The film will definitely cross the magical mark of 200Cr and has high chances to achieve 250Cr, the trade expects it to go near 300Cr as well based on the performance in Hindi and Telugu languages this weekend.

Captain Miller is a periodic action drama set in the pre-independence era, and it will appeal to the audience of all age groups. This high-budget entertainer is presented by T.G. Thyagarajan of Sathya Jyothi Films and produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan.

Sriram Raghavan, whose last film Andhadhun was a blockbuster success, also created some curiosity about the movie due to its intriguing trailers and posters.

Overall, the movie did not work well despite positive reviews and showing great promise.

The film, which was released to unfavourable reviews and poor talk saw word of mouth improve over the last few days and the festival days further helped the movie overcome several odds.

On Monday, Guntur Kaaram had its biggest day in Telugu states post-release day and put up some fantastic numbers in Telugu states.

The total Telugu states’ share stands at Rs 69.5 crores while the rest of India and overseas share is around Rs 19.5 crores. In total, Guntur Kaaram has collected a share of Rs 89 crores marking a recovery of 66%. With the way it’s going, collecting 20 Cr in the next 3 days is very much possible and the Rs 100 crore share milestone will also be breached soon.
