A Police complaint filed on Vijay film Leo’s Naa Ready song

A police complaint has been filed about Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film, Leo Movie’s song “Naa Ready”. RTI Selvam, a social activist from Chennai – Korukuppet, has filed an online complaint at the police commissioner’s office seeking action against actor Vijay under the Narcotics Control Act.

The complaint reads, “A song from the upcoming movie Leo starring actor Vijay has been released recently and is being shared a lot on social media. The song’s lyrics, which begin with “A padhatu patil na udika and ready to harvest pokhayala” are advocating drug addiction”.

He also alleged that the lyrics of this song are meant to create rowdyism. He said that recently Chief Minister Stalin said that the Government of Tamil Nadu is conducting various types of awareness programs to prevent drugs in Tamil Nadu, and that legal action will be taken against officials who fail to prevent drugs in Tamil Nadu.

So in a situation like this, “It is unacceptable that actor Vijay is supporting drugs among the youth through the lyrics of this song. Therefore, for the crime of inciting the youth to use drugs, the actor Vijay and the people who wrote the song should be booked under the Narcotics Control Act and action should be taken” reads the complaint. He also mentioned in the complaint that he is going to file a petition through the court this morning.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo has a list of the big star cast besides Vijay and Trisha, among which Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Madonna Sebastian, Gautham Menon, Mathew Thomass, Mansoor Ali Khan and Sandy. The film is surrounded by massive expectations not only from Tamil but also the Telugu audience. Leo will hit screens on October 19th.

Malayalam star Prithviraj met with an accident while shooting

Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran met with an accident and sustained leg injury while shooting for his upcoming film ‘Vilayath Buddha’. The shoot was taking place in Marayoor, Kerala on Sunday. The actor was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Kochi for further treatment where he has been advised bed rest for the next couple of months.

Prithviraj was shooting for an action sequence when the accident occurred leading to his leg injury. He will undergo a keyhole surgery at a private hospital in Kochi and is expected to take complete rest for 2-3 months.

Apart from ‘Vilayath Buddha’ the Mollywood star has films like ‘Aadujeevitham’, ‘Salaar‘, and ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ which are in the filming stages. The news of Prithviraj’s accident quickly went viral on social media, with fans and well-wishers praying for his speedy recovery. While the accident is a minor one, it will keep the actor away from work for a couple of months at least and this means that films like Salaar might get impacted.

“These allegations are affecting my future. The future of my children and the dignity of my family will be lost. I have nothing to do with it. I request you not to circulate rumors,” Surekha Vani said in the video.

I have nothing to do with the drug case as it has come out in the news. I’m ready for any kind of inquiry. If required, we are also ready for a narcotic test. They say I made hundreds of calls. I asked them about their family’s well-being and nothing else.

Moreover, I have not deleted any data from my phone. Even If it is deleted, it can be retrieved, right? The police can do that anyway. I’ll give my two phones to the police. Samajavaragamana early premiers in selected screens on tomorrow

Sree Vishnu’s upcoming film is Samajavaragamana. Touted to be a perfect family entertainer, the film is all set to be released in theaters on June 29th. As a part of promotions and to get positive talk much before the actual release date, the makers are planning early premier shows for the film tomorrow in selected theaters across the Telugu states.

The team of Samajavaragamana took to their official Twitter account and disclosed the details of theaters and Show timings of the film. They have named the early premier shows as first family premiers, as they are the target audiences of the film. This also shows how confident they are about the content of the movie.

Directed by Ram Abbaraju of Vivaha Bhojanambu fame, the film’s teaser and first two songs received positive response.
