Nani’s Hi Nanna in plans to prepone the release date

If the inside reports are to be believed, Hi Nanna the upcoming film of Natural Star Nani is in plans to prepone the release date. As Prabhas’s Salaar is coming on Christmas and Sankranthi season already being packed with multiple releases, the team of Hi Nanna is in plans to release the film on December 1st week. The team is likely to announce the release date officially once Salaar’s date comes out.

The movie’s team has already started the promotions and the 1st single clicked well and post-production works also will be easily completed before the expected time, so there will be no burden for them to prepone the release.

The team unveiled the first single, Samayama, as part of the musical promotion for Nani’s Hi Nanna recently. This soothing melody by music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab was a pleasant listening experience. The lyrics written by Anantha Sriram were both beautiful and meaningful.

The beauty of the song was enhanced by Anurag Kulkarni and Sithara Krishnakumar’s delightful vocals. The lyrical video’s design is not just about the lyrics and music, but also about the attractiveness of the visuals. Nani and Mrunal Thakur’s pair was excellent, and the visuals were extremely cool. In the end, the song hit the right note and it has already topped the playlists.

Shruti Haasan and Kiara Khanna play crucial roles in the film. Hi Nanna is being produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala under Vyra Entertainments. The film is directed by debutant Shouryuv.

Dilemma continues for Indian 2, as the team is considering two parts again

The collaboration between Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and the maverick director Shankar on ‘Indian 2’ is well-known, and it will follow the duo’s two-decade-old blockbuster. The actor will return to portray the iconic ‘Senapathi’ character, the freedom fighter and vigilante hunted by authorities. The film has been the victim of many delays in its filming, but in the recent days it looked like finally the film got back on to the track, but the latest reports suggest that the dilemma still continues for the Indian 2 team is considering advancing the release plans.

From the beginning itself the film, Indian 2, faced enormous hurdles and after Udhayanidhi Stalin’s entry into the movie everyone thought that from here, there will be no hurdles for the film, but Shankar came up with a very lengthy runtime and budget hurdles increased as well.

The Indian 2 film’s footage is said to have come around 6 hours and, as said above, the budget also went very high, so the makers were decided to go for two parts but Kamal Haasan was not happy with the decision, and he convinced the makers to go for one part by involving in editing. After that, the makers were said to be convinced and planned for the Independence Day release.

But now the inside reports propose that the makers are again thinking to releasing the film in two parts and the first part is in plans to be released in Summer 2024.

Indian 2 is touted to be the most expensive film in Kamal Haasan’s career. The star cast also includes Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Samuthirakani, Guru Somasundaram, Priya Bhavani Shankar and others with the late actors Vivek, Nedumudi Venu and Manobala.

Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for Indian 2 with Rathnavelu’s cinematography, Muthuraj’s art direction, and Sreekar Prasad’s editing.

From the Telugu film industry, Dil Raju’s Balagam and Nani’s Dasara were also nominated but finally both movies could not make it. Only one film has to be selected from Indian cinema, and 2018 movie has been chosen for this year. Now the other movies can try from a different nomination like RRR did. They were also not nominated for India’s official entry, and they had promoted the film on their own and won the Oscar.

Jude Anthany Joseph was the director of the film,2018, which features Tovino Thomas, Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Narain and Lal. The Malayalam film was released in May this year was both a critical and box office hit. It is the highest-grossing film of Malayalam Cinema of all time and one of India’s top earners this year.

Girish Kasaravalli, the filmmaker and chairman of the 16-member selection committee, said that the Malayalam movie was selected due to its theme of the effects of climate change at a press conference. The Kerala Story, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, Telugu film Balagam, Marathi films Vaalvi and Baaplyok, and August 16, 1947 (Tamil) were among the 22 films that were considered.

2018 Movie will compete for The Best International Feature Film Category in Oscar which was formerly known as Best Foreign Film. Since Lagaan in 2002, there has been no Indian entry nominated for Best International Feature Film at the Oscars. Vijay Devarakonda signs multiple films with Dil Raju Productions

Vijay Deverakonda is on a signing spree. Earlier this year he okayed a project with Parasuram under Dil Raju Productions. The film’s shoot is almost 50 % done and it is progressing at a nice speed and is slated for a Sankranti 2024 release. Following Parasuram’s film, he also signed a project under Gowtham Tinnanuri’s direction.

