Renu Desai confirms Akira Nandan’s disinterest in becoming an actor. She stated, “Akira is pursuing music and film production courses. He is also writing scripts. He has no interest in becoming an actor at the moment. Pawan Kalyan garu and I are not insisting on him becoming an actor.”

Mission Ranigang: The Great Bharat Rescue, Akshay Kumar’s latest release, was submitted to the Oscars by its producers independently on National Cinema Day. The movie’s box office performance has been quite dismal, though it is based on a true-life setting and the brave act of real-life hero Jaswant Singh Gill. 

The Malayalam film 2018: Everyone is a Hero, which stars actor Tovino Thomas, has been chosen as India’s official entry for the 2024 Academy Awards, in case you didn’t know. Jude Anthany Joseph is the director of the film, which is based on the devastating 2018 Kerala floods. 

Mission Raniganj is a movie that was inspired by an incident that took place in the Raniganj coalfield in West Bengal. The late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill’s heroic actions in leading a coal mine rescue mission in Bharat serve as inspiration for it. The production house Pooja Entertainment issued a statement, stating, “The heroic Jaswant Singh Gill played a significant role in rescuing all the surviving miners who were trapped inside a flooded coal mine in Raniganj in November 1989. This remarkable rescue mission in Bharat defied all odds.” Jaswant Singh Gill, a resident of Amritsar, received numerous awards for his brave act in 1989. He passed away in 2019 at the age of 80.

Aamir mentioned in an interview with that he has not spoken about it publicly, and he won’t be able to say much now either. “But I can tell the title. The title of the film is ‘Sitare Zameen Par’. You must have remembered my film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and the name of this film is ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ because we are moving 10 steps ahead with the same theme. The film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ was filled with emotion. This film will make you laugh. That film made you cry, this one will entertain you.”

Aamir asserted that the theme is identical. “We kept this name cautiously for that reason. We all have flaws, we all have weaknesses, but we all also have something special, so we are taking forward this theme, but this time, the character of the special child Ishaan in that film – my character helps that character in ‘Taare Zameen Par’. In ‘Sitare Zameen Par’, the nine boys who have their own problems assist me. It’s the opposite.”

It is noteworthy that ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ is a Hindi adaptation of the movie ‘Campeones’.

Recently, making movies in two parts or hinting a sequel at the end of the standalone films has become normal. It is widely known that Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is all set to release his first-ever Pan Indian film, Tiger Nageswara Rao, which will hit theaters on October 20th. Now interesting news about the film is running in industry circles that the film, Tiger Nageswara Rao was initially planned for two parts, but makers dropped the idea due to certain reasons.

The story of the film is said to be huge and has a big span, and definitely it had the potential to be made in two parts and the team has said in the promotions that the movie needed a runtime of almost 5 hours to tell the story clearly. Even the team planned for two parts initially, but if it was made into two parts the team felt that there was a chance of the audience giving negative feedback with a feeling that they have watched half the movie only. 

So the makers feared there was a chance of the film getting a negative response, so they crisped it for a single part with a runtime of 181 Minutes. Definitely, if the movie’s pace is good then the runtime will not affect as a few bigger stories require that runtime, and recently, we have seen many blockbusters with 3 hours runtime.

Directed by Vamsee GV Prakash Kumar scored the music and the makers released two songs as of now. Nupur Sanon and Gayathri Bharadwaj are the heroines in the film. The cinematography is by R Madhie ISC, while Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Srikanth Vissa is the dialogue writer, while Mayank Singhaniya is the co-producer.

Tiger Nageswara Rao will be released in all south Indian languages and Hindi on October 20th for Dussehra.

It is widely known that Director Shankar has shot both Indian 2 and Game Changer parallelly for a while but one cannot help but wonder what is going on Shankar’s mind as for both films, but the budget limits have been crossed, and the footage came lengthy as well. This makes both films’ makers in a dilemma.

If they go with a single part release, there is a massive risk for the producers as they might even end with deficits and if they want to go with double parts the Part 1 must deliver a blockbuster success and the script changes needs to be done carefully and the majority of the story has to hold for Part 2.

There are already discussions happening about releasing Indian 2 in two parts, and the makers are yet to announce whether they will release the film as a single part or double parts. Now the same rumors are emerging for Game Changer also, as it is being reported that the team is discussing whether to release the film in a single part or they need to go with a two – part release. Overall, Director Shankar puts both films makers in a dilemma.

Indian 2 has been able to generate a lot of buzz and will see Kamal Haasan playing alongside several renowned Tamil actors, including Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, S J Suryah, and late actors Vivek and Manobala.

Kiara Advani, Anjali, Srikanth, SJ Surya, Naveen Chandra, and others play key roles in Game Changer. Dil Raju and Sirish are the producers of the film, which is produced under the prestigious banner of Sree Venkateswara Creations aka SVC. Normally AR Rahman scores music for Shankar’s directorial but for this movie, S Thaman has been given the job. The Story of the film, Game Changer, written by Karthik Subbaraju is backed up with the powerful pen of Sai Madhav Burra and the Cinematography is by Thiru and Rathnavelu.

It’s a dry weekend for Telugu states theater owners, as there are no notable releases today, which marks the tough times continue for them. As the Dasara festival weekend is flooded with star films, many small, and low-budget movies have been put into the theaters but no one knows the Hero, Heroine, Director, or anybody’s name in all the films.

Though more than 10 films are releasing in theaters this week, there is not a single notable movie in it. With this, the audience’s eyes fell on the OTT. Accordingly, about 29 films will be streaming this weekend, i.e. Thursday and Friday. This makes it a truly dry weekend for Telugu theaters owners.

In last weekend many small films were released with notable star cast but excluding the film, MAD, all films crashed on the opening day itself. Being a youthful entertainer and receiving positive response, MAD movie is doing decent numbers at the box office.

However, the revenue of MAD movie is very limited, and even this weekend there are no notable releases and the audience has only option for this weekend, MAD movie. So the tough times for theater owners will continue until next as they have good days with three big films getting released.

After the release of ‘Thunivu’ there were a lot of expectations over Ajith’s next project. The Kollywood star immediately signed his next ‘Vidaamuyarchi’.
