Date Locked For Prabhas-Hanu Raghavapudi Film’s Launch!

Prabhas, who was recently seen in Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD, has signed an exciting project with filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi. The ‘Rebel Star’ is reportedly impressed by the director’s Sita Ramam (2022) and gave him a nod for his next.

A romantic drama film in the backdrop of Subhash Chandra Bose’s Azad Hind Fauj, it will feature Prabhas as a soldier for the first time. Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll this project on a big scale; a massive set has been erected at Ramoji Film City where some key scenes will be shot.

Coming to the point, this project will be formally launched with a puja ceremony on 17 August 2024. Multiple film personalities, including the film’s cast and crew, of course, will take part in this event. Mrunal Thakur is rumored to play the female lead in this war drama.

విషయం ఏమిటంటే, నేడు ఈమూవీ నుండి విజయ్ దేవరకొండ పవర్ఫుల్ లుక్ తో పాటు మూవీ రిలీజ్ డేట్ ని కూడా ప్రకటించారు మేకర్స్. కాగా ఈ మూవీని అన్ని కార్యక్రమాలు ముగించి వచ్చే ఏడాది సమ్మర్ కానుకగా మార్చి 28న గ్రాండ్ లెవెల్లో రిలీజ్ చేయనున్నట్లు మేకర్స్ ఆ పోస్టర్ ద్వారా తెలిపారు. అలానే ఈ నెలలోనే మూవీ టైటిల్ ని కూడా అనౌన్స్ చేయనున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. మరి అందరిలో మంచి అంచనాలు కలిగిన ఈమూవీ రిలీజ్ అనంతరం ఏ స్థాయి సక్సెస్ అందుకుంటుందో చూడాలి.

లోకనాయకుడు కమల్ హాసన్ హీరోగా ప్రముఖ తమిళ దర్శకుడు శంకర్ షణ్ముగం దర్శకత్వంలో తెరకెక్కిన లేటెస్ట్ మూవీ భారతీయుడు 2. దీనిని గ్రాండ్ లెవెల్లో రెడ్ జెయింట్ మూవీస్, లైకా ప్రొడక్షన్స్ సంస్థలు నిర్మించాగా కీలక పాత్రల్లో రకుల్ ప్రీత్ సింగ్, ఎస్ జె సూర్య, సిద్దార్థ నటించారు. అనిరుద్ సంగీతం అందించిన ఈ మూవీ ఇటీవల గ్రాండ్ గా ఆడియన్స్ ముందుకి వచ్చి డిజాస్టర్ టాక్ ని మూటగట్టుకుంది.

The highly anticipated docu-film Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli, directed by Raghav Khanna and produced exclusively for Netflix, has returned to the spotlight, but for all the wrong reasons.The Netflix documentary honors the talent of SS Rajamouli, the architect behind epic blockbusters such as the Baahubali franchise and RRR.

The 74-minute special featurette has been keenly anticipated by Tollywood lovers and followers of master storyteller SS Rajamouli all across the world. This documentary features interviews with important figures such as James Cameron, Prabhas, Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, MM Keeravaani, and Rama Rajamouli, who explain their relationships and collaborations with Rajamouli, as well as his impactful work.

Now available on Netflix, there were high hopes for this documentary as it is about the master himself. Audiences expected insights into Rajamouli’s works as well as some undiscovered details. However, it contains no unseen substance or details. NTR, Ramcharan, and other actors have stated their views about Rajamouli in this documentary, but the dubbing was not done by them, including Rajamouli’s voice, which is a major disappointment, especially to the Telugu audience.

Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan was directed by Shankar. The film carried many expectations but couldn’t succeed and became a big disaster. Indian 2’s box office performance was expected to be around 1000 crores worldwide but in reality, it made only 150 crores. This is utterly shocking.

Till few years, Kollywood remained as the biggest film Industry from South. But SS Rajamouli changed this trend by putting Tollywood on top and delivered the first 1000 crore grosser with Baahubali 2. After few years, Kannada Film Industry delivered another 1000 crore with KGF Chapter 2. Kollywood didn’t succeed in pulling this task off. Their much talked, Ponniyin Selvan couldn’t manage to reach even 500 crore gross worldwide. They hoped that Indian 2 would fulfill this but it didn’t happen.

Indian 2 grossed only around 150 crores worldwide. This is a big shocker not only to Kollywood but also for Indian cinema fans. No one expected this type of mediocre quality from Shankar who was known for making fine content films. This is Shankar’s first embarrassing disaster in his entire career. He now has to take up Indian 3 forcibly to end the Indian series. But no one knows how he will manage to make this happen with this much of losses.

This week is also termed as Appreciation week by the makers in the poster.

Kalki 2898 AD has achieved many records. The film has managed to gross nearly 400 crores alone in the Hindi version. This is a phenomenal achievement for any actor without the brand of SS Rajamouli. Prabhas now also becomes the only actor other than Shah Rukh Khan to have two 1000 crores films worldwide. The film with this offer will comfortable gross more than 1100 crores worldwide. Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan released recently and bombed at the box office. The film didn’t match the expectations and failed miserably on the opening day itself. It has ended its run at the box office as it is running with disastrous occupancy. Indian 2 worldwide closing collections indicate it as a big disaster in the careers of both Shankar and Kamal Haasan.

Indian 2 has collected 52 crores gross in Tamil Nadu and 25 crores from the Telugu States. 9 crore gross has come from Karnataka and Kerala contributed a 5.75 crores gross. Rest of India added another 7 crores. Total Nationwide collections stand at 99 crores gross and the overseas market is reported to be 6.1 Million i.e., 51 crores. The total gross of the film is around 150 crores. This is a disastrous number in both Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s careers.

The film was expected to become a blockbuster at the time of announcement but the opposite happened which shocked everyone. Shankar is now in an embarrassing situation to revive the third part of the film, Indian 3. He also has Game Changer starring Ram Charan in the line up. We have to see what happens with these two films.

Shankar still not bothered about Indian 2’s result?

Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan was a sequel to Yesteryear blockbuster, Indian/Bharateeyudu. The film released amidst great hype but experienced a brutal rejection from the audiences. The audience didn’t like the writing and direction of Shankar who was also trolled to the core. But it looks Shankar is still not bothered about Indian 2’s result.

Shankar was active on Twitter during the release date of Indian 2. He thanked the celebrities who had tweeted about Indian 2. But as the film became a debacle after the opening day, Shankar became silent and didn’t tweet afterwards. But surprisingly, he replied to a tweet of DOP Thiru who had praised Shankar’s efforts yesterday. The Director thanked the DOP for the tweet. But this doesn’t make sense at all. Thiru tweeting after these many days and Shankar even after the film becoming a disaster openly thanking the DOP for his tweet felt very odd.

It looks like Shankar doesn’t care about the result of Indian 2. He also has Indian 3 in the line up so he must have prepared himself to still believe Indian 2 had worked. This is absolutely embarrassing situation for Shankar. He also has Game Changer starring Ram Charan which also hangs in balance now with debacle of Indian 2. If Game Changer impresses, then Shankar may move on to Indian 3 with ease. But if this doesn’t happen then Shankar has to go through lot of troubles.
