That Telugu Film To Directly Release On OTT Platform

Direct OTT Release is the word being most often in recent times due to the Corona virus outbreak. Not only in Tollywood but all the Industry producers are looking for an OTT release. As of now only one film from Tollywood has been released on OTT and few more film producers are in talks with OTT platforms.

Though few films which go on sets may not release in theaters due to various reasons and one such film is Sundeep Kishan’s, DK Bose. Sundeep Kishan who being his film career with Prasthanam in the year 2010 has faced many difficulties in releasing a few of his movies. DK Bose film which started it’s shooting in 2012 was scheduled to release in 2013 Summer but due to unknown reasons, this hasn’t released to date.

As now the OTT viewers are gradually increasing the film unit is making all the plans to release it on any OTT platform soon. On the eve of Sundeep Kishan’s Birthday Director Harish Shankar has released the sneak peek of the film and Sundeep Krishan has released the full video song of Padipoya which is one of the instant hit those days.

Ever since Baahubali series Rebel star Prabhas has become a pan India star and now all his movies are not only releasing in all languages but are also being made with high budgets. Though his last film Saaho didn’t fare well in Telugu states it collected around 70Crs share in Hindi version.

Currently, Prabhas is doing a romantic entertainer which is being directed by Radhakrishnan post this film as recently announced Prabhas will be joining hands with Nag Aswin under Vyjayanthi Movies banner which will be a scientific thriller. Buzz is that Nag Aswin has completed the entire script work and he is in plan’s to rope Tamil Star Aravind Swamy who is well known for the Telugu audience and has good market across all languages for an important role in this film. This film is to be officially launched in the month of October and will be releasing in the year 2022.

Natural Star Nani who started his career with Asta Chama as an actor has become closer to the audience and youth with his performance and films he made. Nani’s 25th film V The Movie has completed all its shooting part and is ready for release. Nani is currently working for Tuck Jagadish which is being directed by Shiva Nirvana which will release later this year.

Nani who always supports young directors is now again teaming up with Vivek Athreya who delivered two successful films Mental Madhilo and Brochevarevarura with Sree Vishnu. This film is said to be out and out entertainer which will go on sets after completion of Tuck Jagadish. This film is likely to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers which produced Gang Leader earlier with Nani.

దానికి విజయ్ ఘాటుగా స్పందిస్తూ విజయ్ #KillFakeNews అంటూ తన ట్విట్టర్ అకౌంట్ లో సదరు వెబ్సైట్ నీ తిడుతూ పోస్ట్ చెయ్యటమ్ జరిగింది దానికి సూపర్స్టార్ మహేష్ బాబు, మెగాస్టార్ చిరంజీవి మద్దతు తోడవడంతో గొడవ పెద్దదైంది, కింగ్ నాగర్జున స్పందిస్తూ ఇటువంటి వాటిని రాకుండా ఆపటానికి ఒక ప్రణాళిక సిద్ధం చెయ్యాలి అనటం తో భయపడ్డ సదరు వెబ్సైట్ తన తప్పులను కప్పి పుచ్చుకునే ప్రయత్నం మొదలు పెట్టింది.

తాము ఏ విషయం అయిన అందరి అభిప్రాయాలకు అనుగుణంగా ఉండే లానే రాస్తాం అని కావాలంటే మేము మీ సినిమాలకి ఇచ్చిన రేటింగ్స్ చూడండి అంటూ దృష్టి ఫేక్ న్యూస్ నుండి రేటింగ్స్ మీదకు మార్చటం మొదలు పెట్టారు.

Post Acharya Chiru has decided to remake Malayalam BlockBuster Lucifer with young director Sujeeth who earlier directed Saaho. Lucifer is a political drama revolving around two important roles. There is news across media that Bollywood star Salman Khan has been approached for the second important character and he will be part of this project although both stars Ram Charan and Salman Khan share a good bonding the news about Salman Khan being part is untrue. The cast and crew of the film are yet to be decided for this film which will be produced by Ram Charan under the Konidela Productions banner.

Super Star Rajinikanth starrer Chandramuki which released in the year 2005 has created a new wave across all industries as the film become one of the biggest hits by collecting around ₹50Crs in both languages. Almost after 15 years, P.Vasu who directed Chandramuki comes up with the sequel.

This sequel will star choreographer turned actor Lawrence in the role of Vettaiyan played by Rajinikanth in the Varaai song in the first part. This film to deal with the back story of Chandramuki which stars Prabhu, Nayanthara, Jyothika, Vadivelu in crucial roles, and Vineeth, Sonu Sood, Malavika in supporting roles. According to inside reports actress, Jyothika has been roped as the female lead for this sequel. The film will go on sets once Rajini and Lawrence complete their ongoing projects.

No Biggies Will Hit Screens This Year ?

Every film industry comes up with nearly 150 new releases every year irrespective of language and Tollywood will be ahead with more releases compared to others. Like every year this year also there were 5-6 top star films that were planned to release.

2020 started with a bang at Box-office with the releases of Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala VaikunthaPurramuloo and going ahead Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab, Chiranjeevi’s Acharya, Prabhas20 and much awaited KGF2 were scheduled to release this year. Corona Virus OutBreak has entirely changed their plans. If everything goes well Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab which has a small portion of the shoot left will be the only star hero film from Tollywood to release this year and the rest of the films likely to be pushed next year.

Same situation will prevail even in Kollywood. 3-4 films are scheduled to release this year but as of now, Vijay’s Master which completed all of its shooting part is ready for release this year. Only 1 Star film from each industry is scheduled to release this year.
