It is widely known that in the recent past, the management of PVR Cinemas had provided the weekday pass for their patrons and the price was RS 600. Now after getting merged it is again reintroducing weekday pass through which the audiences can watch 10 movies per month.

After the Coronavirus pandemic, the audiences are slowly coming to the theaters. PVR Cinemas, India’s largest multiplex management company, has been announcing exciting offers to attract the audience to the theaters. They have come up with another offer as they reintroduce the weekday pass.

PVR INOX Offers:

In today’s time, to watch a movie in a multiplex, the wallet of the public has to be emptied. If one person goes to a movie with two or three family members, it costs up to Rs 1,000. In this context, PVR Inox Cinemas has announced that it is offering the opportunity to the audiences to watch 10 movies for just Rs 700. The offer will start from October 16.

PVR New Weekday Pass:

Through the PVR weekday pass, you can watch 10 movies in any PVR theater by paying Rs.700 for 30 days. However, the offer will be applicable only on weekdays (Monday to Friday). This is a great opportunity for the cinema audience in Hyderabad to watch their favorite movies on the big screens. This pass allows them to watch the most-awaited movies that are coming up for big festivals like Dussehra, Diwali, Christmas, New Year and Sankranthi.

The National Cinema Day makes a huge impact and draws 6 million people to theaters as it made the movie lovers run into the theaters on October 13th. Films like Jawan, Mission Raniganj, Thank You For Coming, and MAD got heavily benefited from the National Cinema Day.

According to the Multiplex Association of India (MAI), on Friday, October 13, 2023, there was a record number of cinema goers who went to the movies to celebrate National Cinema Day. The initiative saw the participation of over 4,300 screens, which included cinema chains like PVR NOX, Cinepolis, Miraj, City Pride, Mukta A2, Movie Time, Wave, M2K, Movie Max, Rajhans, NY Cinemas, Delite, and others.

6 million people came to the theaters:

The moviegoers across the country gave the second National Cinema Day a big thumbs up, with shows starting at 6.00 am. MAI stated in a statement that they had achieved great success in bringing together millions of movie fans of all ages to enjoy movies on the big screen. National Cinema Day was celebrated by a record-breaking 6+ million moviegoers at their local theaters. Audiences of all ages gathered in every corner to experience an unprecedented demand for movie tickets, and cinema operators across the country reported house-full shows throughout the day, making October 13 the second most-attended day of 2023.

ఆవిడ గురించి తెలుకోవడానికి కొంతమందిని కలిశాను. లవణం గారి మేనకోడలు కీర్తిగారిని విజయవాడలో కలిశాను. ఆవిడ గురించి చాలా సమాచారం ఇచ్చారు. ఈ పాత్ర చేసినప్పుడు అవన్నీ సహాయపడ్డాయి, సహజంగా నేను మాట్లాడేటప్పుడు నా తల ఎక్కువగా కదులుతుంది. కానీ హేమలత లవణం గారు చాలా స్థిరంగా హుందాగా ఉంటారు. అలా స్థిరంగా వుండే బాడీ లాంగ్వేజ్ పై వర్క్ చేశాను. అలాగే తెలుగుని కూడా స్పష్టంగా ప్రిపేర్ అయ్యాను. ఆమెలా కనిపించడానికి చాలా నిజాయితీగా ప్రయత్నించాను. ఈ పాత్ర నాకు చాలా తృప్తిని ఇచ్చింది.

హేమలతా లవణం గారి పాత్ర మీలో ఎలాంటి మార్పులు తీసుకొచ్చింది ?
చాలా మార్పు తెచ్చింది. సామాజికంగా ఇప్పటివరకూ చేసింది సరిపోదనిపించింది. ఇంకా పని చేయాలనిపించింది. చిన్న పిల్లలు ఎవరూ ఆకలితో వుండకూదనేది నా లక్ష్యం. ఎంతవరకూ కుదిరితే అంత ఆ దిశగా పని చేయాలి.

