The expectations on Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit have now skyrocketed after the blockbuster success of Animal. Animal showcased Ranbir Kapoor in a never before role and his performance and intensity added great value to the movie. Now, Prabhas’ fans have pinned similar hopes on Spirit and are eagerly waiting to see the ‘Rebel Star’ in an intense avatar.

In a recent interview, Sandeep Reddy Vanga spilled beans on his plans for Spirit and Prabhas’ characterization. The director revealed that the film is about character & soul it’s about a sincere police cop played by Prabhas. He added that the shoot for this film will begin after Animal Park which is another massively hyped Bollywood movie.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga revealed another interesting aspect about Spirit that will set it apart from his previous films. In Arjun Reddy/ Kabir Singh and Animal, the hero belonged to a rich family and a wealthy background. However, in Spirit, Prabhas will belong to a normal family.

He earlier mentioned that the script work for the film is almost completed except for a few final checks. Prabhas’ fans are delighted, and they are eagerly waiting for the film to start. This pan-India biggie will be produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series.

Denis Villeneuve’s Dune 2 is all set to release this weekend and the censor formalities have been completed. The film has cleared censor review with a 12A rating and there will be moderate violence and bloodshed in the movie. With a 2 hour 46 minutes of duration, Dune 2 is slightly longer in duration than the first part.

Dune 2 follows the story of a warrior who has visions of an apocalyptic future and must choose between love & the fate of humanity in this sci-fi fantasy drama sequel which features impactful violence & intense battle sequences.

The first film came out in 2021 with Timothee Chalamet in the lead; it also featured Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Dave Bautista, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, and Zendaya. Isaac’s Duke Lete and Momoa’s Duncan Idaho will not be returning in the sequel.

Dune 2 will pick up from where the prequel ended: Paul seeks revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the universe’s fate, he must prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.

Reliance and Disney Merge: Here’s What You Need to Know

Reliance Industries Limited and Walt Disney Company have officially signed a binding agreement to merge their media businesses in India. This sets the stage for establishing an $8.5 billion (Rs 70,352 crore) media and entertainment powerhouse, surpassing any other entity in the industry.

Mukesh Ambani‘s Reliance will pour in $1.4 billion into this merger and hold around 63% stake in the joint venture while Disney owns the rest, the companies said in a joint statement.

“Post completion of the above steps, the JV will be controlled by RIL and owned 16.34% by RIL, 46.82% by Viacom18, and 36.84% by Disney,” according to the joint announcement by RIL and Disney. Nita Ambani will assume the role of Chairperson of the merged entity, with former Walt Disney executive Uday Shankar, joining as Vice Chairperson.

The JV will be one of the leading TV and digital streaming platforms for entertainment and sports content in India, bringing together iconic media assets across entertainment,” the companies said in a joint statement.
