Dhanush’s Vaathi [SIR] Movie hits 100 Crores Gross mark

Dhanush’s latest bilingual blockbuster Vaathi (SIR) Movie has crossed the magical figure of 100 Crores Gross at the box office. The film opened to decent word of mouth from the audience and the reviews from the critics were good too. The positive response cultivated into superb collections at the box office.

Directed by Venky Atluri, Dhanush’s film ‘Vaathi’ was released in theaters on February 17. The film is a Tamil–Telugu bilingual film, and it was released with the title ‘SIR’ in Telugu. The film’s cast includes Samyuktha Menon as the female lead and Samuthirakani as the antagonist, with Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani in other important roles.

The movie has had a good run until now, and it will continue for this weekend too, as the continuous failures of new releases are helping the film in both Telugu and Tamil States. Director Venky Atluri is known for love stories, but this time he handled a serious issue and impressed everyone.

The story of ‘Vaathi/SIR’ is set in the 90s and Dhanush appears in the role of a professor who fights against the corporate business and people who don’t want the poor and underprivileged students to succeed. The film focuses on the drawbacks in privatization of education. GV Prakash composed the music for the movie.

The movie will soon make its digital premiere. Meanwhile, after SIR, Dhanush is currently shooting for his film ‘Captain Miller’ directed by Arun Matheswaran. He has also signed up for his next film, which will be trilingual and directed by Sekar Kammula.

A couple of weeks back it was also officially announced that Dhanush will direct his 50th film, tentatively called ‘D 50’. The film will include a huge star cast which includes Dhanush, SJ Suryah, Vishnu Vishal, Kalidas Jayaram and Dushara Vijayan. The movie is touted to be a gangster drama, and the buzz is that it will be titled ‘Raayan’.

గత కొన్ని రోజులుగా పుష్ప థియేట్రికల్ రైట్స్ కోసం 1000 కోట్ల డీల్ జరిగిందని చాలా వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి కానీ అది కేవలం ఒక పబ్లిసిటీ స్తంట్ గానూ.. వాస్తవం అందుకు భిన్నంగా ఉన్నట్లు గానూ కనిపిస్తోంది. పుష్ప 2 కి హిందీ నుండి క్రేజీ ఆఫర్స్ వస్తున్న మాట నిజమే కానీ తమిళ, కన్నడ, మలయాళ భాషలకు మాత్రం అదే మాట చెప్పలేం.

On Saturday, producer Shobu Yarlagadda congratulated Shahrukh Khan and the Pathaan team for breaking his Baahubali 2 record and becoming the highest grossing Hindi movie. The return film of SRK, Pathaan, broke several records at the box office, notably the biggest grossing Hindi film.

With Rs 511 crores from India, Pathaan has surpassed the previous record holder title Baahubali 2. SS Rajamouli’s 2017 directorial earned Rs 510.99 crores in its lifetime from India. The film maintained the record for five years in a row until Pathaan broke it. Shobu shared a tweet from Taran Adarsh about Pathaan’s ranking in the Hindi Grosser and beating Baahubali 2, KGF 2 and Dangal’s collections.

Shobhu’s tweet was much welcomed by Shahrukh Khan fans and other netizens across South India, as they loved his sportiness. They hailed him by saying hats off and other elevating words and criticized some Bollywood Industry people who can not accept the success of Pathaan.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan marked the return of Shah Rukh Khan into films after over four years of grand style. There was immense hype for the film before the release, and it broke several records right from day 1, including the highest opening-day, weekend, and week as well as achieving several milestones which no one would have imagined.

For the past few days there has been much news about the 1000 Crores deal for Pushpa theatrical rights, but the reality appears to be different from it. It is true that Pushpa 2 is getting crazy offers from Hindi, but the same cannot be said for Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam languages.

Even in Telugu also, the distributors are not in a hurry to offer many record prices for Pushpa 2 as the first part of Pushpa did not generate any great numbers at the box office. The team of Pushpa is trying to create some fake buzz to prove the movie has an immense craze in every language and hence this kind of news of record prices for theatrical rights are doing rounds in the media.

Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa The Rise which was released in 2021 December, was a blockbuster hit and collected over 300 Crores Gross Worldwide. The film was surprise hit in Hindi, and the north Indian audience was eagerly waiting for the Pushpa sequel. Nani’s Dasara is nearing its release date and the film’s music director is all hyped up for the film. “I listened to Over 90 Scripts in Telugu from the Past 10 Years, Among all those scripts, Dasara Was Best Film I Ever heard, I’m Waiting for that Day People Gonna Celebrate this” – Music director Santhosh Narayanan said in a recent interview.

