Hero Ram Pothineni’s upcoming film Skanda which is directed by Boyapati Sreenu is all set to be released on September 15th on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi. Thereafter, he will associate with the director Puri Jagannadh with whom he gave a blockbuster with iSmart Shankar in 2019 for the sequel titled Double Ismart. The film will be released in Summer 2024, and it is officially confirmed by the makers.
The title of the movie and its release date were announced on the birthday of Ram. Today, the opening ceremony of the movie was held in Hyderabad. The grand opening ceremony was honored by the team, alongside some guests. For the muhurtham shot on Ram, Charmme sounded the clapboard, while Puri directed it. Ram said, “iSmart Shankar alias Double Ismart,” for the first shot.
As announced by the makers, Double Ismart will go on floors from the 12th of this month. It is also said that the film will be huge, in terms of the story and the scale of production. Produced by Puri and Charmme together on Puri Connects, the sequel will be double entertaining and double action.
Double Ismart is also said to be the biggest budgeted movie for both Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh. Ram will be seen in a never-seen-before mass character in the film. The film will have a Pan India release on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri on March 8, 2024.
