‘Godfather’ is an action entertainer starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in a special guest role. The movie was released on October 5 as a Dussehra gift and is running successfully after receiving a good response from the audience. Godfather team held a press meet yesterday and producer NV Prasad shared interesting things in the press conference of “Godfather”.
NV Prasad said that Godfather has been collecting amazing collections everywhere. He said that the film was not sold to anyone and they released it on their own. The collections are also amazing and beyond their expectations he said. According to producer NV Prasad, the Godfather movie has collected 60 crores share in Telugu states.
He also said that it’s a milestone movie for their banner. And NV Prasad went on to say that everyone saw Lucifer and it is also available in OTT, and remaking that movie was an adventure. It is not a common thing to make such a film and make it a success. NV Prasad informed that Godfather has gained 10 crores in revenue collections in the first week in Hindi Version.
He also said that Ponniyin Selvan which is touted as Tamil Pride is playing brilliantly in Tamil Nadu. That’s why they stopped the release of Godfather thereby giving respect to the Tamil culture movie. Godfather is releasing in Tamil Nadu on October 14 i.e. today.
This movie started because of Ram Charan’s idea. His happiness after release cannot be expressed in words. Charan enjoyed more than his film. The industry needs Godfather-like success. The exhibitor system will be there only when such successes come. The godfather movie is like a festival for all the exhibitors said, NV Prasad.
