On the third weekend, Salaar’s Hindi version has collected more than 10Cr Net. The Hindi version of the film is running very steadily and other languages were poor, including Telugu on the 3rd weekend. It’s been five years since 2 Point 0 was released, and Shankar did not have any release in theatres. As said above, there were several issues on the Indian 2 sets. At first, an unfortunate accident happened on the film’s set, and Shankar moved to Ram Charan’s Game Changer.

After a few days, Indian 2 got back on sets again, which put Shankar and Ram Charan in a difficult position. With Indian two shooting getting a restart, Game Changer got poorly affected. Till now, the team of Indian Two has not announced any release date, and finally, it is said that the team is set for the release date announcement on Republic Day.

The plan is to release Indian 2 and Indian 3 this year only. For this to happen Indian two must be released in Summer. We must wait and see the official date of release for the film.

Kamal Haasan reprises the iconic Senapathy character in the film Indian 2 alongside several renowned Tamil actors, including Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, S J Suryah, and late actors Vivek and Manobala. Jailer Sequel Confirmed to Start Filming Next Year

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer is all set to get its sequel. Directed by Nelson Dileepkumar, Jailer was the biggest Kollywood success story of 2023 and created a box-office storm with record collections in all the territories. And now preparations have started for a Jailer sequel.

Jailer was a sensational blockbuster and a comeback of Rajinikanth which collected Rs 625Cr gross worldwide. The action thriller was also the South Indian biggest grosser of last year. While the year saw other biggies like Leo and Salaar, they couldn’t cross the benchmark set by Jailer.

Nelson has prepared an initial draft of the Jailer sequel and Rajinikanth has approved the line and given the green signal to the director. The project is expected to go on floors next year. Rajinikanth is currently working on Gnanavel Raja’s film and it will take some time to close this commitment.

After this, he will start working on Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film in the summer and also has a film with Mari Selvaraj which may also go on floors by year’s end. Once Rajini is free from these projects, Jailer 2 will be launched. Nelson is likely to do another movie in this gap and the Jailer sequel will start in 2025 mid.

As said above, at a time when the Telugu films are struggling to get the sufficient number of screens, Dil Raju is releasing Siva Karthikeyan’s Ayalaan in Uttarandhra and Nizam on 12th January. Even it may take lesser shows and theaters but those also could be given for our Telugu films.

As you Telugu Film Chamber’s President, he should convince Ayalaan unit to not release the film for Sankranthi festival time as multiple films are already slated to be released here. But he himself is releasing the film in Uttarandhra and Nizam which definitely sets a bad example.

Pushpa 2 is expected to collect a massive number of 1000Cr Gross Worldwide, even with decent word of mouth. The numbers will be much more significant than expected if the film gets blockbuster talk. No film has any chance of going near the 1000Cr mark this year. Unless some magic happens, Pushpa 2 will surely be the biggest Grosser this year.
