OG, starring Pawan Kalyan and directed by fanboy Sujeeth, brings back Pawan Kalyan’s trademark energy and box-office potential. The film has been unanimously loved by fans, and they received it massively. But on its day 5, OG got mixed results at the box office.

It has already become Pawan Kalyan’s biggest grosser within just 2 days. Over the opening weekend, the film collected ₹225 Cr gross and around ₹135 Cr share worldwide.

OG sees mixed results at the box office on Day 5

On the first working day, the movie maintained a decent hold in Andhra Pradesh, which is impressive since it was a pre-festival period where bigger drops are usually expected. The film managed to put up steady numbers across all territories, giving hope that it could see big collections on Wednesday and Thursday.

The big disappointment is in the Nizam territory, where Pawan Kalyan’s OG witnessed a massive drop on Day 5 after a strong weekend. Ticket hikes might be a factor for this performance. However, with the high court’s decision to slash ticket prices today, the movie could see better collections going forward.

In ROI and Overseas, the film also showed a below-par hold on Day 5. Overall, it’s a mixed bag. The total 5-day gross is estimated at ₹235 Cr, with a share of around ₹140 Cr. For a hit status, the film needs to hold well today and witness strong jumps from tomorrow, as it requires another ₹40 Cr share.
