In his petition, NTR highlighted that several social media platforms and e-commerce companies have been using his photos and name without authorization. These platforms have allegedly used his image for promotions and product sales. He stated that such acts clearly violate his personal rights and his publicity rights.

The court’s orders were clear and strict. Under the IT Rules 2021, the platforms are required to take appropriate action within three days (72 hours) of receiving a complaint from NTR. The orders also instruct the immediate removal of any unauthorized content or profiles using his photos or name.
