Producer Dil Raju’s name will always be in the news, irrespective of his movies being released or not. He is coming up with Nithiin’s Thammudu, and during its promotions, he said that the Allu Arjun–Prashanth Neel film is locked in his banner.

The renowned exhibitor and filmmaker is trying to get updated with the trend, and he has also started the “Dil Raju Dreams” platform to push boundaries and encourage new filmmakers.

Raavanam – A big-budget film with Allu Arjun and Prashanth Neel Combo

As said above, he brings Nithiin’s Thammudu, which is set to be released this Friday, and the film is made with a huge budget of 75 Cr. During one of the interviews, Dil Raju stated that the Allu Arjun–Prashanth Neel film is locked in his banner.

The project’s title is Raavanam, and it will be directed by KGF Series and Salaar fame Prashanth Neel with Allu Arjun as the lead.

Raju said that the film will surely happen in his banner, but it will take time as the production house is preoccupied with multiple projects.

Another Blow to Dil Raju: Is War 2 a Warning?

In a surprising development, the Telugu distribution space is witnessing a shift, as Sitara Entertainments, which has consistently collaborated with Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC) for Nizam distribution, is now reportedly in final talks with Mythri Movie Makers to handle the Nizam rights for the much-anticipated film “War 2.” Sources suggest the deal is nearly closed.

Traditionally, Sitara and SVC have had a strong association in the Nizam area, with almost every major Sitara release being distributed through Dil Raju’s network. Even during the recent Sankranti season, despite Sitara’s own film “Daaku Maharaj” competing with SVC’s “Game Changer” and “Sankranthiki Vasthunam,” Nizam rights still went to SVC highlighting the mutual respect and trust.

This time, however, the situation appears different. The shift is not linked to Asian Cinemas or any external pressure, but seems to stem from internal strategic reasons. If the deal with Mythri is finalized, it could mark a significant change in the business dynamics between Sitara and SVC.

With Sitara continuously handling big-ticket projects, this move could be a setback for SVC, signaling a potential reshuffle in long-standing industry alliances. The reason behind this shift remains speculative but certainly raises eyebrows.

Dil Raju Reacts to Sirish’s Game Changer Comments

Producer Dil Raju has stepped forward to clear the controversy between mega fans and his brother and co-producer Shirish. In a recent interview Shirish’s statement about the Game Changer movie offended Mega fans. Dil Raju stated that Shirish’s comments were misunderstood and taken out of context, leading to unnecessary backlash from fans.

“Shirish never intended to blame Ram Charan or director Shankar. What he meant was purely emotional — during tough times, a word of encouragement always helps. Unfortunately, the way the anchor framed the questions led to a misinterpretation of his words,” said Dil Raju.

He further emphasized that Ram Charan was a key reason their upcoming film could target a Sankranti release, and he continues to hold immense respect and gratitude toward the actor. “Ram Charan stood by us even after delivering a global success like RRR. He never walked away from Game Changer. We, as producers, feel responsible for how things turned out and are committed to working again with him,” he added.

Dil Raju concluded by urging fans not to misread the situation and reiterated that there is no rift between the production team and the mega hero.

“The film bombed at the box office. We believed we were done for after the loss, but Sankranthi Vastunam brought us a new beginning.” Everything happened in four days. We never thought our lives would be the same without Sankranthi Vasthunam. Following the release of Game Changer, neither the actor nor the director stepped in to help us.”

When the interviewer brought up the hero’s name, Shirish said, “Ram Charan didn’t even bother to give us a call out of courtesy. I don’t blame anybody for a decision we made,” he added.

Now, during the promotions of their upcoming film, Thammudu, producers Dil Raju and his brother Sirish spoke about their sufferings because of GC. Dil Raju stated that he feels bad for giving a big flop to Charan and will make it up by delivering another hit with him.

Ram Charan fans release a letter after Sirish’s Statement

However, Raju’s brother and producer, Sirish, said in an interview that Ram Charan did not call them for courtesy after the release of Game Changer. This angered Charan’s fans.

Following this, they released a statement on social media as a warning to the producers. The official letter is now being shared by many as Ram Charan fans fire back at the SVC team.

In the letter, the fans of the RRR actor mentioned Mahesh Babu’s 1 Nenokkadine, Venkatesh’s Saindhav, and a few flop movies in the Mythri Movie Makers production house.

Charan fans say that while the other producers keep quiet when they face failures, their hero’s film, Game Changer, is being discussed by the producers in every press meet or interview.

They gave an ultimatum to the producers of the film to not speak ill about the movie or Ram Charan; if not, they will have to face serious consequences.

However, by releasing such a letter, Ram Charan fans have unnecessarily poked other heroes’ fans. Already, a few Venkatesh fans are condemning the mention of their favorite hero and his movie in the letter.