హీరోయిన్, డిజైనర్, ఇప్పుడు క్యారెక్టర్ ఆర్టిస్ట్.. ఈ జర్నీ ఎలా వుంది ?
డిజైనర్ విషయంలో మీకో క్లారిటీ ఇవ్వాలి. నేను డిజైనర్ ని కాదు. నేను ఒరిజినల్ స్టయిలిస్ట్ ని. డిజైనర్ వర్క్ వేరు. నాకు కలర్స్ పై మంచి అవగాహన వుంది. నేను ఆర్ట్స్ స్టూడెంట్ ని. ఏ కలర్ ఏది మ్యాచ్ అవుతుందో నాకు అర్ధమౌతుంది. నేను స్టయిలిస్ట్ ని మాత్రమే. స్టయిలింగ్ కూడా నేను ప్లాన్ చేసి చేసింది కాదు. ఖుషి సినిమాకి ముందు కళ్యాణ్ గారితో షాపింగ్ కి వెళ్ళినపుడు నా స్టయిలింగ్ సెన్స్ ఆయనకి నచ్చింది. నువ్వే చేసేయ్ అన్నారు. అలాగే సామాజిక కార్యక్రమాలు, కవిత్వం రాయడం, ఇవన్నీ కూడా ప్లాన్ చేసి చేసినవి కాదు.

రవితేజ గారితో వర్క్ చేయడం ఎలా అనిపించింది ?
రవితేజ గారితో పని చేయడం చేయడం ఖచ్చితంగా గొప్ప అనుభూతి. రవితేజ గారి గురించి ఈ సినిమా ప్రీరిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్ లో మరింత చెప్తాను. దీని కోసం ప్రత్యేకంగా ఒక స్పీచ్ కూడా ప్రిపేర్ చేశాను.

నటనకి చాలా విరామం ఇచ్చారు కదా ?
నాకు నటించేలానే వుంది. కానీ కథ. పాత్ర, దర్శకుడు, నిర్మాత ఇవన్నీ కలసి రావాలి. ఇప్పుడు  టైగర్ నాగేశ్వర రావుకి మూడు కలిసొచ్చాయి. మంచి పాత్రలు వస్తే తప్పకుండా నటిస్తాను.

‘టైగర్ నాగేశ్వరరావు’ సినిమా విషయంలో ఇప్పటివరకూ మీరు అందుకున్న బెస్ట్ కాంప్లిమెంట్ ?
ట్రైలర్ చూసిన మా అమ్మాయి .. వయసుకు తగ్గ పాత్ర చేసినందుకు చాలా గర్వంగా వుందమ్మా’ అని చెప్పింది. ఇది నాకు బిగ్గెస్ట్ కాంప్లిమెంట్.

అకీరా హీరోగా ఎప్పుడు పరిచయం అవుతారు ?
హీరోగా చేయాలనే ఆసక్తి అకీరాకి ఈ క్షణం వరకూ లేదు. అకీరాది చాలా భిన్నమైన వ్యక్తిత్వం. పియానో నేర్చుకున్నాడు. అలాగే ఫిల్మ్ ప్రొడక్షన్ గురించి కూడా  నేర్చుకున్నాడు. యోగా, మార్సల్ ఆర్ట్స్, కిక్ బాక్సింగ్ ఇవన్నీ నేర్చుకున్నాడు. తనకి రైటింగ్ ఇష్టం. ఒక స్క్రిప్ట్ కూడా రాశాడు. అయితే ఇప్పటి వరకు నటుడిని అవుతానని  మాత్రం చెప్పలేదు. తను హీరో అవ్వాలని డిసైడ్ అయితే అందరికంటే ముందు నేనే ప్రకటిస్తా.