Apart from this, he has also signed a film with Indraganti Mohankrishna which is supposedly a big-budget entertainer titled Jatayu. This film will be loaded with VFX and some striking visuals. This project is reportedly a gangster-genre film and will go on floors later this year. All these films are being made under Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations with completely different genres.

Rishab Shetty has grand plans for Kantara 2

The audience is eagerly waiting for Kantara 2, which is a prequel to the film Kantara, as it will follow the events before the first part.

There is a discussion going on about the current Kantara Prequel’s budget. Reportedly, the makers are planning to make the film with a massive a budget of Rs 125 crore. The film is said to be based on the concept of how the culture of Bhoota Kola was started. The prequel of Kantara 2 is set in the 4th century, specifically between 301-400 AD. Producer Ravinder Reddy shares updates on Peddha Kapu and Akhanda Sequels

Miryala Ravinder Reddy, the head of Dwarka Creations, had produced Akhanda the film which was made in the combination of Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu. After a massive success of Akhanda, he is now coming up with a new-age political thriller titled Peddha Kapu 1. The movie is scheduled to be released on September 29th. On this occasion, Producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy had a conversation with the media and talked about the sequels of Akhanda and Peddha Kapu.

Ravinder Reddy said that he is very much excited about Akhanda’s Sequel. But he also stated that the director Boyapati Sreenu and Balakrishna are busy, and the sequel will take time to commence.

Meanwhile, the producer also informed that the Sequel to Peddha Kapu 1 is very much on and the shoot will start in 2024 and the film will be released in the next year itself. He also said there can be a possibility of the third part for the film.

Virat Karna is being introduced as a hero with Peddha Kapu 1, while Pragathi Srivatsava is the heroine. Srikanth Addala who directed the film, also acted in a negative role. Udhayanidhi Stalin cancels Leo’s audio event permission?

Nagarjuna considers shifting Naa Saami Ranga to Summer

The announcement of Salaar makers of Christmas has changed many films release as well. Now a full reschedule of other Telugu films is happening. That is why, it is being reported that Akkineni Nagarjuna is considering moving the release of his upcoming film, Naa Saami Ranga from Sankranthi to Summer.

As there are multiple films are coming on Sankranthi mainly Guntur Kaaram which has the backup of good distributors, will get the required theaters. Even for Vijay Devarakonda’s film, the producer is Dil Raju so there will be no problem for them. The pan-Indian film, Hanuman also has good distributors and craze.

Now as per the latest reports, If Venkatesh’s Saindhav also comes on Sankranthi then Suresh Movies will handle the theaters. So. adding all these things, it is certain that there will be a big concern for Nagarjuna’s film Naa Saami Ranga to get the required number of theaters. Reportedly, Nagarjuna is thinking to shift the film’s release to Summer for Ugadi Festival.

The film, Naa Saami Ranga will also have Allari Naresh and Raj Tarun in other important roles, as the script requires more than one hero. Let’s wait and watch whether Nagarjuna will be able to get a good and proper release for Naa Saami Ranga or not.

A total of seven films, including Saindhav, lined up for Sankranthi release

Pan-Indian Star Prabhas’s big budget action thriller, Salaar, is being the reason for the reschedules of many Telugu movies. It is widely known that the film has been rescheduled from September 28th to a later day. An email stating the film’s release date in theaters on December 22 was received by exhibitors on September 26. Now, this sudden announcement led to confusion for the other filmmakers.

If this new plan of Salaar goes accordingly, four Telugu releases will have to reschedule their releases. Nani’s ‘Hi Nanna’, Venkatesh Daggubati’s ‘Saindhav’, and two other films have chosen dates that are closer to Christmas weekend. Hi Nanna, reportedly will move to the Republic Day while Saindhav will move to Sankranthi.

The inside reports strongly suggest that Victory Venkatesh and Sailesh Kolanu’s Saindhav makers are planning to release the eon Sankranthi. With Saindhav entering the race, now the count becomes 7 for Sankranthi Releases.
