Vijay – Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo Synopsis is out

Leo, the upcoming action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring Thalapathy Vijay, is one of the most anticipated films for South Indian Cinema fans of the year. There has been a great deal of hype surrounding the film. While the film’s promotions have started recently, the film’s Synopsis is doing the rounds on social media.

As per the Leo’s Synopsis, the protagonist, and his family live in a small hill town, where they run a café and lead a peaceful life. The whole town is shaken when a gang of robbers enters the town, which leads to plenty of people mysteriously killed. How this affect the protagonist and his family? What he does to deal with it forms the crux of the story.

Badass, the second single song from the film, was released yesterday, introduces the protagonist, Leo Das. The movie’s violent and gory themes are shown to viewers as well. In a snapshot, there are cacao pods spread across a table, an array of deadly weapons, Vijay with his hands drenched in blood, and a glimpse of the villain played by Sanjay Dutt.

Saindhav, the upcoming film of Victory Venkatesh, is the 75th film in his career. To make it a memorable one for the veteran star actor, the team is leaving no stone unturned. The film is being directed by talented HIT verse fame filmmaker Sailesh Kolanu, and the passionate producer Venkat Boyanapalli of Niharika Entertainment banner is producing it. The latest reports strongly suggest that the film’s team has a change in its release plans.

At first, the film was planned for a Christmas release But as Prabhas’s Salaar is coming on the same date, the team shifted the release to Sankranthi and reportedly locked the release date as 13th January. The official announcement on the same will be out very soon.

The story of the movie revolves around 8 key actors, and the unit has introduced 7 characters so far. Recently, they unveiled another crucial character from the movie.

Kollywood star Arya who is familiar to the Telugu audience, plays a significant role in the film and his character was introduced as Manas. Sporting a slick and stylish look in a formal outfit, Arya looked vicious in the first-look poster, as he walks ferociously with a machine gun in his hand.

Earlier for Independence Day, the makers of the movie released a small glimpse to introduce the other main characters of the movie. Venkatesh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shraddha Srinath, Ruhani Sharma, Andrea Jeremiah, Sara, and Jayaprakash appeared in the video.

Santosh Narayanan composes the music for the film, while S Manikandan cranks the camera. Garry BH is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Kishore Thallur is the co-producer.

It is widely known to everyone that the upcoming big film in the combination of Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s Guntur Kaaram has gone through a lot of reschedules and changes in its filming. The fans of Mahesh have piled up high hopes on the film. Recently, the Producer of Suryadevara Naga Vamsi has given an update on the most awaited first single of Guntur Kaaram. It is also being reported that the team of Guntur Kaaram is in plans prepone its release date.

At first, the Guntur Kaaram team announced for 12th January to get the advantage of a solo release. But as per the reports, the team is likely to push the film to 11th January. There are multiple films are lined up for 12th January to 14th January, So the film is likely to be released on 11th January to take the day 1 advantage.

On 12th January, Hanuman is getting released, while on 13th Eagle, and Saindhav are getting released. On January,14th Vijay Devarakonda’s Family Star is getting released and Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga which had announced for Sankranthi release, but the film is likely to be expected to move to Ugadi.

Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Guntur Kaaram marks the third collaboration between him and Superstar Mahesh Babu after Athadu and Khaleja. The project is being produced under the Haarika and Hassine Creations banner. The film also stars the latest sensational actress Sree Leela and upcoming actress Meenakshi Chaudhary, who will be sharing the screen with Mahesh for the first time. Thaman S is scoring the music for the film.

Vijay Antony, the Tamil actor, is now back at work days after his young daughter’s death. Meera, the daughter of the actor, committed suicide on September 19. She was 16 years old.

Producer G Dhananjeyan shared a few pictures from the promotional interviews for the upcoming film Raththam, which stars Vijay Antony, on Twitter. He wrote, “True example of professionalism, care for his Producers & Audience by @vijayantony sir – supporting our film #Raththam by being a part of promotional interviews with @csamudhan @ @Mahima_Nambiar today to various channels. A great inspiration & benchmark for the industry, by the man who rises above his personal tragedy to support his Team. Thank you, sir.”

