Priya Bhavani Shankar has no regret about Indian 2

Tamil Actress, Priya Bhavani Shankar recently appeared in Indian 2 directed by Shankar. The film was one of the most awaited films in the entire South India. Indian 2 released amid great hype and expectations but failed to deliver by becoming a box office dud. But Priya Bhavani Shankar has no regrets about Indian 2’s result according to her.

The Actress played a supporting role in the film as a friend of Actor Siddarth. She hoped of getting big opportunities after the film’s success but the opposite happened. In a recent interview, She expressed that getting an opportunity from a top director like Shankar was a big thing for her. She also stated that she got brutally trolled for acting in the film. The Actress apologized to the people for not satisfying them.

On the other hand, Director Shankar received unanimous trolling for his making and the content of the film. Indian 2 appeared like a cringe sequel to one of the classics, Indian/Bharateeyudu. The Director however is yet to make a comment on the flop status of Indian 2. His upcoming film, Game Changer’s fate too lies in imbalance with the disastrous result of Indian 2. Game Changer is poised to release during Christmas this year.

Tamil Music Director, Anirudh Ravichander is currently the Top Music Director in South India. The Rockstar enjoys a great fandom among people for his thumpy compositions of songs. He is also known for delivering earth shattering Background Music in the films. Anirudh never faced any copy allegations on his songs. But it seems Anirudh is in trouble with his recent composition of Chuttamalle, Devara’s Second Single.

As we all know, Anirudh composed the song which released recently. The song immediately attracted copy allegations as it looked mostly similar to a Sri Lankan Song, Manike Maga Hithe which became a worldwide sensation. This song is very popular even in India that it was used as a song again in Actor Siddarth Malhotra’s Thank God. Now coming to Chuttamalle, the song’s tune and composition sound almost identical to Manike Maga Hithe.

Anirudh is receiving trolls for allegedly using the song for Devara. Social Media is filled with the comparison videos of both songs. Devara’s first song, Fear Song too faced same kind of copy allegations. Fear Song appealed like Anirudh’s earlier composed Bad Ass song from Leo. Many people too made edits then comparing both. We’ll have to wait and see how Anirudh reacts on Chuttamalle now.

Prabhas played the role of Karna in the recently released Kalki 2898 AD. The film became a blockbuster grossing more than 1000 crores worldwide and received great acclaim for his portrayal as well. As we all know, Karna, the Mythological character from Mahabharata is known for donating his money or whatever to the needy. Now, Prabhas stands up to his role and became the real life Karna.

Prabhas showed his big heart by donating an amount of 2 crores to the recent Wayanad floods in Kerala. This is the second biggest amount by any film celebrity after Mohanlal’s 3 crore donation. Many film celebrities from Tollywood donated money to the flood victims as well. Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan together donated 1 crore rupees. Allu Arjun has donated 25 Lakhs and Rashmika Mandanna too has given 10 Lakhs. Tamil Actors, Suriya, Karthi and Vikram too have come forward for the donation.

On the other hand, Prabhas is currently busy for his The Raja Saab directed by Maruthi. The film’s glimpse has been released recently with Prabhas appearing in an uber cool avatar. The Raja Saab’s shoot is under progress and it’s release is scheduled on April 10th next year. Prabhas is also looking to appear in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit.

He is not letting out any intersting news about the film to raise the expectations. This was even expressed by the Producer of the film, Dil Raju many times in the interviews. But now, it looks like Dil Raju is taking over Game Changer.

Shankar who unanimously oversaw everything related to Game Changer has suffered a big blow with his Indian 2 that released recently. The film bombed at the box office with a poor negative response. The film brought many trolls on Shankar and his making as well. Now, This has alerted Dil Raju. We saw him announcing the release date of Game Changer immediately after Indian 2’s release. Game Changer was announced as a Christmas release by Dil Raju.

Recently, Game Changer’s dubbing works too have commenced with Dil Raju overseeing everything there. These confirm that the film would release definitely during the Christmas season. Dil Raju wants no postponements further for the film as the budget may rise again for few scenes and post production works.

The team is planning to release Game Changer on 20th December in all the major languages. This will be a very good date for Pan Indian aimed film and there are no biggie films for clash in this season.

Vijay Sethupathi signs web series

After the massive success of Maharaja both at box office as well as at Netflix, there is heavy anticipation about Vijay Sethupathi’s next project. The actor will be seen in a web series along with Manikandan. The duo will act together in a Disney+Hotstar web series titled “Muthu Enkira Kattaan“.

The web series is reportedly set against a village action backdrop. Manikandan has managed to create a decent following in Tamil with Good Night and has also received recognition in other languages. Vijay Sethupathi is already a star in all languages so the makers hope the web series will create positive buzz. Other cast and crew details are not finalized for this Disney+ Hotstar show.

Tollywood Actor, Pawan Kalyan has put his current films in the waiting list for release. He became politically active for the AP Assembly Elections and paused film’s shootings as well. Now, with him becoming successful in politics, he seems to be concentating on films and wants to finish them. Pawan Kalyan is also believed to have give an assurance to all the Three films Producers.

OG to release first:
In all the three films, Hari Hara Veera Mallu was announced to release in December. But it looks there is no possibility for that. So, OG will become the first release among these three films. OG is expected to release in Early Summer next year. Shoot of OG will start by this September or October. Pawan Kalyan will likely join Hari Hara Veera Mallu as well soon and complete it as it has been mostly finished.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh delayed:
Ustaad Bhagat Singh saw may breaks even after going on sets for many days. Harish Shankar, the director of the film has now moved to his other film, Mr. Bachchan and will start his upcoming film with Ram as well. Ustaad Bhagat Singh is learned to be delayed as it requires more number of dates from Pawan Kalyan. Shoot will start in next year.
