Pushpa 2 is the first film in Nizam, which enjoys record ticket prices, premieres, and show counts. Now Pawan Kalyan’s OG also got huge ticket hikes, but the ticket price difference between both films will impact the box office records in the Nizam area.
Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is the first film to get the 4-digit official ticket price in Telangana, and with such huge pricing, the movie broke RRR’s opening and emerged as an all-time no. 1 opener with a 25 Cr share, and it will be 29.5 Cr if we include the GST.
Pawan Kalyan’s OG was expected to break the records of Pushpa Sequel, and everyone expected it would get ticket hikes like it as well. But there is a significant difference between OG and Pushpa 2 ticket prices.
Telangana Ticket Prices: Pushpa-2 vs. OG
For Premieres, Pushpa-2 had 1239 ticket price in Multiplexes while in Single Screens, it had 1121 ticket price. Now, coming to OG, it will have 800 Rs ticket price in both Multiplexes and Single Screens 800
Pushpa-2 had 531 Rs ticket price in Multiplexes 531, while 354 Rs ticket price in Single Screens in the 1st Weekend, whereas OG will have Rs 445 ticket price in Multiplexes 445 and Rs 277 in Single Screens.
Pawan Kalyan’s OG needs huge number of Premieres/Special Shows to beat Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2
Also, Pushpa 2 was released during a dry period with no films running at the box office, which helped it, while now Mirai, Kishkindhapuri, and Little Hearts saw good numbers, and all those films will keep some screens with them.
With all these prospects, day 1 record looks tough for Pawan Kalyan’s OG, and it needs massive premieres and special shows to cross or get near the openings of Pushpa 2.