Santhosh also said he finds plenty of similarities in the way Srikanth and Tamil filmmaker Mari Selvaraj approach filmmaking. “Tamil cinema has had many filmmakers who present raw art forms on screen, from Balu Mahendra to Vetri Maaran and Ranjith. While there have been a few such directors in Telugu, it’s still uncommon. And Srikanth is going to crack that space wide open,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dasara’s craze is not only hyped up in the Telugu States, but it has also got to the other language audience as well. Recently, Several fans of Nani in Maharashtra have created a grand Rangoli representing the popular actor in his ‘Dasara’ look. A colossal Rangoli honoring the actor has been conceived by his admirers of Solapur, Maharashtra.

The artwork highlights it in its ‘Dasara’ look and shows the launch date of the film, highlighting Nani’s popularity beyond the Telugu states.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara’s music has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan and Sathyan Sooryan ISC handled cinematography. Navin Nooli is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer of the film, and Vijay Chaganti is the executive producer. Sudhakar Cherukuri is the producer.

The film stars Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Samuthirakani, Zarina Wahab, Sai Kumar and Rajsekhar Aningi. పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ – సాయి ధరమ్ తేజ్ కలిసి తమిళ చిత్రం వినోదయ సీతం రీమేక్ లో నటిస్తున్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. ప్రస్తుతం షూటింగ్ జరుపుకుంటున్న ఈ చిత్రానికి సమ్మర్ లోనే శరవేగంగా షూటింగ్ పార్ట్ ను పూర్తి చేయడానికి చిత్ర బృందం సన్నాహాలు చేస్తోంది. ఆ రకంగా అన్నీ అనుకున్నట్లు జరిగితే సెప్టెంబర్ నెలలో ఈ చిత్రాన్ని విడుదల చేయడానికి నిర్మాతలు సన్నాహాలు చేస్తున్నారు. మొత్తంగా ఇది పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ తదుపరి థియేట్రికల్ విడుదలగా ఉండనుంది.

తమిళంలో మాతృకకు దర్శకత్వం వహించిన సముద్రఖని ఈ చిత్రానికి కూడా దర్శకత్వం వహిస్తున్నారు. ఈ తమిళ చిత్రం 2021 లో నేరుగా ఓటీటీలో విడుదలై విమర్శకుల నుండి ప్రశంసలు మరియు ప్రేక్షకుల నుండి ప్రేమను అందుకుంది. ఈ సినిమా చూశాక పవర్ స్టార్ తెలుగులో చేయడానికి ఆసక్తి చూపారు.

ఇక ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ ప్రారంభించినప్పటి నుండి స్టార్ కాస్ట్ గురించి అనేక రకాల నివేదికలు చక్కర్లు కొట్టాయి. అయితే ఈ సినిమాలోని ప్రధాన తారాగణాన్ని ప్రకటించడం ద్వారా నిర్మాతలు ఆ ఊహాగానాలకు తెరదించారు. కాగా ఈ సినిమాలో పవన్ కళ్యాణ్, సాయిధరమ్ తేజ్ కేతిక శర్మలతో పాటు బ్రహ్మానందం, రోహిణి, తనికెళ్ల భరణి, సుబ్బరాజు, ప్రియా ప్రకాశ్ వారియర్, రాజా చెంబోలు తదితరులు ఇతర ముఖ్య పాత్రల్లో నటిస్తున్నారు.

అలానే మాటల మాంత్రికుడు త్రివిక్రమ్ ఈ చిత్రానికి స్క్రీన్ ప్లే అందించనుండటంతో పాటు తెలుగు నేటివిటీకి తగ్గట్టుగా ఒరిజినల్ లో పలు మార్పులు చేశారు. పవన్ కళ్యాణ్- సాయి ధరమ్ తేజ్ ల సినిమాను పీపుల్ మీడియా ఫ్యాక్టరీ బ్యానర్ నిర్మిస్తోంది. 2015లో వచ్చిన గోపాల గోపాల సినిమా తర్వాత పవర్ స్టార్ రెండోసారి ‘దేవుడు’ పాత్రలో నటిస్తున్నారు.

రోడ్డు ప్రమాదంలో మరణించిన తర్వాత తన కుటుంబంలో పరిష్కరించడానికి అనేక సమస్యలు ఉన్నందున మరో 90 రోజులు జీవించాలని కోరే ఒక అహంకారి (సాయి ధరమ్ తేజ్) జీవితాన్ని ఈ చిత్రం అనుసరిస్తుంది. అతను తన జీవితాన్ని ఎలా మార్చుకుంటాడు మరియు మరింత మంచి మనిషిగా, అందరూ ఇష్టపడే వ్యక్తిగా ఎలా మారతాడు అనేది మిగిలిన కథ. సెప్టెంబర్ లో విడుదల కానున్న ఈ సినిమాలో పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ సమయదేవుడు (God Of Time) కనిపించనున్నారు.
