Andhra Pradesh government plans to bring new movie releases to home

Gowtham Reddy, the chairman of Andhra Pradesh State Fibrenet Limited (APSFL), announced that on 30 May, fans would soon be able to see the first day, first showing of new movie releases from the comfort of their homes. He continued by saying that customers could do this by purchasing a membership, which cost Rs 99 for each movie.

This new initiative by the AP Government will be launched on June 2 in Visakhapatnam by industries minister Gudivada Amarnath. Government officials have stated that exhibitors and producers will benefit from this latest move.

“Theatre owners need not worry about the footfalls and this approach should be considered as just a theatre. Movies will be screened on APSFL only if the producer approaches us,” he added.

Several netizens have expressed a complete lack of faith in this initiative with many claiming this won’t work. In order for new movie releases to be screened on the same day as its theatrical release, the producer has to approach the government and this seems highly unlikely barring a few small movies.

Official: Allari Naresh’s Ugram will be streaming on OTT from this Friday

Allari Naresh’s latest film, Ugram was unable to impress the audience, though before release the makers had done unique and aggressive promotions. Naresh who used to act in comic roles, changed his course with Naandhi and began to make content-oriented films, after the film’s success. Ugram is directed by Vijay Kanakamedala who is the director of Naandhi. The film was released on worldwide screens last month. Now it is getting ready for the OTT streaming from this Friday.

Ugram was opened to below par reviews and talk from the audience, but the performance given by Allari Naresh received appreciation as they found it stunning, and it had mesmerized everyone who had seen the film. Especially the audience are thrilled by his performance in the climax action episode, and they are stated that he acted like a big mass hero. Now the leading OTT platform Amazon Prime has officially announced that Ugram will be available for streaming from this Friday, i.e. June 2.

Mirnaa Menon played the female lead in Ugram which was made as a cop action drama that also has Shatru, Sharath Lohitashwa and Indraja in other important roles in the film. The film has its dialogues written by Abburi Ravi and shot by Siddharth. J and it was edited by Chota K Prasad and has its music composed by Sri Charan Pakala. Ugram movie is produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the banner of Shine Screens.

Ugram Movie tells us the story of Shiva, who is an honest cop who meets with an accident along with his wife and daughter. Thereafter, his wife and kid go missing. Who kidnapped Shiva’s wife and daughter? What problems did Shiva faced in finding them? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

It is very well known to everyone that the Baahubali star Prabhas is currently busy shooting for his upcoming projects – Salaar, Project-K and Maruthi movie – Raja Deluxe. Among all his movies, Project K is the most anticipated movie, not only for the fans of Prabhas but the other audience as well. The movie unit is taking care of every small things in making, which is causing the shooting to take its own time. Since yesterday, there is a sensational news/report about the film has emerged, that the film will become the biggest multistarrer as iconic actor Kamal Haasan will lock horns with Prabhas.

As per the inside reports, it is said that Kamal Haasan was actually approached with the role of the antagonist by Project K. However, it is also being reported that there is no truth to the reports claiming that ₹150 crore remuneration has been offered to the veteran actor. However, the producers had stated that they are right on track to release the film on the same date and when asked about the sequel, there was no clarity from them.

Along with Prabhas in the lead role, Deepika Padukone and Bollywood living legend Amitabh Bachchan will appear in pivotal roles in this masterpiece led by director Nag Ashwin. Veteran Producer Ashwini Dutt is producing this ambitious movie with a massive budget.

It is very well known to everyone that Senior Tollywood hero Venkatesh had made his OTT debut with Netflix’s much-talked-about crime show, Rana Naidu. The web series had excited Daggubati fans and other audience because Venkatesh had shared screen space with his nephew Rana Daggubati for the first time. However, the show received mixed response from a section of audiences due to excessive sleaze and cuss words apart from the subdued content.

Recently, during his nephew Abhiram’s new movie, Ahimsa’s promotional event, Venkatesh responded to the severe backlash Rana Naidu had received upon its release. He said that there was a lot of feedback from fans, but Netflix is quite happy about the show’s response.

