With all of their recent releases becoming big failures, the Akkineni Heroes are taking a big break from shootings. After The Ghost movie, Nagarjuna is yet to announce his next film. After Agent Akhil also did not confirm any new project and looks like he will be taking much more time to fix his next.

Naga Chaitanya’s next project is almost confirmed with director Chandoo Mondeti but officially nothing has been announced until now. All these films will take a few months time to go on to the sets.

Akhil Akkineni’s last release, Agent movie was produced under the banners of AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema, Vakkantham Vamsi had written the film’s story. Sakshi Vaidya played the female lead in the Agent movie. Hip Hop Tamizha composed the tunes. Bollywood actor Dino Morea played the antagonist. Urvasi Rautela sizzled in a special song. The film became a big disaster at the box office.

Naga Chaitanya’s previous release, Custody, the film, marked the first-ever collaboration between Hero Naga Chaitanya and Director Venkat Prabhu. The film consisted of a massive star cast such as Arvind Swami, Sarath Kumar, Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, Premji, Vennela Kishore, Sampath Raj and Ramki in crucial roles. Yesterday the government of Telangana issued a new G.O. allowing a ticket hike of Rs 50 in. single screens across the state for the mythological drama Adipurush. Now the Andhra Pradesh government also gave the permission to hike the ticket price by Rs 50. The new G.O. has been released in this regard. Now with this the bookings of Adipurush in the Andhra should begin. However, it looks like the govt has softly turned down the request for special shows of the film.

It is being said that the ticket hikes will apply to both multiplexes and single screens in Andhra Pradesh unlike Telangana, where only the ticket rates of single screens got the hike. The government of Andhra Pradesh has permitted the ticket hike for ten days starting June 16 as per the G.O. Apparently, the ticket fares for Adipurush will be Rs. 236 and Rs 210 in multiplexes and single screens, respectively.

So by going through the G. O, the government has given the permission only for the ticket hike and there is no mention of any special shows. Which means most likely the government has denied the request for special shows from the team of Adipurush.

The filn is carrying massive expectations on its box office performance. Also the film’s worlwide theatrical business has been completed and let’s have a look at the movies business and breakeven details.

Prabhas’s Adipurush business has been done on different terms. The Hindi version and overseas are being released by e producers on their own and they have sold the entire South india rights to others.

In the Telugu states, Adipurush did 150 Crores theatrical business [120Cr NRA, 30 Cr recoverable]. The film has to collect more than 150 Crores share in the Telugu states to become a profitable venture for all the parties involved. From the other South Indian territories the film has to collect 25 Crores share for break even.

The Total breakup of Adipurush’s Worldwide theatrical business and breakeven is as follows.
