But Guntur Kaaram is a regular commercial film and going for massive hike like 250 for Single Screens, and 413 Multiplex for it has backfired. The film opened with below par word of mouth, so Dil Raju had to take an immediate decision to remove the hike, but he did not do that, which shows a bigger effect now.

The other movies have better talk and reviews than Guntur Kaaram, and they also have lesser ticket prices, so the majority of the audiences want to go for the other films only because of better WOM and mainly less ticket price.

If Dil Raju had removed the ticket hike after the weekend, then definitely the movie would have performed much better than now. The movie is doing good in Andhra because of comfortable ticket price, but in Nizam, the ticket hike has affected a lot for the film.

Yes, the film has just a decent hold which is enough for theatrical business and the movie will not collect big like Soggade Chinni Nayana and to get even the half collections of SCN is tough for the film.

So, for Naa Saami Ranga genre has helped massively. Coming to Eagle, the promotional content showed like it was a serious action film like Saindhav and if they have released the film on this Sankranthi they would have struggled to get the required theaters and even getting big numbers also would have been difficult if the movie received watchable — Average talk.

Even if the movie had got decent to hit talk also, there may be a chance of not getting good numbers due to the other releases and fewer theaters. So the makers made the best decision by going out from race. February 9th is the best for Eagle and yes, there are other releases on that too, but those films’ business and craze is small compared to Eagle.

The audiences will prefer Ravi Teja’s Eagle first on that period, but if the film had come on Sankranthi it would have not been the first option.

The movie is on the way to recovering more than 75% in 1st week itself. This has yet again proved Mahesh’s superstardom. This is not the first time Mahesh has given such a performance with mixed word of mouth. Vamsi Paidipally’s Maharshi emerged as a 100Cr+ share movie and top-grosser for Mahesh despite the mixed talk. Apart from this, Sarileru Neekevvaru also received mixed word of mouth. Another challenge here was that it was released alongside a huge blockbuster like Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Despite these factors, Sarileru Neekevvaru ended up with solid figures.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata was also released with the same mixed word of mouth and around 90% recovery was done. Mahesh is continuously doing that despite poor or mixed talk and this consistency of pulling crowds in the long run is just insane!

Coming to Guntur Kaaram, the same was stated by many exhibitors and representatives in the last few days. After seeing the reviews and poor word of mouth, everyone expected a repeat of Agnyathavaasi’s performance. But Mahesh’s stardom put a lot of them in a safe position

There are many instances of other star’s movies where the movie had a record budget and a much better word of mouth, yet they struggled. But Mahesh is putting in solid numbers even with bad/below-par talk much to the industry’s surprise and fan’s jubiliation. King Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga Collects 24.8 Cr Gross Worldwide In 3 Days, nearing the Break-even Mark.

Continuing the Sankranthi sentiment, King Nagarjuna Akkineni is on the way to score another blockbuster this festival season with Naa Saami Ranga. The Vijay Binni directorial venture produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi on Srinivasa Silver Screen with Pavan Kumar as the presenter is nearing the break-even mark.

Before the release, Nagarjuna challenged, ‘Sankranthi Ki Vasthunnam… Blockbuster Kodthunnam…” His words came true, with the movie showing its power at the box office.

The movie which opened to impressive numbers saw growth on its second day. With a strong hold on its day three, the movie collected a share of 12.46 Cr in its three days run. Naa Saami Ranga collected a worldwide gross of 24.8 Cr in 3 days.

Guntur kaaram day 5 box office collections are out. The movie is struggling Overseas and the test of India after the opening day, but it is running very well in Telugu states. The latest family action entertainer of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram was able to get good numbers on its fifth day. Guntur kaaram day 5 box office collections are out.

But yesterday the movie saw drop in Nizam too and just collected 2.1Cr worth share. In Andhra, it had a good hold on Day 5 and the numbers are almost on par with Day 4. In total, on Day 5, Guntur Kaaram has collected around 7.5Cr Share in Telugu states and the worldwide number will be around 8.25Cr.

The Total number of Guntur Kaaram’s collections in Telugu states for 5 days is around 77Cr [Including GST in Andhra and Nizam].

Guntur Kaaram’s Worldwide share is in the range of 97Cr and will cross the 100Cr mark today. The Theatrical rights are valued at 135Cr and the film should maintain a strong run for another one week to achieve the breakeven, but it will be very tough for it considering the reviews and word of mouth of the film.

The film delivered the numbers which are more than expected already as after opening day’s talk and reviews, everyone expected it will end up as a big disaster, no one imagined it will go beyond 100Cr.

The Final Winner of Salaar Vs Dunki Clash is no one. It is widely known that Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and Rebel Star Prabhas have clashed at the box office last December. The clash led to massive expectations in the audiences and trade circles as well. However, in the end, The Final Winner of Salaar Vs Dunki Clash is no one.

Dunki did not aim for any other markets, excluding Hindi as it was not a pan India Cinema like Jawan and did not target south markets as it was just a Hindi film. The clash between Salaar and Dunki was mainly in Hindi markets. Coming to the collections, Dunki has collected 228Cr Net in India, and it is almost closing number for the film.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki is now running with very negligible numbers. The total all India Gross of the film is around 270Cr and the Comedy Drama has collected around 190Cr Overseas, which takes the total worldwide Gross to 460Cr.

Coming to Salaar’s Hindi version, the movie has collected 152Cr Net in Hindi and the Gross will be around 180Cr and Overseas Gross will be around 25Cr. The Hindi version of Salaar’s total worldwide Gross is around 205Cr.

In Hindi, Dunki has collected 2.25 times more than Salaar. Yes, collecting more than 2.25 times is fine, but that does not give the winner tag for the film. As Dunki is a straight Hindi film with the biggest star hero and biggest star director, the movie should have collected 800Cr+ Gross to match the expectations.

But the film did not even collect 500Cr, which proves how much underperformed the movie was. The same goes with Salaar as the movie should have at least collected around 350 – 400Cr Gross in Hindi considering the massive stardom of Prabhas and KGF director Prashant Neel but it just collected in the range of 200Cr. So both movies have failed to perform good at the box office and both are not successful and there is no winner.
