Leo grossed nearly 12 crores and was the first double-digit grosser in Kerala. L2: Empuraan has broken this with the pre-sales itself. Producers have also announced this officially. Currently, the film has nearly 50 crores advance gross for the opening day and is set for a monstrous start at the box office.
The film, if achieves a positive word of mouth will surely become the highest-grosser in Mollywood. It also has all the chances of grossing the 300 crore mark worldwide. Mohanlal earlier had a biggest grosser with Lucifer and now its sequel is all set to establish big records.
