Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal postponed the release date

Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, one of the most awaited films of the year, is said to be postponed according to the latest reports. The makers had officially announced that Animal will be released on August 11th along with Akshay Kumar’s Oh My God 2 and Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2. The pre-teaser of Animal which was released recently, got a terrific response from all over.

The film is having a superb buzz in the Telugu states too also because Sandeep Vanga Reddy is the director and he has gained a good amount of craze with his debut film Arjun Reddy. The film, Animal was planned to be released on 11th August during the Independence Weekend, but now it is being reported that it is postponed and will be released at the year-end.

Earlier, a behind-the-scenes photo from the sets of Animal became viral on the Internet. In the picture, we can see Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol in matching hats and wearing fairly similar beards to each other. If the actors were not wearing different colored shirts (Ranbir in a gray shirt and Bobby in a black one), it would have been rather difficult to differentiate them. “Ranbir Kapoor with Bobby Deol on the sets of Animal,” read the caption.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Animal also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri in the important roles.

Suriya’s high-budget pan India film postponed to Summer 2024

Suriya’s upcoming high-budget Pan India film Kanguva, which had created a wonderful buzz in the trade circles and industry with its excellent title reveal video, has reportedly postponed its release date. The release video featured exceptional CGI and gripping visuals, making it one of the finest title reveals in recent times. Siva, who is known for his commercial mass entertainers, had surprised everybody with his ability to produce such a quality content within a short time.

The film was initially planned for January 2024 release during the Republic Day weekend. However, now the inside reports strongly suggest that the movie has been postponed to summer as the movie’s shooting schedules are taking more time than planned as big sets and big number of cast are involved. The film is expected to be released in Summer 2024. The makers are taking care of every small thing of this prestigious project.

There is also a heavy anticipation for this pan India project in trade circles. Kanguav’s digital rights have been acquired by Prime Video for a whopping 80 Crores, which is also excluding the Hindi language. The producer of the movie KE Gnanavel Raja had officially revealed that the South Indian Digital Rights of Kanguva have been sold for a whopping amount of RS 80 Crores. It is the biggest deal for a Tamil movie on Prime. Overall, it will be the 2nd biggest deal in Tamil movies after Vijay’s Leo, which was bought by Netflix.

Director Siva had revealed in an interview that Suriya’s Kanguva is set in an entirely new world and will give the audience an experience like never before. The movie will be loaded with heavy VFX work and if the release video was any indication, then we are in for a treat. The movie’s 2D and 3D versions will simultaneously release in all languages. Kanguva is a pan-India project, and Siva and the team are putting all of their efforts to make it as big as possible.

Produced by Gnanavel Raja on Studio Green banner, Disha Patani is the female lead of the film and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the film’s music. Kanguva, the high-budget film, is slated to be released in 10 languages.

Prabhas’s Adipurush, which was in the news since its theatrical release two weeks ago, has been leaked online. The Tamil HD version of Adipurush leaked online, and the netizens are now busy in posting the scenes of the movie online. As the title suggests Hanuman, the film has a Lord Hanuman connection and as many as 1600 VFX shots. Pawan Kalyan’s cult romantic drama Tholi Prema was the latest film to join the re-release club earlier this week. The demand for this film’s re-release has been on for almost a year by not just Powerstar fans but the general audience as well. Tholi Prema is a bouquet of emotions and there is something for everyone in this film. Fans were eager to experience the nostalgia and vintage Pawan Kalyan but the experience has turned out to be anti-climactic.

Tholi Prema is a cult movie in Pawan Kalyan’s career. However, the film has not been promoted as expected since the movie was bought by 3rd party who couldn’t do justice to the movie’s following, the re-release has turned out to be a dampener.

The movie was released on a limited number of screens and there was little demand due to the lesser number of shows. While Pawan Kalyan fans thronged to the screening wherever possible, a larger re-release would have ensured a huge success for this event. In comparison, the Ee Nagaraniki Emaindhi re-release which also happened recently, got way bigger openings than this Pawan Kalyan and Keerthy Reddy starrer. Spy Is A Huge Setback Film For Nikhil; Heading Towards A Big Failure

Nikhil’s much-anticipated action thriller Spy was released on June 29th in theatres and opened to largely negative reviews. The film managed to pull the audiences into the theatres on the opening day but failed to create good word of mouth. Read our review of Spy here.

After Nikhil’s humungous success with Karthikeya 2, not only in the Telugu states but also in the North belts, everyone felt that Spy has a great chance to emulate the success of Karthikeya 2.

This is because, much like Karthikeya 2, even Spy had a strong patriotical connection. The movie was promoted as the search to uncover ‘India’s Best Kept Secret’, Subhash Chandra Bose.

But when audiences went to watch the movie, they felt cheated. As the story and content were very different from the promotional campaign. As a result, it was unable to engage and interest the audiences.

Now, the movie is heading toward a big failure in all languages, and mainly in Hindi, it has failed to create any dent at the box office. It has opened well in Telugu but the numbers are quickly dwindling, with a huge drop on Friday. It looks like Spy is another lost opportunity for Nikhil and a movie heading toward failure.
