MAD Movie OTT streaming date is officially out. The youthful entertainer was released recently and the features a talented cast including Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shobhan, Ram Nithin, Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananathika Sanilkumar, and Gopikaa Udyan, is in the news once again as MAD Movie OTT streaming date is officially out now.

The latest information is that this film is set to make its grand OTT debut on Netflix this Friday (November 3, 2023). The official announcement was made by the streaming service on its social media account. The audiences who have watched the film in theaters can re-watch it on OTT, while the ones who missed it on the big screens can enjoy it at leisure. 

Directed by Kalyan Shankar, MAD marks the debut of Haarika Suryadevara as a producer, with Sai Soujanya as the co-producer. Naga Vamsi presented this flick, and the music was composed by Bheems Ceciroleo. The regular Telugu OTT watchers are delighted as finally, the MAD Movie OTT streaming date is officially out.

The movie tells us the story of three friends named Manoj (Ram Nitin), Ashok (Narne Nitin), and Damodar (Sangeet Shobhan), who join an engineering college. They become three friends, and their group gets a name called MAD. Ashok speaks less and is a bit of an introvert type! He likes Jenny (Anantika Sanil Kumar). Manoj flirts with girls but falls in sincere love with Shruti (Sri Gauri Priya Reddy). An unknown girl writes a letter to Damodar, who is firmly convinced that girls do not like him. She talks to him on the phone every day. Who is she? What is the role of Radha (Gopika Udayan) in this story? How did the seniors rag them in college? What is their issue with JC of College? The last non-Rajinikanth industry hit was in 1996. The movie was none other than Shankar and Kamal Hassan’s film, Indian. Since then, Rajinikanth’s industry hits remain unbeatable in Kollywood.

Rajinikanth broke the records of Indian with Padayappa [Narasimha], and from that time, only Rajini could break his industry-hit records. With films like Chandramukhi, Shivaji, Robo, Kabali, and 2 Point 0, he himself has broken his own industry hit records. 

His previous film, Jailer, came close to 2 Point 0 but missed due to weak performance in Hindi. After that, everyone thought, finally, Leo had the chance to break Rajinikanth’s records with the hype and craze around it, but even this might not cross Jailer, and 2 Point 0 will remain as the constant industry hit with Rajinikanth only for a few more months.

It is widely known that the bold actress Payal has teamed up again with her debut film, RX 100’s director Ajay Bhupathi, for the upcoming horror thriller Mangalavaaram. The film is nearing its release date, and interestingly, Payal Rajput’s film has received more business offers than Vaishnav Tej’s film. 

Mangalavaaram film’s trailer worked well in trade, and it is expected that this movie will work well like RX100. The movie’s Andhra [6 Territories] business has been done in a 5Cr ratio, while Dil Raju bought the Nizam area for 3.5 Cr and Ceeded will be in the range of 1.5Cr. The total Telugu state business is 10Cr, and the Overseas is 1.5Cr. ROI is close to 1Cr [Telugu version], so the film’s theatrical business is valued at 12.5Cr+, and it is getting released on 17th November.

Vaishnav Tej’s Aadikeshava is being released on 10th November, and the movie is not doing business even in the ratio of Mangalavaaram. The film’s worldwide business is expected to close in the range of 11Cr, which is very disappointing for a Vaishnav Tej, Sree Leela starrer. The promotional content and title have failed to impress the audiences, so Payal Rajput’s film received more business offers than Vaishnav Tej’s film.

The film Mangalavaaram has Payal playing a bold role, and A Creative Works and Mudhra Media Works produced it. The music for the film was composed by Ajaneesh Loknath of Kantara and Virupaksha fame. November 17th marks the release of the movie in multiple languages. It will be interesting to see if Ajay Bhupathi can make a comeback with Mangalavaaram.

Leo needs 85Cr more to surpass Jailer’s records

Vijay’s Leo is posting record-breaking numbers in almost all territories and achieved a breakeven mark within the first six days in most regions. With a worldwide Gross of 466 Crores, Leo created a record for 1st week in Kollywood. The previous record holder was Rajinikanth’s Jailer, which collected 417 Cr. After its 10 days run, the film has now entered the exclusive Rs 500 crore club.

Leo has collected 360Cr in India and 180Cr overseas totalling to 540Cr in 11 days. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this action entertainer is now looking to cross Jailer lifetime collections which is 625 Cr. Leo needs to collect another 85Cr gross to break Jailer records. Practically it seems to be a massive task as outside TN markets it at max can do 15Cr – 20Cr. This means Leo has to collect around 70Cr from now only from TN.

The movie has seen drops even in TN on weekdays and picked very well for the weekend again yesterday. Because of these drops on weekdays which will repeat this week as well, 70 crore might be a tough task.

As per current estimation, Leo is likely to end up in the range of 600Cr. 2Point0 and Jailer will stay in the top2 for Kollywood.

Premam Director Alphonse Puthren quits film career due to health reasons. He has announced that he is ending his film and theater career much to the dismay of his fans. Alphonse said through a note shared on social media that he found out that he has autism spectrum disorder and does not intend to be a liability to anyone.

“I am ending my film and theater career. I just diagnosed myself with Autism Spectrum Disorder the other day. I don’t want to be a liability to anyone. I will continue to do short films, videos, and songs. Sometimes, it even does OTT. Quitting the film is unthinkable, but I have no choice. I don’t want to make a promise I can’t keep. When health is weak or unpredictable, life brings a twist like interval punch.” – Alphonse Putra noted.

Many names, including fans, are coming up with comments on Alphonse’s post. Some fans suggested to Alphonse that without deciding on his own, he should make an accurate diagnosis with the help of a doctor.

In 2013, he entered Malayalam cinema as a director with the film ‘Neram’ with Nivin Pauly. After the financial success of ‘Neram,’ in 2015, Alphonse made ‘Premam’ again with Nivin Pauly, and the film became a trendsetter in Malayalam.

Karthi donated 1 crore for his landmark film Japan, giving each 1 Lakh to 25 social activists, 1L each to the 25 needy schools, 1L each to 25 hospitals, and the remaining amount to serve food to 25,000 people for 25 days.

The grand audio launch of ‘Japan’ was conducted in Chennai on October 28, and the event, which was attended by Suriya, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vishal, Jayam Ravi, Arya, Tamannaah, and numerous other celebs, boosted the film’s buzz.
