Jailer heading towards sensational blockbuster

After a sensational opening day, Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer has extended its super strong hold for day 2 across all territories. After 2 days the movie has collected around Rs 150Cr gross and is set to achieve the break-even mark in maximum territories by the weekend itself. Pretty soon, the film will achieve the entire TN breakeven by 1st week. This is a sensational start by Jailer.

At this pace, and with such positive talk, the film is expected to collect a minimum of Rs 400Cr gross in full run. In Telugu states on Day 2, the movie held its fort super strong and collected Rs 2.5Cr share despite Bhola Shankar’s release. The two days share is now Rs 9.5Cr and Jailer will achieve the breakeven mark of Rs 12Cr by today itself.

Directed by Nelson Dileepkumar who has earlier directed projects like Vijay’s Beast and Sivakarthikeyan’s Doctor, this Rajini starrer has received significant interest from the audience thanks to its exciting trailer and a loaded star cast consisting of Mohanlal, Ramya Krishna, and Shiva Rajkumar.

Rajinikanth mesmerized everyone with his extraordinary screen presence and action episodes. Nelson has achieved a solid comeback after Beast while Anirudh’s BGM stood as one of the major highlights of the film.

The film’s title is not yet out officially, but a title called Raja Deluxe was publicized all these days. Now it is being reported that the team wants to change the title of the film. Another title, Vintage King, is in consideration for Prabhas Maruthi’s film.

Maruthi previously directed films like Mahanbhavudu, Prema Katha Chitram, Pakka Commercial, and web series like 3 Roses. The fans of Prabhas were not at all happy with their favorite hero working with a small director like Maruthi. Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s Guntur Kaaram has gone through many changes in its cast and crew. The film’s lead actress Pooja Hegde was replaced by Sree Leela who was supposed to play the second female lead. The camera man of the film was also changed. Now this massy entertainer has another change in its crew.

The movie shooting started with an action episode under the guidance of KGF fight master Anbariv, but the team was not satisfied with the output and changed the fight masters to Ram Lakshman and planned all the action episodes with him. Now the inside sources claim that the team is changing fight masters for the next shooting part. The reason is unknown yet, but the dates issue might also be the reason.

Earlier, Guntur Kaaram was planned for January 13th release but as there are reports of Prabhas’s Project K being out of the Sankranti release, the makers are keen on Guntur Kaaram releasing a day earlier and now hitting the screens on Jan 12th. Another Sankranti release is supposedly Chiranjeevi- Kalyan Krishna’s film which is planned for Jan 13 Release next year.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Guntur Kaaram marks the third collaboration between him and Superstar Mahesh Babu after Athadu and Khaleja. The project is being produced under the Haarika and Hassine Creations banner. The film also stars Sreeleela and Meenakshi Choudhary who will be sharing the screen with Mahesh for the first time.

Rajini fans are delighted with the way director Nelson Dilipkumar has shown their favorite hero. Apart from Rajini, Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar and Malayalam star hero Mohanlal were also be seen in crucial guest appearances in the film.

Both the cameos were very well received by the audiences and no such star appearance from Telugu was seen in the film. But the director, Nelson, in an interview that his team wanted to rope in Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna for a short yet powerful role of a badass cop. However, the character arc was not done properly, so he had to let the idea gone. These comments from Nelson have shaken the internet now.

The fans of Balayya are thinking what if the proposed role was set and Nandamuri Balakrishna did it, it would have been wonderful.