అకీరా సినిమాల్లోకి రావాలని మీరు కోరుకుంటారా ?
తన కొడుకుని బిగ్ స్క్రీన్ పై చూడాలని ప్రతి తల్లికి వుంటుంది. నాకు కూడా వుంది. అయితే హీరో కావాలని ముందు తనకి అనిపించాలి. తను చూడటానికి అందంగా ఉంటాడు. ఒక నటుడికి కావాల్సిన అన్ని క్వాలిటీ లు తనలో వున్నాయి. నేను ఒక నటిని. వాళ్ళ నాన్న, పెదనాన్న యాక్టర్స్. తను తెరపై ఎలా కనిపిస్తాడో చూడాలని తల్లిగా నాకూ వుంటుంది.

అభిషేక్ అగర్వాల్ గారి నిర్మాణంలో చేయడం ఎలా అనిపించింది ?
ఇప్పటివరకూ నేను పని చేసిన నిర్మాణ సంస్థలన్నీ చాలా గౌరవంగా చూశాయి. అయితే టైగర్ నాగేశ్వరరావు లో నేను హీరోయిన్ కాదు. దీంతో పాటు చాలా రోజుల తర్వాత నటిస్తున్నాను. ట్రీట్మెంట్ ఎలా వుంటుందో అని కాస్త భయపడ్డాను. అయితే అభిషేక్ భయ్యా, అర్చన ఒక ఫ్యామిలీ మెంబర్స్ లా అయిపోయారు. ఎంతో గౌరవంగా మర్యాదగా జాగ్రత్తగా చూసుకున్నారు. ఈ సినిమా జరిగినంత కాలం నాకు ఎలాంటి ఒత్తిడి లేదు. ఈ సినిమా చేయడం చాలా ఆనందాన్ని ఇచ్చింది.

నటన కొనసాగిస్తారా ?
నాకు నటన ఎప్పుడూ కొనసాగించాలనే వుంటుంది. నా వయసుకు తగ్గ మంచి పాత్రలు వస్తే తప్పకుండా చేస్తాను.

In a shocking turn of events, Chandramukhi 2 and Iraivan HD versions have been leaked online. Both the films have great Star Power in the form of Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut, Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara. It is noteworthy that both the films were released on the same day, September 28th.

Both movies, Chandramukhi 2 and Iraivan have still not streamed on OTT platforms, but the HD version has been leaked online. Interestingly, both movies’ OTT rights have been bought by the giant OTT platform Netflix and the buzz is they will be ready for the OTT streaming in this month end. Sadly, both the films’ Tamil versions have leaked online before the OTT release.

Made as a psychological thriller, ‘Iraivan’ is helmed by I Ahmed and features Jayam Ravi, Nayanthara, and Rahul Bose portraying the main characters. The music for the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. After its release in theaters on September 28, the film received numerous positive reviews and was rated as one of the best psychotic thriller films in Tamil.

The film clashed at the box office with ‘Chandramukhi 2’ and ‘Chithha’. However, Chandramukhi 2 and Iraivan faced failure at the box office, though the former had a decent opening weekend.

A movie’s success depends hugely on the government’s support. We all saw what happened in AP during the ticket price issue when many movies lost a chunk of their collections due to the slashing of ticket prices. Now, big movies are getting severely affected in Tamil Nadu since the government is giving permission to start shows from 9 a.m. only. And to match this, the overseas premier shows are starting late so all those revenues are getting slashed creating losses for the makers.

Leo makers have already requested the government to permit the shows for 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. on opening day. But the government has not granted permission for this and has clearly stated that only one special show will be allowed which should start at 9 am. Now to match this, the overseas premiers will start late, and earlier shows will be canceled there as well Because of this, the terrific advance bookings for overseas premiers are getting affected.

Adding to this, the IMAX version is also said to be not ready and shows are getting canceled leading to huge losses. Now, the only option for makers is to screen Leo before release day at midnight premiers. But, this could be a risky move in case the movie opens with mixed talk, it will impact the opening.

Something similar happened to Rajinikanth’s Jailer where permission for 4 AM and 7 AM shows were not given. However, Superstar’s magnetic screen presence and Anirudh’s roaring music pulled the movie towards a blockbuster. Vijay fans will be hoping for something similar here as well.
