On opening day, Captain Miller dominated Ayalaan massively and opened with almost double the numbers of the Sci Fi Drama of Siva Karthikeyan. But after the opening day, Ayalaan surprisingly picks up and on Day 2 to put the numbers on par with Captain Miller.

Ayalaan took further more jump on Day 3, and received a lead over Captain Miller. The genre is working so well for film, as families and kids are coming to the theaters to watch the movie in big numbers. Captain Miller is also running with good collections.