“I always believe that you should not dwell on the past, and you have to move on. Next time, when you do the next season, you have to do it in such a way that everybody’s going to like it. But you are not going to please everybody all the time. So, I’m going to please maybe a little more audience. Some people will get affected with the style of the series. But I think we should just move on and see what we can do best next,” Venky added.

Victory Venkatesh will resume the shoot of his upcoming film Saindhav in June and the film is announced for December 2023 release. Sailesh Kolanu is the director of this action thriller. Venkatesh is yet to announce his next film after this, and he will also take part in the shoot of Rana Naidu’s second season this year.

Nine months after ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ failed at the box office, Aamir Khan says he’s not going to make a movie anytime soon. The actor was speaking at the grand trailer launch of the Punjabi film ‘Carry On Jatta 3′ when he spoke about his situation. Known as Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan said he would not like to take the attention away from the Sonam Bajwa and Gippy Grewal starrer but would like to satisfy his fans and other Bollywood audiences’ curiosity about his next film once and for all.

“Today, we should ideally only talk about ‘Carry On Jatta’, but since you all must be curious, let me quickly give you an answer. I haven’t decided to do any film as of now. I want to spend time with my family right now. I’m feeling good about it because that’s what I want to do right now. I’ll do a film when I’m emotionally ready, for sure,” he said. Aamir went on to say that it will probably take him a year and a half to announce something later because right now, he just wants to prioritize family over career.

Aamir was last seen making a cameo in Kajol starrer ‘Salaam Venky’. His film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, released in August last year, was a big failure at the Box Office. The mock received mixed reviews, but it was also affected by the boycott trend on social media.

There were many unconfirmed reports had emerged about Aamir’s next film. It was said that he will star in a South star’s movie. Another set of rumors stated that Aamir will star in a remake of the 2018 Spanish blockbuster ‘Campeones’ (English translation: Champions). But all these were just rumors.

Pushpa 2 artists met with a bus accident

It is very well known to everyone that Icon Star Allu Arjun is currently working on Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar. The film is being shot at a brisk pace. So far, two schedules of shooting have been completed, and the third schedule was also completed as per the reports. However, an unfortunate incident has happened to the artists of Pushpa 2. Pushpa unit was returning with a few artistes after completing the shoot when the bus met with a road accident.

It is being reported that the accident took place in the early hours of Wednesday. Many of the artistes who have acted in the film were returning to Hyderabad on a private bus after completing the shooting. An RTC bus parked on the outskirts of Narkatpally on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway was hit by a private bus coming from behind.

Two of the artistes on the bus sustained serious injuries and several others sustained minor injuries in the accident. The injured artists were rushed to a nearby hospital. Traffic on the highway came to a brief halt due to the accident. On receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and cleared the traffic. Police are now investigating the accident.

Pushpa 2 also features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahad Faasil who will continue in their roles from the first part. Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sunil, and Jagadeesh will also appear in the same roles from the first outing in this movie, while Jagapathi will be the new addition. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of this film.

Mythri Movie Makers, one of the biggest production houses of the Telugu Film Industry, are producing this most hyped sequel, which is being directed by Sukumar on a large scale. The film will transcend the boundaries and will have an international backdrop where Allu Arjun’s character will be pitted against all odds.

He further revealed that Abhiram injured his knees after he asked him to climb the hill with a mud covered body, carrying 20 guns on one shoulder and the heroine on the other. Abhiram was hospitalized for four months and even after that he was forced to carry 50 kilos after he recovered and told to send video evidence of him daily doing so.

Teja stressed that it was Abhiram’s sincerity that worked there, but not his family background or anything else. Teja says that is the reason he made Ahimsa with Abhiram. However, the words of Teja have made the netizens a bit shocked that what was the need for making Abhiram to go through such physical hardship. While some netizens say that Teja might have exaggerated the real events to praise Abhiram.
