Comedy has always been the most loved film genre for Telugu audiences, and Sree Vishnu’s latest release has once again emphasised the same. Made as an outright comedy entertainer, Om Bheem Bush carried a decent buzz before release, resulting in average opening day figures. But thanks to the positive word-of-mouth, the film has been performing superbly since the last few days.
Directed by Sree Harsha Konuganti of Husharu fame, the film had a bigger second day, followed by an even bigger third day. On the first Sunday (Day-3) itself, the film raked in an impressive gross of INR 6.56. Overall, Om Bheem Bush minted a gross of INR 17 crore, which is the highest three-day figure in Sree Vishnu’s career.
With no other films in competition until the release of Tillu Square, the film is expected to perform well at the box office and gain ‘Hit’ status by the second weekend. Sree Vishnu has once again proved his mettle in terms of performance, script selection, and providing clean family entertainment.
