Atlee Kumar is currently enjoying the prime phase of his career with his latest success, Jawan (2023). Starring Shah Rukh Khan in dual roles, it is a huge commercial success at the box office. Impressed with his talent, ‘Icon Star’ Allu Arjun chose to work with him after Pushpa: The Rule.

The collaboration has been on the cards for a while, and Allu Arvind’s Geetha Arts is reportedly keen to fund this project on a large scale. But it looks like destiny has other plans; according to a reliable source, this mega project has been permanently shelved.

The reason behind this may surprise many: Atlee’s remuneration. The Tamil filmmaker has reportedly demanded a paycheck of INR 80 crore, and no producer in the film fraternity is okay with it. Considering this, Atlee is very likely to move on to work on a sequel to Jawan (2023).

The film originally scheduled to release this 27th of September has officially been postponed it seems.
