SS Rajamouli is enjoying the success of RRR and is investing his time and energy on RRR Oscars campaign. The movie is getting immense response across the west and Japan. During the latest media interactions, he was questioned about his next movie. He replied that the script working is going on and it’s too early to comment on it.

He further added that him along with his dad and cousin have a brief idea about the story, it will be an adventure action movie. Furthermore, he also said that Indiana Jones is one of his all time favorite movie and movie with Mahesh will be on similar lines, it will be a globe-trotting action adventure in his words.

Generally, his movies of late have a period touch and deeply rooted in Indian culture. This is a new genre he will be attempting. Mahesh has done western treasure hunt movie in the past by the name Takkari Donga. Such action adventure movie is also in the minds of his fans who love to see him in a James Bond type movie.

Ever since Dil Raju has been trying to block theaters for Varisu, problems started in tollywood. This is getting overboard, now the issue has crossed borders and Tamil producers are involving to make the gap grow big.

At the center of the issue is Dil Raju who had issued statements during 2019 Sankranthi that dubbed films must get secondary preference only. This led to netizens and Telugu producers organizations complaining foul play in Varisu getting more quality theaters at the cost of Telugu films.

Dil Raju has been maintaining silence but pulling the right strings to advance his interests. Allu Aravind came in defense of Dil Raju that dubbing films can’t be restricted anymore in pan India era. This is becoming a kind of mafia.

Since it is their interest, they mend ways to get more theaters. When it was a movie of a small producer who bought Petta for 2019 sankranti, even though Rajinikanth has bigger market than Vijay, he didn’t get enough theaters. It isn’t the matter of the language or state, all that matters is power.

If the producer is influential like Dil Raju or Allu Aravind, they can get theaters anyway. Small producers struggle, giving language color to the issue is misleading.

Meanwhile, Tamil producers are overreacting as if their movies had never seen enough access to theaters. According to sources, Tamil movies has 20% of their revenue from Telugu states. Telugu movies have hardly made money except for Rajamouli movies.

The Pan India phenomenon is just a recent one. They complaining about theaters restriction is silly. They should’ve raised voice during Petta issue, but they remained silent during the genuine concern of Petta Telugu distributor but when Dil Raju is allocating more theaters than required for Varisu, they are threatening unnecessarily in a harsh tone.

అయితే, తమిళ నిర్మాతలు రంగంలోకి దిగే వరకు ఈ సమస్య అంత వివాదాస్పదంగా లేదు. తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో వారిసు/వారసుడు విడుదలను నియంత్రించే ప్రయత్నాల గురించి తమిళ నిర్మాతల మండలి నోటీసు జారీ చేసింది. నిజానికి తెలుగులో విజయ్‌కి ఉన్న మార్కెట్‌కు మించి నిర్మాత దిల్‌రాజు ఈ సినిమా పై మొగ్గు చూపుతున్నారు.

ఈ నేపథ్యంలో అల్లు అరవింద్ స్పందిస్తూ.. బాహుబలి తర్వాత భాషా అడ్డంకులు, రాష్ట్రాల సరిహద్దులు దాటి ఇండస్ట్రీలు అన్నీ ఒక్కటయ్యాయని అన్నారు. అయితే తమిళ నిర్మాతల వైపు నుంచి అనవసరపు బెదిరింపులు రావడమే ఇప్పుడు అందరినీ ఆశ్చర్యానికి గురి చేస్తూనే ఉంది.

తమిళ దర్శక, నిర్మాత లింగుస్వామి ఈ విషయం పై ఘాటుగా స్పందిస్తూ.. వారిసు పై ఆంక్షలు పెడితే పరిణామాలు తీవ్రంగా ఉంటాయన్నారు.అతని అభిప్రాయం ప్రకారం డబ్బింగ్ సినిమాల పరిస్థితి వారిసు సినిమాకి, వారిసు సినిమాకి తరువాత పూర్తిగా భిన్నంగా ఉంటాయని హెచ్చరించారు. బాహుబలి, ఆర్‌ఆర్‌ఆర్ లేదా అవతార్ తమిళ థియేటర్‌లకు సులువుగా యాక్సెస్‌ను పొందుతున్నాయని, అందువల్ల వారిసును పరిమితం చేసే ప్రయత్నాలు తెలుగు చిత్రాల పై చెడు ప్రభావాలను చూపుతాయని ఆయన అన్నారు.

అయితే, తమిళ పరిశ్రమలోని ప్రముఖుల నుండి వచ్చిన ఈ విద్వేషపు మాటలు తెలివైనది కాదు. వారు తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో తమిళ సినిమాల ఆదరణను గమనించలేక పోతున్నారు. తమిళ సినిమాలు ఎల్లప్పుడూ తెలుగు థియేటర్లలో సరైన వాటాను పొందుతాయి, రజనీకాంత్, శంకర్ ల సినిమాలు గతంలో బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద ఎన్నో అద్భుతాలు చేసాయి.

వాస్తవంలో లేని వారి ఊహల ఆధారంగా లేని ఒక సమస్యని లేవనెత్తడం చాలా భయంకరమైన పరిస్థితులకి దారి తీస్తుంది. తమిళ నిర్మాతలు ఈ అనవసర రాద్ధాంతాలకు స్వస్తి చెప్పి ఏమైనా అనుమానాలు ఉంటే వాటిని సామరస్యంగా పరిష్కరించకుంటే అందరికీ మంచిది.

Varisu creates a clash between Tollywood and Kollywood, Linguswamy warns Telugu producers

Varisu is creating ripples in Tollywood and Kollywood. Hot debates and harsh comments have been a daily affair. Producers of both the industries are becoming increasingly aggressive on media. The statements are getting out of hands and creating unnecessary rifts between the two giants. In this connection, Linguswamy has warned Telugu producers in a bitter way.

Varisu is being produced by Dil Raju, starring Thalapathy Vijay. Dil Raju has already allocated good number of quality theaters for this dubbed Telugu movie, even at the expense of two straight Telugu films of Balayya and Megastar Chiranjeevi. This created a sense of unease in tollywood and Telugu producers council advised Dil Raju to rethink about this, quoting his comments during Sankranthi 2019.

However, the issue wasn’t so controversial until the Tamil producers stepped in. Tamil producers council has issued a notice about attempts to restrict the release of Varisu/Varasudu when the scenario is absolutely the opposite.

In fact, producer Dil Raju is actually favoring the movie beyond the market strength of Vijay in Telugu. In this context, Allu Aravind responded saying that post Bahubali we are one industry crossing language barriers and state borders.

However, the tone of Tamil producers continued to be threatening. Tamil Director and producer Linguswany has responded in a harsh manner, saying that consequences would be severe if Varisu is restricted. Situations will change in such a way that, pre Varisu and post Varisu will be entirely different for dubbing movies according to him.

He added that Bahubali, RRR Or for that matter Avatar are easily getting access to Tamil theaters hence any attempts to restrict Varisu will have bad effects for Telugu films. However, this loose talk from noted film personalities in Tamil industry is not wise. They are failing to notice the acceptance of Tamil movies in Telugu states.

They always get the right share of theaters, many Rajinikanth, Shankar movies have done wonders at box office. Flaring up a non issue based on their assumptions not in reality, is terrible. It’s time Tamil producers stop this tone and settle amicably.
