Before the release itself, many theatre owners had taken a backstep due to the producers/ distributors demanding a heavy percentage from the theatre owners. The producers demanded 80% from theatre owners, and with no choice, as no other films were getting released, the theatre owners okayed at the last moment.

Tamil Nadu Theatre Association head Tirupur Subramanian shares his disappointment and deep pain of the 80% share demand agreement done for the movie Leo. He said that If this trend continues, many theatres will have to be closed shortly. “Since no other movie has been released. We were forced to agree on no other choice,” said Subramanian. The gist of his words was Leo is a loss venture for theatre owners in Tamil Nadu.

He added, “Keeping this as a benchmark, they will demand more than 80% in the next movie; giving 80% share in net is a loss venture for any theatre owner; now the producers have money; how will theatre owners make money if the same trend continues, the theatres will end up as substantial loss ventures. Leo is a loss venture for theatre owners. They did not make any money.”

The plus point of the movie is the crazy actress, Sree Leela. So, the team started releasing the content of the heroine predominantly. Firstly, they released a glimpse of Sree Leela on her birthday. After that, the team began releasing singles from the film, and the unit continued to release songs where Sree Leela’s dance and glamour could be highlighted.

Today, the makers of Aadi Keshava unveiled the third single, which is a mass song, and this one is likely to create a buzz in the film as the piece looks catchy and the dance moves are excellent as well.

Titled “Annapoorani,” has taken the spotlight following the release of its teaser, which showcases the actress in a character that defies traditional norms. Before the release itself, it was reported that Nayanthara’s 75th film is a female-led project.

The teaser, which was released on the auspicious anniversary of Vijayadashami, gives a tantalizing glimpse into the character. In “Annapoorani,” Nayanthara plays a character who differs from her traditional Brahmin background. The trailer features stunning imagery of Srirangam, near Trichy, which sets the scene for the story of an orthodox Brahmin family.

The plot revolves mainly around Nayanthara’s character, who seems to be nurtured in an orthodox Brahmin home known for its steadfast vegetarianism. However, an exciting plot surprise lends complexity to the surface. Nayanthara’s character is seen reading what looks to be a management book. The surprise comes when it is found that she is secretly browsing a cookbook with ideas for meat meals.

The failure of Skanda came as a massive setback for Boyapati Srinu who was hoping to create his magic on a pan-India level. The director and Ram both made their pan-India debuts with this project and hoped to achieve what many of their predecessors had done. Unfortunately, Skanda couldn’t succeed at the box office. The failure later led to the director pushing the blame on music director Thaman along with various other factors.

It all started when Boyapati Srinu in an interview after the release mentioned that he has witnessed a negative response for only music and not for any other department. He further went on to deny that Akhanda’s success was due to Thaman. The director said that even without RR also Akhanda is a blockbuster subject.

Thaman had earlier responded to this statement through a cryptic social media post. The music composer has now spoken on the subject.  Thaman in a recent interview said that he would not work if there is no soul and emotion in the film. If the story has emotion, the music will work as it worked in Akhanda now with Bhagavanth Kesari as well. He did not mention the name directly but everyone feels that he counters Boyapati Srinu’s comments
