Superstar Rajinikanth’s next project after Nelson Dileepkumar’s Jailer has been finalized. Thalaivar 170 which is based on real incidents will be directed by critically acclaimed director TJ Gnanvel who earlier made Jai Bheem with Suriya. Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring the music for the third time for Rajinikanth’s film after Petta and Darbar. The shooting of the film will commence soon, and the film is slated to release in 2024.
Lyca Productions would be bankrolling this project marking their third collaboration with Superstar after 2.0 and Darbar. The production house made this announcement earlier today.
Lyca Production’s other project Lal Salaam also starring Rajinikanth is in its early stages. Lal Salaam will be directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The film is said to be based on cricket. The film will have Tamil star Vishnu Vishal in the lead role, and another Young Hero Vikranth in a key role. AR Rahman will compose the music for this film.
Meanwhile, Superstar Rajinikanth is buy in the shoot of Nelson Dileepkumar’s Jailer. Jailer has a star-studded extended cast with Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishna, and Tamannah essaying key roles. Incidentally, Anirudh is also composing music for this project which is getting ready for release in August 2022.
