Robert Downey Jr. stuns all by coming back to MCU

Robert Downey Jr. is a Hollywood Actor mostly known for playing the Iron Man role as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He continued playing the iconic role for several films until Avengers: End Game where the character dies at the end. Robert Downey since then has officially exited the MCU. But to everyone’s surprise, Robert Downey Jr. has stunned all by coming back to MCU for another role.

The Actor will be playing the character, Doctor Doom in Avengers: Dooms Day as announced the makers. It will also be directed by the Russo Brothers who officially introduced him in the character look at Comic Con event. The Actor wore a mask before making official entrance and surprised everyone by taking it off. The entire hall erupted in joy after watching him. This has trended online as well.

Audience are very eager to see him as they badly wanted him in the MCU. But he will however play an antagonist role this time as the character, Doctor Doom is a baddie. The film was announced to be releasing in 2026. Another film, Avengers: Secret Wars was also announced and this will release in 2027. It will be interesting to see the Actor playing an antagonist role in the MCU where he once played the lead protagonist role.

Devara: NTR’s second look leaked online

Devara starring Jr. NTR shoot is happening at a brisk pace. The film is made on a large scale budget and aimed as a Pan India release. Raayan 1st weekend Box Office Collections: Early Estimates

Raayan starring Dhanush opened to a great number. The film also became Dhanush’s biggest opener. It continued the momentum on Day 2 as well surpassing the Day 1’s numbers. Day 3 i.e., Sunday’s performance looks even more big taking the weekend collections to a big number. Raayan’s 1st weekend Box office Collections and early estimates are as follows:

Tamil Nadu gross is close to 35 crores and Telugu States gross is around 7.5 crores. Rest of India amounted to 10 crores and the overseas performance stood at 20 crores. All these take the worldwide gross to be around 72 crores. This is the career biggest performance for Dhanush. Till now, only Captain Miller managed to perform well for Dhanush. But Raayan seems to be surpassing that in the next weekend surely.

Tomorrow i.e., Monday’s hold will decide the fate and range of the film. As of now, the film will definitely be Dhanush’s biggest lifetime grosser. If the films holds good on the week days and the second weekend adds well, then expect Raayan to join the 150 crore club worldwide. With the film’s momentum, it looks easy. It will be a good achievement for Dhanush on his 50th film if this happens.

Kill, a small budgeted film released on 5th July. The film featured not so known faces in the lead roles. But the film became the most talked about film from Bollywood in the recent times in Social Media platforms. It has become very popular with a particular action scene. The film didn’t work well at the box office and grossed only around 45 crores worldwide. But after the OTT release, Kill has got a thunderous response everywhere.

Dune-2 India OTT Release Date Out!

Officially titled ‘Dune: Part Two’, this is an epic sci-fi film starring Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya in lead roles. A sequel to Dune: Part One, it is an official adaptation of Frank Herbert’s novel of the same name.

Releasing in March 2024, it received critical acclaim from audiences with particular praise for the performances, technical prowess, screenplay, and direction. Expectedly, it went on to become a blockbuster with a cumulative gross of $ 710 million worldwide.

It’s been a couple of months since Dune-2 has been available for streaming on Prime Video, but on a renatal basis. Finally, it is arriving at Jio Cinema for free streaming (with a premium subscription) on 1st August, 2024. Hans Zimmer has composed the score for this film, while Denis Villeneuve has directed it.

Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh Delayed Again!

Ustaad Bhagat Singh is an action drama film starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead titular role. It marks the actor’s second collaboration with filmmaker Harish Shankar after the blockbuster Gabbar Singh (2012). Sreeleea is the female lead of the project that is funded by Mythri Movie Makers.

An official remake of Atlee‘s Theri, it was originally planned to release in 2024 itself. But due to Kalyan’s political commitments, it faced multiple production delays. Now that he is willing to allocate dates to shoot, fans expected this project to go on floors very soon.

But according to reports, the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh is keen about wrapping up Hari Hara Veera Mallu and OG first. Additionally, director Harish Shankar announced that he would direct Ram Pothineni in his next venture, thus confirming UBS’s postponement.

Jio Studios producing Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film

Bollywood Actor, Ranveer Singh recently had a decent hit with Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film also starred Alia Bhatt in the female lead role. There were speculations of him collaborating with Tollywood Director, Prashant Varma for his upcoming film. Prashant Varma recently rose to fame with his blockbuster, Hanuman which grossed nearly 300 crores. But this collaboration didn’t take place. Now, Jio Studios is producing Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film.

The same was officially confirmed by Ranveer Singh on his official X/Twitter account. He said that they were embarking on a great and big motion picture adventure with spirtied energy and pure intent. Bollywood Actors, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Khanna, Arjun Rampal and Madhavan have also become a part of this project officially. The title of the film has not yet been announced.

The film’s release date was also not mentioned. But it may release next year. Ranveer Singh is aiming to make it bigger this time. Ranveer Singh even tried collaborating with Shankar for Anniyan/Aparichitudu remake but it didn’t materialize. The Actor is also a part of Singham Series and will star in Singham Again directed by Rohit Shetty. Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar also star in this film.
