Superstar Rajinikanth has made a roaring comeback with his latest film, Jailer. Post the debacle of his last project Annaatthe, the monstrous success of this action entertainer has given a massive boost to Superstar fans, with the film registering record collections in multiple centers. Jailer has crossed 500Cr worldwide, while it crosses another benchmark in Telugu states.

The film has crossed the 40Cr share mark in the Telugu states, and it is the second film of Rajinikanth to cross share and for overall Tamil dubbed films in Telugu states as well. Only 2 Point 0 and Jailer have crossed the 40Cr share mark in Telugu states in Tamil dubbed movies. The movie’s rights were bought for 13Cr, and it collected 40Cr, which share makes it a big jackpot for the buyers.

Directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar who has earlier directed projects like Vijay’s Beast and Siva Karthikeyan’s Doctor, this Rajini starrer had a good pre-release buzz among the audience thanks to its exciting trailer and a loaded star cast consisting of Mohanlal, Ramya Krishna, and Shiva Rajkumar.

Manchu Manoj dropped a poster of his upcoming pan-India film titled ‘Aham Brahmasmi’. But the project was shelved without any development. Manchu Manoj has been away from films for the past five years, as said above. A few months back, he announced a new film called ‘What the Fish’ at a time when everyone he thought he had stopped films.

The title and poster had created good buzz about the film. The audiences were impressed with the glimpse, and they were waiting to see Manchu Manoj back on screen. Today, Manchu Manoj took to his official Twitter account and informed that he is coming back to Cinema.

He shared a photo of him standing in front of the camera on Twitter. Varun is making his directorial debut with this film. Manoj will be seen in a character which has good and bad variations. Vishal Bezwada and Surya Bezwada are jointly producing the film, while Shakti Kanth Karthik is composing the music. The makers are planning to finish the shooting as soon as possible and release the film in the first half of next year. Apart from this, Manchu Manoj is also doing a film under the banner of LS Productions. Bhaskar Bantupalli is directing the film.

After tasting massive success with ‘Karthikeya 2’, young director Chandoo Mondeti is planning to make a socio fantasy film with Kollywood Star Suriya in the lead role. Reportedly, the film will be based on the renowned Vedas to generate awareness on spiritual matters among the young audiences.

Chandoo’s next film has already started pre-production work. It will star Naga Chaitanya, which will be made as a story of fishermen. The director talked about his film with Naga Chaitanya, Suriya and his interaction with Bollywood actors like Hrithik Roshan and Kartik Aryan.

He said that talking to Suriya sir is always great because he is both encouraging and friendly. “I was in awe when Suriya spoke about my film ‘Karthikeya 2’ by vividly recalling various shots from the film. Every meeting with him has been a source of great enrichment for me” said Chandoo Mondeti. He also stated that he is planning a film about four Vedas – Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and Atharvaveda – with Suriya and it would be a socio-fantasy kind of movie and both are quite excited about it.

Despite being occupied for another one and a half to two years with multiple projects, Suriya calls him to check on the progress in the script, which is quite spectacular according to the director Chandoo. More details about this film will be revealed in. near future.

Director Shankar has been working on the post-production work of ‘Indian 2’ and has also traveled to the USA for an important operation recently. As the footage of the film became very lengthy, which surpasses 5 hours, The team has planned to divide it into two parts and release as Indian 2 and Indian. After the Baahubali series achieved pan India success, many movies from Tollywood have worked well in the Hindi market. From Kannada Cinema, KGF Series and Kantara films worked so big in Hindi and especially KGF 2, went on to become the all-time second-highest grosser in Hindi Cinema. However, the same cannot be said with Kollywood, the Tamil Cinema.

Tamil movies are failing to capture the Hindi market. Excluding Rajinikanth and Shankar’s 2 Point 0, no Tamil movie has been able to post great numbers in the North. The film had an advantage of casting Bollywood star actor Akshay Kumar.

The depressing thing as that the Tamil film industry wants to take the lead or enter the 1000Cr club at the box office, but without the support from North market no movie can enter the 1000Cr club. If we compare regionally, Tamil Cinema is bigger than Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, but they are yet to deliver a 1000Cr film.

Vijay Deverakonda is currently in the midst of promoting his upcoming movie Kushi, which is a pan-Indian romantic drama. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is the leading actress in this movie directed by Shiva Nirvana, which is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 1, 2023. During the promotions, Vijay Deverakonda said that failures will not affect superstars like Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth. However, his comments were mistaken by Rajini fans at first, but later the misconception got cleared.

While promoting Kushi in Tamil Nadu, a journalist asked Chiranjeevi negatively. Vijay Deverakonda took advantage of the opportunity to answer the question in a polite manner. He stated that Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi are beyond hits and flops. “Rajinikanth sir, can give 5-6 back-to-back flops, but will come back with a blockbuster like Jailer. We have to shut up and watch.”

Talking about Chiranjeevi, he affirmed that a star like Chiranjeevi might get 6–7 flops back to back, but if the right director meets his energy, he will come back with a sensation just like he did this Sankranthi with Waltair Veeeryya.

“Chiru sir changed the industry. When he came, the kind of action that was there, the kind of dance that was there, and the kind of performance that was there, all changed entirely. He inspired many people to enter the industry,” said Vijay Deverakonda.

He emphasized that people should not judge them for their successes and failures. Not only that, but he added that they deserve recognition for creating an ecosystem that allows everyone to enjoy their movies and inspires the younger generation to enter the industry.

“I feel disrespectful when people comment on senior actors. They are legends, and we need to respect them. It’s heartening to see Kamal sir back with Vikram and Rajini sir, with Jailer.”

Though his comments were taken wrongly for a while, after the full video was out everything was clear. The way he answered the question won the hearts of millions, including Chiru fans. Vijay Deverakonda is being praised by everyone for his respect towards the senior actors.

However, the director of the film was not officially confirmed by the makers.

Mega156 will be produced on a massive scale by Sushmita Konidela, the daughter of Chiranjeevi, and she has been working as a stylist for him since his comeback movie Khaidi No 150. Mega156 will be made under the banner of Gold Box Entertainments. They will announce the film’s director soon.

It will be the 157th film of Chiranjeevi, and will go on to the floors after Mega156 which is supposed to be directed by Kalyan Krishna.