While a few fans praised the actor for facing his heartbreak and returning to work, others thought it was still too early. A person stated that taking a longer time off work after such a tragedy would not affect their professional status.

Meera’s death was followed by the Tamil actor’s emotional statement on social media a few days later. Vijay Antony expressed his admiration for his daughter in a Tamil post.

The statement in Tamil is loosely translated as, “My Daughter Meera is such an affectionate and brave girl. She is now in a better and peaceful place where there won’t be caste, creed, money, jealousy, pain. She is still talking to me. I died with her. I have now started spending time for her. I will now do good things on her behalf.”

Vishal, the Tamil actor, has made serious accusations of corruption against the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in Mumbai. Vishal claimed that he had to pay Rs 6.5 lakhs to CBFC officials to obtain a censor certificate for the Hindi version of his latest film, ‘Mark Antony’, which was released in North India, in a shocking revelation.

Vishal shared a video on his social media channels that outlined the difficulty of completing two transactions to obtain the screening and certificate.

He urged Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take action against those responsible for the alleged scam, including disclosing the details of account holders involved in the transactions. Expressing his dismay, Vishal wrote, “Corruption being shown on the silver screen is fine, but not in real life, especially in government offices like the CBFC Mumbai office.”

He elaborated on the breakdown of the payments, which included 3 lakhs for screening and 3.5 lakhs for the certificate, pointing out that this was the first time he had encountered such a situation in his career.

Vishal’s intention behind bringing this issue to light is to safeguard future producers from facing similar challenges. He is optimistic that the truth will prevail and emphasizes that his hard-earned money should not be lost due to corruption.

Social media users have been left shocked by the allegations revealed by Vishal. Many are questioning the effects on big-budget, pan-India films if a small film like ‘Mark Antony’ needs 6.5 lakhs to obtain a censor certificate.

Skanda 1st day box office early estimates – Career biggest for Ram

Boyapati Sreenu and Ram Pothineni’s mass action entertainer Skanda has been released today and though the film has got a bit of mixed talk, the mass audiences seemed to have liked the energetic Hero Ram’s mass avatar and that is why the film is all set to register the career biggest openings in his career at the box office.

Ram’s biggest opening until now is Ismart Shankar and the film’s share is around 8Cr+ worldwide and Skanda is all set to break this opening and expected to open with around 10Cr Share worldwide. The film opened with good numbers in mass centers and even in the class centers the numbers are decent.

Coming to the Overseas and the rest of India, openings are good. It is a decent start for the film as it has been released on a weekday but we need to wait and see how the movie holds tomorrow and for the weekend, which is key as the theatrical rights are valued at a very huge number that is around 50Cr.

The movie’s music was composed by S Thaman. Srinivasaa Chitturi produced Skanda under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, making it the most expensive movie for Ram. The movie features Sree Leela as the female lead, and Saiee Manjrekar will play a crucial role. The movie presented by ZEE Studios South and Pavan Kumar features Santosh Detake as the cinematographer. Editing is handled by Tammiraju.

Siddharth, who was promoting his upcoming film Chithha in Bengaluru, Karnataka, was compelled to leave a press conference at the city’s SRV theater by members of a pro-Kannada group.

During his interaction with media members, a few men walked in and asked him to leave. In support of the ongoing Cauvery protest, they directed the press conference organizers to end the event immediately. A protester said, “We are fighting here and the Cauvery water is going to Tamil Nadu. And he is promoting the film, do you guys want this?”

While the men were speaking, Siddharth continued to engage with the media in Kannada while ignoring them. However, one of the protestors told the actor, “We have not come to order. We have come to request. Please stop this.” Then the actor stood up from his chair and thanked the media members before exiting the press conference.

For those who are not familiar, several pro-Kannada organizations, farmer groups, and labour unions have called for a Karnataka Bandh to protest the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu on September 29th. According to the protesters, water is being released to Tamil Nadu while the southwest monsoon is drawing to a close and storage levels are very low in the Cauvery basin reservoirs in Karnataka. The Cauvery is the primary source of drinking water for Bengaluru and farmland irrigation in the Mandya region of the state.
