Official: Pan India film Hanuman postponed its release

Hanuman, being Tollywood’s first ‘Super Man’ movie, has plenty of expectations around it. As it is being made by Awe! Fame Prashant Varma and has young hero Teja Sajja, in the lead role, the movie is the most-awaited one of this year too. The movie shows how a common man, ‘Hanumanthu’ obtains superpowers. However, the unit of Hanuman has kept mum in the recent days, and it was reported that the movie has been postponed.

Hanuman film is one of the most anticipated one as with the teaser the film created a huge buzz and the makers had initially planned to release the film on May 12th in international markets as well. However, as informed by the makers, the film has been postponed from the supposed date to provide the best possible VFX Work to the audience.

The film has the backdrop of Lord Hanuman and superpowers so it is obvious that it will have very much importance of VFX in the film. If the content clicks well, the film could be a big success Pan India wide.

Produced by K. Niranjan Reddy under Prime show Entertainment’s banner, the movie stars Amritha Aiyer as the female lead. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, Raj Deepak Shetty, and Vennela Kishore play key roles. Gowra Hari, Anudeep Dev, and Krishna Saurabh are scoring the music for the film.

There is no need for a special introduction of the bond between Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas. More than a Hero and a Writer/Director, they both share a real life friendship too. That is the reason Trivikram is involved in almost all films of Pawan Kalyan.According to the reports, Trivikram is now working on the script of Pawan Kalyan’s new film with director Sudheer Varma and the movie will start in this September / October.

It is also being said that a young hero will also be the part of the film and that hero is none other than Pawan Kalyan’s nephew Vaisshnav Tej. We know that Pawan Kalyan’s another nephew Sai Dharam Tej is sharing screen space with him in upcoming film which is an official remake of Vinodhaya Sitham. Samudrakhani is the director of the film, who has also handled the original movie. Interesting thing is, Trivikram is working in the writing department of this movie as well.

As said above, Trivikram will write the story, screenplay, and dialogues for Pawan Kalyan’s new film with Sudheer Varma. Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas are said to be the producers. The female lead and the other actors, technicians, are not yet finalized. The makers will make an official announcement soon regarding the same.

Pawan Kalyan is currently taking part in the shooting of OG and Ustaad Bhagath Singh films, with considerable gap between both the movies. Ustaad Bhagath Singh is being directed by Harish Shankar while Young director Sujeeth will handle the most hyped OG.

Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 2 hasn’t exactly been setting the box office on fire as many had believed. In fact, the Telugu and Hindi versions are failing at the box office while the Tamil version which was expected to strike gold has also been quite slow in terms of collections.

Box-office performance aside, there’s something that’s been bothering the Tamil audience as well. Tamil audience have criticized Mani Ratnam for the changes made to Kalki’s original novel and the half-hearted adaption of the novel. Samantha’s Shaakuntalam, which was made as a mythological epic featuring her in the titular role, was released in worldwide theaters the last month. Samantha and the whole unit of the film were very confident about the success of the film before the release. Shaakuntalam’s streaming rights in all languages have been bought by the OTT giant Amazon Prime and the movie will be available for streaming from 12th May. The Kerala Story movie, which had created a storm on the internet and with its trailer and led to a big controversy, is releasing today in the theaters and the occupancy are a lot better than the recent big star films such as Aamir khan , Akshay Kumar , Ajay devagan and Salman khan as well. The film highlights some cases of how “love jihad” has been used by ISIS to attract 32,000 women to Syria. The shocking incidents occurred between 2018 and 2019, when a growing number of young people in Kerala were under the influence of the Islamic State. The story of Kerala features Adah Sharma in the lead role, playing the converted Muslim woman, Fatima BA, based on a Hindu nurse, who had suffered the same fate. The film also features Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani and Siddhi Idnani in the crucial roles. The Kerala Story is directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah for Sunshine Pictures Private Limited.

The movie is based on a tragedy where about 32,000 women went missing in Kerala. They were reportedly brainwashed and attracted to Muslim men, who married and converted them, radicalized them, and then deployed them to terrorist missions in India and overseas on behalf of ISIS.

Allari Naresh’s new film, Ugram was successful in getting the attention of the audience with its unique and aggressive promotions. Especially Allari Naresh’s stunning makeover in the trailer had surprised everyone. Naresh who used to act in comic roles, changed his course with Naandhi and began to make content-oriented films, after the film’s success. 2023 has been a comeback year for Shah Rukh Khan as he has given a strong re-entry with the gigantic blockbuster, Pathaan, which is the highest grossing Hindi film of all time with lifetime collections in the North of Rs 512 crore. And SRK is all set for his second release of 2023 – the Atlee directorial Jawan. The film is among the most awaited Hindi films of the year and the trade circles are expecting it to create carnage at the box office.Jawan consists of a solid cast with SRK, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi in the main roles with a cameo by Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt in an important extended cameo.

Several global companies are working on the VFX work of Jawan, along with Red Chilies. A new release date will be announced shortly. “The team is contemplating on numerous dates, but they need to be in sync with the VFX guidelines. The dates being considered at the moment are June 29, and all the four weeks of August. In all probability, Jawan will be an August release now, as Shah Rukh Khan and team now want to give adequate time to the VFX. August 11 and August 25 are heavily being discussed by all stakeholders at Red Chillies,” the sources informed.

Even the above-mentioned release dates are tentative and things may change tomorrow morning with Jawan releasing on an altogether new date, as of now the unit of Jawaan favoring an August 11 or August 25 release. Bollywood has many movies piled up for release as Satyaprem Ki Katha is slated to release on June 29 whereas August 11 is heavily crowded with films like Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 and Vaccine War. Dream Girl 2 and Raula are slated for an August 25 release. There’s Rajinikanth’s Jailer also slated for a release on August 10, which will give a tough competition in the Tamil market.

Senior Producer Ashwini Dutt who was involved in a controversy for his recent comments against the Andhra Pradesh Government has once again become the reason for another wrong news. In a recent interview, Ashwini Dutt mentioned that he faced a massive loss of 32 Crores because of NTR’s Shakti movie, but the reality is different, and he is just overhyping the losses.

In the year 2011, Ashwini Dutt tasted made a big budget movie Shakti with NTR, which was a big failure, and he had to bear with heavy losses because of the miserable result. As said above, during a recent interview the Mahanati Producer was talking about the film, Shakti. Ashwini Dutt opined that he lost a huge amount of RS 32 Crores because of Shakti.

Shakti movie was a made on a budget in the range of 40 – 45 Crores which was the costliest project of that time and the movie had did record business in NTR’s Career with a theatrical business close to 40 Crores and with satellite rights, the budget had almost recovered as well.

Also, the theatrical business was done on a recovery basis, so producer has to return some amount in cases of losses. Now even i if we assume that Ashwini Dutt had returned 100% losses to the distributors, the maximum amount he can lose will be around 20 Crores. But he is saying 32 Crores loss, which is not true. A few years back, Ashwini Dutt had said he lost 25 Crores because of Shakti, and now he is saying it is 32 Crores loss. Clearly, the senior producer is overhyping the losses.
