Telugu distributors want Salaar to be released during Sankranthi Festival

Everyone was shocked by the postponement of Prabhas’ Salaar and disappointed the fans of Rebel Star who were hoping for a roaring comeback after a series of failures. Multiple speculations have been made about the new release date after the postponement news was out. It is said that there are various release dates that are being suggested by various sources and industries, such as November 1st week, November last week, Christmas, and Sankranthi. However, the Telugu distributors want Salaar to be released during Sankranthi Festival.

The makers of Salaar have asked distributors from all industries for their opinions regarding the release date. While it is unclear that what was the suggestion of distributors from other industries, but as per the reports the Telugu distributors opined that only the Sankranthi season can handle the film’s massive business. The official release date from the makers is expected to be announced very soon.

According to reports, the makers have made up their minds to schedule the new release date after considering various factors and releases in all languages. An official announcement is expected to be made either on September 7th. The entire Indian film industry is eagerly anticipating an official release date.

Salaar’s postponement has resulted in a significant opportunity for movies in the industry. Ram’s Skanda and four Tamil films are attempting to push their movies to the Salaar release date. Jawan sold over 1 Million tickets on Book My Show

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is just another day away from its worldwide release, and it has already begun breaking many records even before the release. The film has sold over 1 Million tickets on Book My Show. The bookings have opened a few days back and the film already sold well over 1 Million tickets on the most used ticketing app until now, which is a colossal record and indicates that the film registered fantastic bookings. Jawan has also registered wonderful ticket sales in the National Chains.

As of Tuesday, at 10 PM, Jawan has sold 3,58,500 tickets in the three national chains – PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. PVR INOX holds the lead with 2,95,000 tickets, while Cinepolis follows with 63,500 tickets. Jawan has taken the 5th spot in the top advance booking of all time in the national chains and is now aiming to make it to the top 3.

Jawan will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam along with Hindi. Anirudh Ravichander is composing music for the film. The film has already done a 250 crore non-theatrical business, that is including digital, satellite, and music rights. And not only this, the film has done record business theatrically in all areas.

When Vijay Deverakonda announced that he will be donating a 1 Crore amount to a hundred families as 1 Lakh Rupees to each one of them, nobody believed him and some even stated it was a mere publicity stunt. But the actor kept his word and started the process of donating one crore.

“I wanted to share my success and happiness with you. So decided to share 1 crore from my Kushi earnings with you. 100 families will be given 1 lac each! Apply below. It would make me happy if it really helped someone” posted Vijay on his official Twitter Account.

Vijay announced on stage that he will donate Rs 1 crore to his fans to celebrate Kushi’s success at a promotional event in Visakhapatnam on Monday night. Deverakonda stated that he would select hundreds of families through online forms and donate Rs 1 lakh each to them to spread joy. A video of the announcement was circulated on social media.

Vijay went on to say, “You are happy, so am I. To celebrate it, I am planning to do something and I don’t know if it’s right or wrong. If I don’t, I won’t be able to sleep. I will give away Rs 1 crore from my earnings… from Kushi. I will select a hundred families and I will give them one lakh each before the success meeting of the film, which is set to happen in 10 days. If I can’t share my happiness with you, it’s a waste. The Siva Karthikeyan starrer ‘Ayalaan’, a science-fiction which is directed by Ravikumar is one of the most awaited films from the Tamil film industry. The makers had earlier officially announced that the film will have its worldwide release for the Diwali 2023 festive occasion. However, the inside reports strongly suggest that Ayalaan, the film, has postponed the release date again.
