still score a hit with a young actor.

Bheemla Nayak was originally scheduled to release on January 12th but got pushed to a later date due to a sandwich between RRR and Radhe Shyam. The makers finally announced 2 release dates, either February 25th or April 1st. But things were looking bleak with rising COVID-19 cases in the country.

There is finally positive news around the film as the COVID-19 cases are rapidly decreasing and the government is thinking about revising the new G.O. The government wants to settle down the ticket rates issue and cancel the court case by 10th February.

In view of this, the makers of Bheemla Nayak are extremely confident in a February 25th release date. Everything looks positive for the film so far. With excellent theatrical business, favorable release date, and massive hype, the film is heading towards a blockbuster.

By February 25th, the government will also lift occupancy restrictions and night curfew in the state, which will further help in collections at the box office.

Bheemla Nayak also stars Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen, Samyuktha Menon, Murali Sharma, and Brahmanandam among others. Trivikram has written the screenplay for the film. Saagar K Chandra is the director of the movie. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi has produced the film under Sithara Entertainments. Thaman S is the music director of the film.

At one point in time, the fame and craze that Rajinikanth generated cannot be matched by any other actor in India. The name Rajinikanth was and still is a household name. But off late, Rajinikanth’s movies have lost their connection with the audiences.

Ever since Lingaa, Rajinikanth’s movies are not performing up to the mark at the box office. The only exception in this dull period was Petta in 2019 which did well comparatively.

His last two movies, Darbar and Annaathe have also been disasters at the box office. Annaathe failed to get a decent number overseas as well as in the Telugu states. There are various reasons for this, outdated scripts, directors are not able to cater to Rajini’s star image, etc.

But all is not sad as there is a strong buzz that Rajinikanth will be collaborating with Doctor movie fame Nelson Dilipkumar for a film. This is a fresh and exciting combo that Rajinikanth desperately needs. This combo will be a big plus as Nelson’s market will only grow to great heights after the release of Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast.

Sun Pictures will most likely produce the film and Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music for the film. Like Nelson’s previous films, this will also most likely be a dark comedy. It will be interesting to see how Nelson caters to the star image of Rajinikanth.
