Prabhas’s The Raja Saab Locks A Release Date!

‘Rebel Star’ Prabhas is currently basking in the success of his latest flick, Kalki 2898 AD. Helmed by Nag Ashwin Reddy, it is the actor’s biggest grosser since the legendary Bahubali: The Conclusion (2017).

His next theatrical release will be a light-hearted horror comedy film titled ‘The Raja Saab’. Written and directed by Maruthi, it features Malavika Mohanan and Nidhi Agarwal as the female leads. According to reports, the makers are keen to release this flick in April 2025.

T. G. Vishwa Prasad is bankrolling this film on a big budget, under the banner ‘People Media Factory’. While fans were initially skeptical about this project, as time passed, they began celebrating it. A glimpse of ‘The Raja Saab’ is scheduled to be out on 29 July, 2024.

Deadpool & Wolverine: Mints 50 Crore Gross In 2 Days!

The latest flick from Marvel Studios and the third installment in the Deadpool franchise, Deadpool & Wolverine, hit the big screens last Friday amidst high expectations. After a positive response from audiences, it posted a solid INR 21 crore net at the Indian box office.

Expectedly, the film performed even better on the second day, posting INR 23 crore net; in terms of gross, this action comedy minted a staggering INR 50 crore. This is a superb start for the film considering its ‘A’ certification. The film is expected to see a further jump on Sunday cumilating a 1st weekend gross of INR 70 crore.

The film is driving its major source of income from South India. If it carries the same mommentum into the second week as well, it is very likely to achieve a lifetime gross of INR 200 crore. Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Renyolds and Hugh Jackman in their iconic superhero roles.

Exclusive: Pushpa2 Postponed To 2025!

You heard it right. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule will not see a theatrical release this year. Initially slated to the big screens for Independence Day, it was scheduled for December due to production delays.

Unfortunately, the film has reportedly moved out of the Christmas race with other biggies like Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa, and Balakrishna‘s #NBK109. Besides this, the action drama has been through a production hell due to creative differences between Arjun and Sukumar.

Pushpa-2 is undoubtedly the most anticipated film of the year, and this postponement will disappoint fans across the length and breadth of the country. With music composed by ‘Rock Star’ Devi Sri Prasad, it also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and Sunil in crucial roles.

After massive and career biggest opening day, Raayan did an excellent performance on day 2 as well. The day 2 numbers were slightly higher than day 1 in all Indian territories. This is the biggest single day in Dhanush’s career as the movie collected more than 25 Cr gross worldwide.

After 2 days, the action crime film written and directed by Dhanush has collected around 50 Cr gross worldwide. Today’s advance bookings are super strong and the film is poised to do terrific business on Day 3 as well. This is a great start for the landmark 50th project of Dhanush.

If Raayan continues its performance in the same way, then it will certainly cross the Rs 100 Cr mark in the 1st week itself, and will enhance its chances to join the Rs 150 Cr club pretty soon.

Directed by Dhanush himself, Raayan also stars SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Selva Raghavan, Prakash Raj, Aparna Balamurali, Kalidas Jayaram and Sundeep Kishan in key roles. The music for the film is composed by AR Rahman. Raayan is an action thriller backed by Sun Pictures and is slated to release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

Akshay Kumar once continued as one of top stars of Bollywood. He gave many memorable hits in this period as well. But he started witnessing downfall with some flops at the box office. All his films which released recently bombed at the box office miserably. His latest film, Sarfira, remake of Soorarai Pottru/Aakasam Nee Haddura made a negligible revenue to say the least.

Sarfira was thought to revive Akshay Kumar’s career as the film was a remake of Soorarai Pottru which was a big hit on OTT. Raayan Day 2 Collections: Dhanush’s Biggest Hit

Raayan is a crime drama film starring Dhanush in the lead role; it marks the actor’s 50th feature film appearance, and to make it even more special, he chose to write and direct this film by himself; surprisinglly, it was censored with an ‘A’ certificate by the CBFC.

Releasing amidst good expectations last Friday, Raayan received positive reviews from critics and cinegoers in general, with high praise for the performances of the cast, screenplay, and direction; on the flip side, the cliched story and the underwhelming second half received criticism.

With no other films in competition, Raayan performed well on its opening day by minting an gross of INR 24 crore. On 2nd day, the film witnessed excellent hold and the figures are on par with day-1. Additionally, the advance bookings for the first Sunday looks promising; considering these aspects , Raayan is expected to go past the INR 100 crore mark in its second week and emerge as Dhanush’s biggest grosser ever surpassing Vaathi (2023) & Thiru (2022).

Allari Naresh’s Next Officially Launched – Deets Inside!

It looks like Allari Naresh is on a signing spree; very recently, the actor announced his next venture would be a rural drama titled ‘Bachhala Malli’; the first look poster of the film portrayed him in an ‘Oora Mass’ avatar. Amritha Aiyer of Hanuman (2024) fame is the heroine.

Within no time, a new project of the actor has been formally launched. Tentatively titled #AN63, it will be headed by newcomer Meher Tej. Suryadevara Naga Vamshi is bankrolling this film under the banner ‘Sithara Entertainments’, that is reported to be high on comedy and drama.

Ruhani Sharma has been announced as the female lead of the project. The announcement also stated that the film’s regular shooting will commence next week. It must be seen how this venture will fare at the ticket window.
