Rangasthalam advance bookings are trending better than KGF series in Japan

Japan country has become a newly attractive market for Indian films, as evidenced by the recent success of the global blockbuster RRR. The action epic made by SS Rajamouli was released in Japan in October 2022, and the film’s release got a superb response. RRR went on to smash the box office records previously set by Indian films like Muthu, Baahubali 2 in Japan during its theatrical run in Japan alone. The film was able to generate over RS 100 crores. Now Ram Charan’s another blockbuster, Rangasthalam is getting ready to be released in Japan.

Along with Rangasthalam, Prashanth Neel and Yash’s KGF part 1, part 2 are also releasing in Japan on this Friday. Surprisingly, Rangasthalam movie’s advance bookings are trending higher than KGF 1 and KGF 2.

This has come as a shocker, as many thought the KGF Series will have a greater hype than Rangasthalam. It can be said that the brand of being a hero in the globally acclaimed film RRR seems to be working so well for Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam

Rangasthalam, directed by Sukumar, will be released in Japan on July 14, 2023. The entertainment business Space Box, which has already displayed Indian films like Ponniyin Selvan 1&2, Kantara, Waltair Veerayya, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and many other movies in Japan, will be releasing Rangasthalam as well.

The makers of the upcoming film Kushi, featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, released the second single from the film, Aradhya. As the promo promised, it is a magical love number between the leads after Marriage. The song is getting quite a good response from the fans on social media, but a section of them, especially Mahesh Kumar are trolling actress Samantha because of her old statement which she seems to forgot now according to them.

Aradhya the new song from Kushi captures the essence of a newly married couple. It beautifully enhances their love moments, highlighting their connection. However, if we observe the pictures in the lyrical video song, we can see Vijay Deverakonda putting his leg on Samantha’s shoulder, which has made the netizens become angry at Samantha. The reason being an old tweet from Samantha.

Back in 2014, when Mahesh Babu’s Nenokkadine film was about to be released, a new poster was out as a part of promotions. Samantha took to her Twitter account and told indirectly that the poster looks regressive as in the poster heroine Kriti Sanon puts her hand around Mahesh’s feet. Samantha’s tweet had became the reason for a big controversy and since then, Mahesh fans always tried to find reasons to troll her.

PVR Cinemas decreases food and beverages cost with audience feedback

On Tuesday, the Goods and Services Tax or GST Council decided to reduce food and beverage tax rates sold in cinema halls, saying it will help in the revival of the theater business Post-Covid and avoid litigation. The Council, headed by the Union finance minister and consisting of representatives of all states and UT’s, on Tuesday decided to lower the service tax levied on food and beverages consumed in cinema halls to 5% from 18%.

Seeing this news, many netizens and moviegoers thought that the Food and Beverages prices in the multiplex chains like PVR Cinemas will come down a bit. However, it seemed that the multiplexes did not change their cost of F&B according to the new rule and one of the netizens who went to a movie on one of the PVR’s Screen took to his Twitter account to complain about the cost of food and beverage.

That netizen said that it took a total of Rs 820 for him to buy a popcorn tub and a Pepsi, which is almost equal to a yearly subscription of Amazon Prime Video. He then stated, no wonder people do not go to cinemas anymore.

Surprisingly, the twitter handle of PVR Cinemas responded to the feedback and stated they believe that every opinion matters, and it must be respected. Which is why they gave an update for every moviegoer in India which shows the biggest multiplex chain in India has decreased its cost of food and beverage The netizens felt It was really a welcoming change from PVR Cinemas.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth is all set to make a comeback as a Director with ‘Lal Salaam’. In May, the producers released the first-look poster of superstar Rajinikanth’s character from the May film. As previously reported, Rajinikanth will appear in his daughter’s upcoming directorial venture in a guest role. The superstar will be playing the character named Moideen Bhai in the film. Now, the superstar has wrapped his shooting part of the film.

Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth shared a picture with her father Rajinikanth and the team of ‘Lal Salaam’. The caption to her post read, “Making a movie with you is a miracle, and you are pure magic, appa.. Lal Salaam moideen Bhai and it’s a wrap for THE SUPERSTAR (in the original).”

Aishwarya Rajinikanth takes over the director’s seat after nearly 5 years with Lal Salaam. The film features Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles. Aishwaryaa’s father and superstar Rajinikanth will make an extended appearance in the movie.

Mythri Movie Makers is entering into Malayalam cinema with a blockbuster combination. Starring Tovino Thomas and Soubin Shahir in the lead roles. The film is titled ‘Nadikar Thilakam’ and the film’s first look was unveiled in January this year. Recently, the movie’s launch ceremony was held.

After a massive successful film like 2018, Tovino Thomas will be doing his next film with Driving Licence director Lal Jr. The ‘Nadikar Thilakam’ movie was launched formally on July 11 and all the cast and crew were present on the occasion. The movie stars Tovino as superstar David Padikkal and Soubin Shahir plays a character named Bala. The photos of the Pooja went viral on social media. Tovino had tweeted a few days back that the movie would be launched on July 11.

Suvin Somasekharan has provided the script and Lal Jr will be handling the direction department. The cinematography will be handled by Albie while the film will have its music composed by Yakzan Gary Pereira and Neha Nair. The film also features Veena Nandakumar, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Anoop Menon, Shine Tom Chacko, Sreenath Bhasi, Lal and Madhupal in supporting roles.
