All time industry disaster is re-releasing in theatres

Recently, the trend of re-releasing the big old hit films in the Telugu Film Industry has become usual, with many old blockbuster movies being released for several special occasions. But the news of an all-time disaster like Andhrawala getting ready for release has come as a surprise to everyone.

Andhrawala (2004) was released with massive hype. At that time, both Puri Jagannath and NTR were in top form. NTR’s previous film Simhadri was a massive blockbuster. They arranged the audio function of Andhrawala with a massive crowd and the hype around the movie was phenomenal.

However, the movie did not meet the expectations of the fans and audience and became a colossal disaster. Not only it was a massive failure, but it is also said to be one of the biggest disasters ever in the history of the Telugu Film Industry. Andhrawala film’s re-release rights have been bought by a private person, and it will be released in March.

It all started with the re-release of Pokiri in the Telugu Film Industry, which brought crazy numbers. Not just big hero films, but even small films started getting re-released from thereafter. We need to wait and see if the re-release of Andhrawala actually happens, or it will be just an announcement.

Recently, Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s old super hit movies Badri and Tholiprema’s re-release were also announced, but they did not materialize in the end because of unknown reasons.

This is a proper Telangana song with whole wedding vibes. The music director Santhosh Narayanan captured perfectly the mass pulse of the film with this song. Going through the lyrics and visuals of the song, it seems to be put into the background of a Muslim wedding.

The lyrics also point to the jokes about a wife and husband, congratulating each other and describing their relationship. Kasarla Shyam penned the lyrics for the song. Ram Miryala and Dhee have lent their vocals for the song.

The pre-release event of the 4 – episode web series was held last night in Hyderabad, and the team had a few special guests in attendance.

The trailer of the Anger Tales series came out recently and was well received by the audience. Now the earlier response and reviews are also coming very well for the series. The story of the series is based on the most common emotion of the public, which is anger.

Anger Tales stars Venkatesh Maha, Suhas, Tharun Bhascker, Ravindra Vijay, Phani Acharya, Bindu Madhavi, and Madonna Sebastian in the major roles. Prabhala Tilak is the writer and director of the film. Smaran Sai composed the music.

Out of the four stories, An Afternoon Nap starring Bindhu Madhavi is receiving a superb response from the netizens as many felt that the episode was very natural and brought out the emotional aspect in an effective manner. Anger Tales is all about four characters that experience extreme anger because of each other’s plight in their lives.

The first story is about Ranga (Venkatesh Maha), a desperate fan of a star hero who is hell-bent on screening his favorite hero’s benefit show at 7 PM in a single screen. The second story is about a married woman, Pooja Reddy (Madonna Sebastian), who is restricted by her vegan husband and mother-in-law from having food of her choice.

The third story relates to a housewife named Radha (Bindhu Madhavi), whose sleep is disrupted by the constant, loud chatter of her hose owner and their family. The fourth and final story is about a 32-year-old man, Giridhar (Phani Acharya), who faces hardships both in his personal and professional life because of his bald head.

There are a few heroes in the Telugu Film Industry who have got a bit of craze with scoring hits with their first few films. However, they were unable to maintain the momentum in their career and faced continuous failure after that, but still, they have got chances for next films in big banners.

The audience, few industry circles were doubtful about how come those big banners have produced films with these young heroes. The content of the said movies was also not strong. So, questions were raised about why the big banners which have fame and credibility are putting risk of making films with the heroes.

When we dug into deep, it was revealed that these young heroes are putting their own money into the films they are acting, but they are projecting to the public that those movies are being produced by big banners. Because those banners have craze and name in the audience, the image will definitely come in useful for their films, so young heroes are trying to cash the image of big names.

In industry, this is not a new thing as there have been a lot of movies came in the past which were not produced by on-screen producers. Someone will put the money, but the name as producer will be a different one. Not Sequels but Prequels are the new trend in South India

In the Film Industry, the heroes and directors will follow a separate trend for a certain period. This is more exclusive in the South Indian cinema industry, where commercial formula has the most significant importance in film making.

Ace director SS Rajamouli has started the trend of sequels with Baahubali – the Conclusion which was continued by Prashanth Neel’s KGF and Sukumar’s Pushpa further took the craze of sequels to another level. While these sequels are going on one hand, on the other side, a new trend of prequels has taken off.

The makers are now interested in doing prequels. Rishab Shetty’s much acclaimed Kantara was announced to have a second part, which will be a prequel to the first part. The same goes with Shankar and Kamal Haasan Indian 2, which is said to be a prequel of Indian and now Pa Ranjith – Arya’s Sarpatta 2 is also said to be following the same path as it will show the events which occurred before the first part.

Whether they are Sequels or Prequels, the audience will for sure wait to watch these films and the level of hype and anticipation will be on much higher levels. Let’s wish all the best for all the prequels which are being made.

Tammareddy Bharadwaj, senior director, producer, made a few shocking remarks about SS Rajamouli’s RRR film. He said they can make 8 films with the cost of flight tickets for the RRR team. Tammareddy is known to frequently make controversial statements.

Recently, Tammareddy Bharadwaj, who took part in an event held at Ravindra Bharati, reacted about RRR movie. He said the budget for the RRR film is 600 Crores. Now, another 80 crores have been spent for the Oscars. Instead, they can make 8 or 10 movies out of the same 80 Crores, he said. He added that we should make movies as we like, not to teach someone or please anyone.

Tammareddy’s comments have not gone well with the fans of RRR and other netizens. They said that Oscars promotions will not work as simple as Tammareddy thinks, and it would for sure needs big money to take a film to get the recognition of such high level. Some even stated that he should refrain from bad-mouthing RRR at this point.

Ram Charan will walk on the red carpet with SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR at the Oscars this year. The Academy Awards are scheduled for March 12, 2023. RRR’s Naatu Naatu has been nominated in the Best original song category this year, creating history. Ahead of the ceremony, the stars are in the USA. In another interview with an American television station, Ram Charan was seen fanboying over meeting Hollywood actors he had grown up watching.

Ram Charan also took part in talk easy with Sam Fragoso, where he mentioned and elaborated on his Hollywood debut along with the Action Epic RRR’s revolutionary reach, the most popular song Naatu Naatu filming in pre-war Ukraine and other aspects.

Ram Charan said that he would like to work in every country where great cinema is appreciated and where would the audience love his work.
