The same has happened with the upcoming big budget film, Game Changer, which is coming in the combination of Ram Charan and Shankar. Recently, a song from the film was leaked online and though it was trolled at first, the song is now likely to become an Instant Chart buster.

When the song was leaked everyone criticized Thaman including fans that the song does not look like a big film’s song and especially the unanimous response to it was the song was not in the range of Shankar.

But day by day the song is receiving positive response from audience as the talk is completely turned now. The team already mentioned it was just a basic version, but now it already got the hype as a full proper song in the audience. Everyone now wants to see how Shankar had pictured this. It looks like the song will be an instant chart buster when the song gets released officially.

Coming to the release date of Game Changer, it was reported that Game Changer will be out on the Independence weekend 2024, but now the latest news is even the makers of Indian 2 want to release their film for independence weekend which will make Game Changer moved to 2024 end release. It is still unclear when this dilemma over the release date of Game Changer will change.

Skanda theatrical business is not closed yet

With just 8 days of release, the business deals are not closed for Skanda yet. The primary reason for this delay is that makers are quoting higher prices and right now distributors are not coming forward to take this risk

For Andhra [6 Territories], makers quoted Rs 25Cr a few months ago and the distributors showed little interest back then. Now, with the delays, everything changed. Along with this, the audio did not work as well leading to a lack of interest.

With no distributors coming forward, the makers changed the ratio from Rs 25Cr to Rs 22Cr and still the buyers are not showing much initiative. They are offering a Rs 16 Cr ratio. Just like Andhra, similar negotiations are happening in other territories too.

Directed by Boyapati Srinu and starring Ram and Sree Leela in the lead roles, Skanda also stars Srikanth, Gauthami, Saiee Manjarekar among others. SS Thaman has composed the music while Srinivasaa Chitturi has produced this action entertainer on a massive budget under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. Skanda is set to hit the screens worldwide in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi

Salaar makers inform the distributors on the release date

The postponement of Prabhas’ Salaar has brought great disappointment to not just Prabhas’ fans but the entire industry including the trade circles. The distributors who bought the movie for record rates were hoping to make good profits with the movie considering the weekend followed by the Gandhi Jayanti holiday that followed.

Such was the date’s benefit that a number of films that earlier were avoiding the clash with Salaar and were set to release in early September or mid-October moved their release to 28th September.

Now with the movie postponed, the crucial date has gone out of their hands. According to reports, the makers are focussing on a similarly good date. If these reports are to be believed, Salaar won’t be released this year. The distributors have been informed by Hombale Films that Salaar is now aiming for a release in Summer 2024.

This means that the fans will now have to wait for a lot longer to catch Prabhas in an out-and-out mass role in Prashanth Neel’s direction. Salaar is another pan-India biggie from Prabhas and also stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in key roles. Hombale Films is backing this prestigious Prashanth Neel film which will see a combination of Brand Baahubali and Brand KGF- two of the biggest blockbuster film franchises in Indian cinema history.

Navdeep faces a major setback from the High Court in Drug Case

The high court was hearing a petition filed by actor Navdeep in the drugs case on Wednesday. The actor faced a major setback as the High Court dismissed his petition. The police told the high court that Navdeep had drug cases against him in the past as well. Navdeep’s lawyer Siddharth, however, mentioned to the court that Navdeep was not an accused in the drug cases that happened in the past. It was brought to the notice of the court that Navdeep had appeared before the investigating agencies in the past as well.

Navdeep’s lawyer informed the court that he had nothing to do with the Madhapur drugs case. However, the court dismissed Navdeep’s plea, and it directed the police to give notice to him under Section 41A of the Indian Penal Code in the case. The high court also directed the police not to arrest Navdeep and to issue 41 CRPC notices and interrogate him.

The police had recently arrested some people at a drug party held at the Press Living Apartment in Madhapur. A man named Ramachandra who is said to be a friend of Navdeep said to police that the latter had taken drugs with him. The Anti-Narcotics Bureau officials had earlier issued notices to Navdeep and asked him to appear for questioning. Navdeep has been named A29 in the case. Navdeep said he would respond to the notices and come for questioning. Navdeep then approached the high court.

Navdeep had filed a petition in the Telangana High Court seeking a direction not to arrest him as he had nothing to do with the case. The court directed the police not to arrest Navdeep until The 19th of this month. Navdeep’s case was heard in the high court once again after the expiry of the deadline given by the high court. Navdeep’s petition was dismissed by the High Court. The high court, however, directed the police not to arrest him and to issue 41 CRPC notices and interrogate him.
