Puri Jagannadh finally finds the hero for next film

The massive failure of Liger has created a severe dent in Puri Jagannadh’s brand image. Puri, who once worked with tier-one stars like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Prabhas, Charan and Allu Arjun is now attracting little interest from even tier-2 stars. Amidst this career slump, it now appears that Ram is the only hope for the maverick director.

So, after a disaster like Liger, Puri Jagannadh has taken a lot of time to set up his next project, and he tried with many combinations and none of them worked and finally Ram Pothineni agreed to do the film and the project is set now. After a blockbuster like Ismart Shankar both are joining hands again which will raise the expectations. The official announcement of the movie is expected to be made on Ram’s Birthday.

Ram and Puri Jagannadh have earlier delivered a smashing hit in the form of Ismart Shankar. The film was liked by the masses because of the hero’s characterization and songs. While some reports suggest that this could be a sequel to Ismart Shankar, others state that this is a fresh project and will have nothing to do with Ismart Shankar.

Earlier, there were reports of Puri directing Mega Star Chiranjeevi for an action drama. The project has now been shelved. The much talked about Jana Gana Mana starring Vijay Deverakonda which had a grand launch last year has now also been shelved.

Recently, the makers of SSMB28 revealed that they will be releasing it on Sankranthi 2024 (January 13th). However, after that announcement, the proceedings of this movie have been slowed down. Now, according to the inside reports, the title has been finalized for this most awaited movie.

There were so many rumors about the film’s title with social media users and netizens spreading many titles, but it is being reported that the unit of SSMB 28 have fixed the title as “Amaravati Ki Atu Itu”. The story of the movie is said to be based on the rivalry of two families in neighboring villages. When the combo of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram was announced it was said that the movie will be an out-and-out action-based on but after a while the story was changed to a family action entertainer.

The title is said to be almost finalized, and the director is very much interested in this title and waiting for the confirmation of Mahesh. The team is in plans to release a glimpse with title on Superstar Krishna Garu’s birth anniversary.

After a 12 years gap, Mahesh Babu and Trivikram are coming together with this movie, Pooja Hegde and Sri Leela are playing the heroines. Thaman is composing the music for the film while Naveen Nooli is handling the editing duties and Harika and Hasini Creations are producing the film.

Samantha’s Shaakuntalam, which was made as a mythological epic featuring her in the titular role, was released in worldwide theaters last month. Samantha and the whole unit of the film were very confident about the success of the film before the release, and they had done aggressive promotions as well. Dev Mohan played King Dushyant’s role in this flick, while Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha appeared as Prince Bharata. Aditi Balan, Prakash Raj, Gauthami, Madhu Bala, Sachin Khedekar, Mohan Babu, Kabir Bedi, Siva Balaji, Satya and Ananya Nagalla appeared in crucial roles. Mani Sharma composed the tunes for this film.
