Sekhar Kammula and Devi Sri Prasad team up for Nagarjuna – Dhanush film. It is widely known that Tamil Star Actor Dhanush has joined the acclaimed director Kammula for his 51st film. The film’s shooting will begin around January or February in Mumbai and Cochin.

The team initially approached the Oscar Award Winner AR Rahman for music, but the discussions did not work, and Devi Sri Prasad has been confirmed. This news will surely make the D fans happy as the combo of Kutty and Venghai is back.

According to the reports, the movie is set against a political backdrop based on actual incidents. Sekhar Kammula and Devi Sri Prasad team up for the Nagarjuna Dhanush film with an intriguing plot.

Dhanush is very much familiar to the Telugu audience. He has already done ‘Sir’ under the direction of Venky Atluri. It was his first Telugu film. Before ‘Sir,’ Dhanush had agreed to do a movie directed by sensible director Sekhar Kammula. It will go on floors next year. 

Tollywood’s King Akkineni Nagarjuna is also a part of the cast. Though he is not playing a full-length role, he is said to be a very crucial character. The regular shooting of the film is all set to begin in February. 

National crush Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead of the film. This is her first film with Dhanush. Sunil Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are producing the movie under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP (Asian Group Unit) in association with Sekhar Kammula’s Amigos Creations Pvt. Ltd. This is Dhanush’s 51st film. Therefore, it is called D51 Movie.

This weekend is a blockbuster for OTT lovers with multiple streams

Weekends usually brings a lot of new releases both in theatres as well as OTTs. While Tharun Bhascker’s Keeda Kola and Maa Ooori Polimera 2 will hit the theatres on 3rd of November, this weekend also promises a bunch of high-profile movies on OTT.

Shahrukh Khan’s Bollywood Industry Hit Jawan is perhaps the biggest OTT release this week. The massive blockbuster directed by Atlee, co-starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathy with Deepika Padukone in a cameo will release on 2nd November. Incidentally, this date happens to be King Khan’s birthday and the movie’s release on Netflix has made this day even more special and much-awaited.

Boyapati Srinu’s Skanda which starred Ram and Sreeleela will be the first big Telugu OTT release this week. The action entertainer failed at the box office and it needs to be seen how it fares on the digital platform once it releases on Disney+ Hotstar on November 2nd.

Apart from this, we also have the recent commercial hit MAD which will stream on Netflix from 3rd November. The youthful entertainer was released in theatres on 6th October and received great reviews for its entertainment value and out-and-out fun episodes. Not just youngsters but even family audiences are eagerly awaiting for this release.

Sushmita Sen’s crime drama series Aarya will also premiere for its 3rd season on 3rd November. The show, whose first two seasons received great reviews will be available to watch on Disney+ Hotstar.

The all-new episodes of the Hindi cult hit web series Scam 2002 will also stream from 3rd November on Sony Liv. The show follows the life of scamster Abdul Karim Telgi and Volume 2 episodes of the show’s new instalments will be available for the audience this weekend.

Nithin’s Extra Teaser provides just ordinary entertainment. Hero Nithin’s upcoming film, Extra Ordinary Man’s Teaser, was released this evening and looked standard. The film unit mentioned ‘Entertainment badhalaipoddi’ in the tweet, but the teaser was very common.

The fun parts in the teaser give a feel of a very old touch, and dialogues like Baahubali’s 6th row and 7th line looked routine and could have been better. The bully could have been better if they had revealed some details about the film, like the central theme and conflict.

Nithiin shows up in some action scenes at the beginning of the teaser and then introduces himself as a junior artist who appeared in the Dandalayya song from Baahubali 2. Also, the teaser shows a bit of the protagonist’s romance with Sree Leela and the traditional father-son scenes with Rao Ramesh. Overall, the Extra Teaser is just ordinary entertainment.

Vakkantham Vamsi is the film’s director, and the filming is now moving quickly. The makers have already announced that the film will be released in theaters on December 8th. Sudhakar Reddy is producing the movie under the Sreshth Movies banner in cooperation with Aditya Movies and Entertainments.

Leo’s OTT version is different from theatres. The young director Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed this news in a recent interview about the difference between the film’s OTT and theatrical versions. According to the Vikram director, the 18 – 20 mins portion of Flashback was done for relaxation, and it was for the celebration mode of fans. He affirmed that Leo’s OTT version is different from theatres.

Lokesh also stated the protagonist’s motive by comparing it with the other characters in LCU; Dilli’s motive is to safeguard his daughter, while Vikram’s motive is to create a  drug-free society. Likewise, the motive of Leo is to make sure the world believes only Parthiban exists and Leo is dead.

After that, he confirmed that the OTT version of the film will have the version where Leo reveals himself to Antony Das in the climax. Meanwhile, the Thalapathy fans are expecting a few more scenes that are not present in the theatrical version.

Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj worked together for the second time to produce the movie Leo, which is currently being screened in theaters. Even though there are mixed reviews, the film is doing well in many areas, with Trisha Krishnan as the female lead.

Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed in a recent interview that he had conceived the Leo story five years ago with a different actor in mind, but casting didn’t happen. After working with Vijay in Master and getting close to him, he created Leo to demonstrate the actor’s performance abilities. Lokesh, however, did not reveal the actor he originally intended for the role, and it’s only Lokesh who knows it.

The film has an impressive cast, with Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Iyal, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Mandonna Sebastian, Priya Anand, and others playing important roles. Seven Screen Studio produced the movie with Anirudh Ravichander as the music composer.
